It’s truth to that. I drank black tea for a couple years each morning and it helped with my stressful job. I switched to coffee a few months ago and can tell the difference. I switched back, lol
I've been drinking black tea everyday for the last 13years. Friends and family says am addicted but I dont care.😁. My breakfast is a cup of tea with skimmed milk and stevia. I love.... my morning tea

@John C I take it to boost my immune system since it guards against respiratory ailments and has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. I also take it for its anti-cancer and anti-aging benefits. I used to take the oil but the taste is so terrible. So now I take it in capsule form.
I been drinking decaf black tea for months on a regular basis, my BP has improved so much!!
I was feeling good about black tea and tea in general until I was reminded of the fluoride / fluorosis situation. I would love to hear your input regarding this, Dr. Berg.

Dr. Berg...we in India have black tea with some milk ..is it alright...does the good effects diminish by adding milk after the tea is boiled thoroughly...lemme know pls. Sending respect from Mumbai...you the best ...🙏💐
The protein in milk will reacts with tea so it is not as effective as no milk when in your body. Wash tea first.
Nope the good old liquor tea or black tea with lemon .. our good old nimbu chai!! The problem arises with our hotchpotch of milk and sugar ( and masalas )
@@shikhab2250 masalas in Indian tea's are cardamom, cloves, cinnamon n ginger. These are actually good for health.
Always great content! 👏🏻👏🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great information. Also, jasmine green tea is right up there and inhibits angiogenesis in cancer and other diseases. It's a well recognised form of treatment, but is even more beneficial as a preventative. So anything that inhibits angiogenesis is a good thing and there are plenty of foods and liquids that have these properties.
Hello Dr. Berg . Good Evening! I am drinking black tea 🍵 every day before sleep at night to make it more powerful I add clove powder, cinnamon for aroma , black salt , few lemon drops , carrom seeds , pepper, oregano , ginger and enjoying its benefits in every sip. Thanks.

...🌻🎃🌶🍁🍂so many benefits to drinking black tea, however, should you already be at risk of iron deficiency, black tea could exhaust your iron reserves so just don’t drink too much.
Yes, tea is supposed to inhibit the absorption of iron so the advice generally is to take iron supplements 1-2 hrs away from tea (& milk for the same reason).
True; so you have to wash all teas by throwing away the first draw. Pour hot water on tea, throw the water away, fill the pot then remove tea from pot and keep on the side to make another pot. You can use this bag or caddy of tea many more times.
@@anon9362 Just wash tea first as described in my comment here on this thread. Supplements are not good.
@@milkoansah-johnson8768 Black tea is supposed to be 4-5 minutes...by throwing it away you are getting rid of all the benefits from the tea leaves, you can't reuse it. It makes no sense.
Just to clarify, tea only inhibits the uptake of iron from vegetarian sources of iron, not animal sources of iron. 👍
Your videos are so informative! One correction: "Black tea; It's most powerful benefits" 》 should be ...Its...
Drinking large amounts of black tea -- more than four or five cups a day -- may cause health problems. That's mostly because of caffeine-related side effects. Side effects of black tea (most often in high amounts) may include: Anxiety and difficulty sleeping👍
Coffee is way higher in caffeine.
Doctor Berg, you are a Godsend! Thanks for your informative information.

Just buy Tetley Decaf black tea... & it taste so good! Without caffeine
I know...
But how you drink it and when is the key
People drink it in some countries after a meal i think in that case work as diuretic or prohibit the absorption of nutrients

I know the Caffeine is less that coffee
I want to know that too as I also drink my tea 30 minutes after my breakfast.

@@k3v6724 black, no sugar. If you were in a 'woke' environment you would have to say 'no milk or sugar'. Most people have it with milk, and many have milk and sugar but everyone has their own tastes so you have to check every time. In the UK we tend to like it very strong whereas in continental Europe they like it to be very weak for some bizzare reason.

Watch the carbs in milk, but a little should be fine.

Dr Berg, it seems after being on Keto for over a year I have lost quite a bit of muscle mass, can you comment ?
The key is to regularly do strength training and eat enough protein. It is possible to build and maintain muscles on keto but they will never looked pumped up like on high carb diet when they are always full of water with glycogen..
