Very useful and informative video as I’m looking to get one of them. I think the best way is to get both but in the different time. Yours are perfect match in term of size and HW color.

Excellent video and one of the most informative out there. This bag has been on my wish list for a few years. I have often debated over size and hardware color. After watching your video I think I may go for the 226 with RHW. Thank you for taking the time to make the video.

This is a great comparison! I’ve been going back and forth on getting the 225. Id love it in beige color with gold or black with ruthenium hardware. ❤️❤️
Oh the beige and gold is gorgeous !! If I had to get a 4th one I would get it in that combo in the 225.

Great video! I had the 225 ghw and actually sold it to get the 226 rhw as it held just that little bit more. And the gold just made it look too dressy for my super casual lifestyle. But I agree all three are amazing and you just can’t go wrong with any reissue. TFS! 😘😘😘
I have the 226 with the RHW as well. When I got it I kept trying on both the 226 and the 225 (in gold) as it would offer versatility but I kept going back to the 226 with RHW as it suits me better as I am pretty casual also. I love the combo that I have and mostly wear it crossbody and it looks great on my petite frame.
Great video, Clara! i am actually looking at the reissue and saw a vintage with a FLAT LINK CHAIN strap version.. In the 1989 -1990 version... Considering if its worth getting it cos the chain may twist and snap if accidentally bent and sit on it.. Scary! LOL

Great review. I have the 226 and I wear it crossbody all the time as a day bag. I am petite and 5’2” and dress casually in the daytime and it looks perfect crossbody. Mine is black with RHW which keeps it casual which is what I like as I have the jumbo in lambskin and shiny silver if I want a dressier look. I agree if you want increases versatility the 225 (my SA when I got mine called it the small and the 226 the medium and the 227 the large) is the best. I have an organizer in mine and there is no sag. I got mine before the mini even came out so maybe the size names have changed. Love the blue mini
Thanks yes the reissue is my favourite classic bag from Chanel !! I haven’t used my reissues much this year due to the pandemic but they are forever pieces for me !! Love the versatility and understated look - esp the chains are so pretty !! Glad you can also enjoy yours well too !!

I got the 226 because of my height and I didn’t want to stuff my bag.

I think it's more of a day bag but definitely can use it for a night out / party. It will definitely carry more..
what series on 225 you take knuckle that good leather.
I have the mini reissue and love it. I am worried about sagging on larger bags. Yours look great though, even in the larger sizes!

The 225 will fit in maybe one or two more additional items as it's both longer and taller. The double flap will take up some space it still will be a bigger bag. Unless you prefer a mini bag I think the 225 is a more versatile bag over the long term. Good luck.

@@nurinaputri739 That's really hard, I think it really depends on what you carry on a daily basis. I would make the decision based on how much you need to carry daily and whether you have other bags that carry the same amount. I would keep both if I could as the 225 I would use more for work and the mini more for very casual weekends. I would purchase the one that makes sense in terms of how much I carry and how it complements my exiting bag collection. I think I will always have both in my collection. Sorry I know this answer doesn't help but it really depends on what you have in your existing collection.

Actually the 225 does fit slightly more as it fits more than the ml classic flap.

Is there a small size between the mini and the medium. I got the mini and I do like it, but I feel I also need something a little bit bigger than the mini. What would you recommend? Thank you.
Thanks for your message. The small actually is very similar to the mini size as the double flap takes up space. Another option is to consider the coco handle in the size small or the business affinity in the size small. The small Gabrielle also fits more. Or maybe even to check out some of the seasonal bags as they are better value for money. Good luck!

Hi Clara. Great video! Is the thickness of the chain same between the mini reissue & the large reissue? Does the chain dig into you shoulder when your mini reissue if filled up?
Shirl L Hi Shirl and thank you for visiting my channel! Yes, to me their are the same thickness. For me the mini reissue does not dig my should been though it’s filled up. As it’s a smaller bag, the risk of having too many items that would make the bag heavier is relatively lower due to the capacity constraints. For me, it is a very comfortable bag. Hi, Clara. Is the 225 the exact same size as the classic medium flap? What about the chain length? Are they also the same? Thank you.
the 225 is slightly larger than the classic medium flap. Chain length is also longer so you can crossbody the 225 vs the medium flap. As I mentioned in my video the medium flap falls at an awkward length.

Thank you for your message. I don't have any problems to close mine. I use card holders as a wallet and generally pack smaller when I use my mini reissue.

What is the length of 225 at side sling. I am only 5'2.
Cheryl Tay I think it would be fine for crossbody for you. The chain drop is about 50cm or 20inches on the single strap. I would recommend trying it at the boutique if you can as it’s an expensive purchase! Good luck!
