You have the best review videos ! I was leaning towards getting the beige classic chanel flap but now I’m loving the idea of how the reissue can be worn crossbody better ! Great tip on adjusting the straps by opening the flap 😍 love this!
I love the fact that Chanel Reissue bag is discreet because people who collects bags/Chanel will certainly know it is Chanel! It is great not to attract unwanted attention from pickpocket or such while travelling too!

Another great review Isabelle. When I was deciding what bag to get as my first Chanel piece, it was between the classic ML flap and the reissue. While I love the history, versatility, leather and the weight of the reissue I ended up getting the classic flap because I simply prefer its strap length as I seldom do crossbody and just like your friend, for me, if I will spend so much on a bag, people might as well know that IT IS an expensive bag when I'm carrying it haha. But if ever I do get a chance to own another Chanel piece, it would definitely be the reissue. Btw, there's just one thing that you failed to mention, is the capacity of the small reissue similar to the classic ML? Like what fits in the ML would also fit in the small reissue? TIA 😊
Hi Isabelle. Can you please do a one year review on this bag? Talk about the wear and tear, how often you use it, how you take care of it, how much you like the reissue compare to a chanel classic and if you recommend getting a white luxury bag as part of a small luxury handbag collection
My next Chanel is meant to be the beige classic flap but I can’t decide between the jumbo or medium as I am quite tall but that particular reissue is so ridiculously beautiful that I’m seriously considering a reissue now 🙈 I’ve never been a big fan of the aged metals and I like structured bags which is why I’ve never really considered one before.

I am making the transition to subtle CC logos also; I bought the So Black medium classic flap in shiny calfskin, and I think that will be it for my CC logos...I have several classics I just bought that I will be selling...I'm more interested in the understated look, now; I don't really want to scream logos...Plus, it makes you a target.

Very detailed review and I find it truly helpful and realistic, the chain and the turn lock... I have been thinking about this size for awhile (from price point as well). I noticed it is a little smaller than the LV pochette metis so I have been wondering about the capacity given the double flap. I carry about the same amount of items as you, in fact 3 out of the 4 SLG are the same, but how about your phone? Can it fit an iphone xs with the same amount of SLG?

thank you for the review❤️does the chanel classic flap in black and gold hardware have better resell value, or does a seasonal color/hardware combo classic flap have better resell value? i'm worried that 1⃣️everyone would want a black with gold hardware classic flap so they rather go to the boutique to get one new, and 2⃣️since everyone want this color and hardware combo, the resell market is oversaturated

Now that you’ve had the reissue for a year, do you find the white has colour transfer? Is the crumpled calfskin as delicate as lambskin or more carefree like the caviar?

Might I just say, the reissue suits your frame so much better than the beige clair which looks awkwardly stiff and bulky when you wear them both together. And the reissue chain is like jewelry, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen on a bag.

Hi Isabelle, as what you have mentioned in the video you break your ban earlier cos you might not come across this combination again. But would you buy it if it is the last piece and a display piece and you saw a mark on it in the inner flap? That was what happened to me and I love the combination but eventually didn't purchase. Would love to know your thoughts.

Would interest to know the reissue bag is full chain without leather. It is comfortable to wear on shoulder compare to flap bag?
Some say it’s foldable because Coco Chanel’s clients wanted it to be flat and closer to the body, some say it’s supposed to be a clutch.
One thing is contradicting though, there’s a photo of Coco Chanel where she’s sitting with her original 2.55 flap bag and it sits straight. So it always had a straight and flat bottom.
I think Karl Lagerfeld might have indeed found a flattened 2.55 in the archives, but I don’t think it was meant to be flat

Am I the only one that carries a brush? For me that is a must have in my bag always. I found a small brush and had my husband cut off the handle and sand the end smooth so it fits in my smaller bags.

Is there something wrong with the reissued outer flap? The classic is more curved. I thought the point of double flap is to keep the curvature of it.
Tara Nguyen Reissue tends to be kind of pointy at the top vs curved.

Hey I love both bags the classic and reissue but I think buying a luxury bag with an obvious logo to brag I think then you are buying luxury fir the wrong reasons.
It’s great that the reissue is more understated. I don’t have any luxury bags but the main reason I’d like one is for quality and knowing it would last in great state for a long time.
The bag is nice but that pocket on the flap is possibly the stupidest design choice, why would you have the pocket going up instead of down, what could you possibly put in there that wouldn’t just keep annoyingly falling out, I mean you can’t go in the pocket with the flap down so what’s the point in making the pocket that way and I wish all their bags had the twist lock cause those push in locks on the boyfriend bags are so annoying
