The best part of your philosophy is having fun! 😊 Thanks to both of you. Edit: forgot the Dog's Dinner technique. Huge thumbs up to the new cameras and editing. We'll done.

So happy I stumbled on it and watched it from beginning to end. All TWO HOURS!!! Who else would give their viewers so much of their time? Nobody! I'm one of those who always feel that I must do things perfectly... And always feeling frustrated because it's impossible to achieve. Watching how you just let things happen, letting the 'mistakes' go adding to the distressed look. I understand completely.... I used to be so dissatisfied with my work. If there were small mistakes it was all I could see.... It didn't make me happy. I through time realised that it took away the fun and made the creative journey an unhappy one. It's hard sydni but just let the happy part of creating be the focus and enjoy what you are doing. I think the best thing I read recently was a marvellous quote "process over perfection" I think this is so true.... How your doing it and the why your doing it the things your doing are the process.... The result if you trust in yourself should be enough. I hope this helps, I have lots of faith in you and your work is absolutely amazing.... Amazing, remember your amazing.... Be loose, let go and enjoy the outcome.

@@MadebyMarley Yes Lel, I'm doing much better thank you, and so is Terry after his fall at the dog park. I did find out I have to have further dental surgery again though, after Aug. 1. Will be under general anesthesia again but should be easier in that there won't be any teeth extraction because they are gone!!!! They do have to shave the bone and contour and smooth my gums as I have some sharp bone protruding, giving me pain, causing inflammation & keeping me from wearing the teeth. So, I'm hiding away as much as possible and gumming my food!!!! Never will want to see another helping of mashed potatoes and gravy again after I can chew again! Oh lordy be! I try to keep my sense of humor though! Hubby and I did go to Lowe's this morning and got a stealing deal on some wood for the back and top of my buffet!!!!! I'm thrilled! We went really early today because at 6 am it was already 96 degrees and we are entering monsoon season.... Which means humidity. Will be 112 again today. Way to early for this heat! I love you and Martyn as if you were blood family. You are the age of my eldest child so you are like my kids! 😀 You guys take care and can't wait to see your next treasure! I learn so so much. I'm just a scaredy cat when it comes to trying new things myself but I'm going to do it! Hugs across the ocean! 🌊💞 Cathyann xxx

If I'm honest linda, crackle paint can be hit or miss on where the crackle will happen. I think although you will have paid for the stamp in the long run if you don't buy crackle mediums you will get your money back. And you have confidence in your crackles position. I hadn't ever used the other distressed one with the scratches but omg.... Its gonna be everywhere from now on its very good. Sorry it was a long one.... I was having so much fun there was 18 hours of filming.... Marty had so much editing. This weeks video is already done and I'm working on the following week.... Gonna do a 10 minute one 😂😂😂
I have so many crackle mediums and your right you never quite know what you're going to get. My problem is thatvwhen I'm really happy with a paint finish but just want a bit of crackle as well I'm always worried I will stuff up what I have already done 🧡
This looks stunning! I love stamping so much. I have to say though with my low vision it is a little tricky but I get determined and use my phone camera as a magnifier but also, when you were saying how you identify a small piece of a stamp for the direction of where to stamp….Welll I get some painters tape and draw an arrow so I know which way is up so I’m getting as close as I can to restamp. There’s always a way when you love splashing paint around. Thanks again for the inspiration every week.

Fun is why i cant just paint white or any one colour thats no fun to do and definitely no fun to watch, i click on a you tube video they says its a massive change and all you get is a video of it being spray painted or resently they just cleaned the item and then put it back up for sale, thats not my idea of fun. This is lovely, fun with beautiful colours and genuine pleasure
Your brain goes from English romance to the hunting grounds of America where the Indian women put together their colors for their bracelets and necklaces. And then you get this, nicely done!!
