The makeup in different lighting is so true. I will do my makeup in natural lighting and love it! I get to work and the warm light mixed with fluorescent lighting makes me look like I did my makeup in the dark blindfolded.

Yes a neutral leaning slightly warm brown like your bronzer is the best thing to use on the outer edge of a smokey eye. It helps to go back into your skin tone plus just adds a little warmth.
yess i love using my bronzer to do this or even just add a little bronzer on my crease when i do eyeliner because it just blends my whole face together so well!!! such a simple and great practice to overall benefit your whole face

That mua was super aggressive about their disdain for the stripe of hl 🙃🤭 I actually do the exact highlighting technique they showed, however... I do it using iridescent multichrome eyeshadows & I have a feeling it would send that mua into a tailspin if they saw it 🙃🕺✨

That lady is extremely aggressive and condescending about other people enjoying makeup. Like, she constantly makes videos saying people are doing it wrong, because it isn't what she uses for her face. She also does it for any technique that looks like makeup. I'm wearing makeup, and it's okay for it to look like makeup. I don't always want to spend my time trying to pretend like I'm not wearing makeup when I am.
I think i'm going to start plucking my upper lip hairs and glue them to my brows as well. Omg that made me chuckle 😂😂😂 Makeup brands sell individual lashes, I wish they would make individual brow hairs for us gals who over tweezed back in the day. I'm just sayin'.

I’ve worn glasses since I was five and I’ve had issues with my glasses ruining my foundation since I started wearing makeup. That glasses hack is gonna be a l i f e s a v e r fr! I’m gonna try it the next time I put on makeup! I’m so excited XD
In my experience, proper highlight is more about the product than the placement. Granted, I don't use highlighter much, but I've used chunky glittery ones that can look like eye shadows, and liquid ones that either blend flawlessly into the skin, or have weird that weird texture. If I use good seamless product, I can even smack that shit all over my face and it just looks good dewy foundation. Or I use something more sparkly, more extreme... I really have to consider where I put it, and that depends totally on my face structure and blending skills, lest I end up with those awful white/Grey streaks all over my face 💀

The sunglasses nose marks hack is genius! I have to wear sunglasses since I’m so sensitive to sunlight and I don’t want to squint but OMG the sunglasses marks on the side of my nose drive me NUTS!! There's this extremely dangerous thing of late where prominent people in the media are removing buccal fat to hollow out their face. For those of us who don't have much of it naturally, it's an irritating thing to be trending, as it's like, "Who did your surgery? I want to look like that." ((Yes, people have asked me that, and I inwardly go Mama Bear because I want to protect these kids.😾😾)) I like my face shape, and often will use colour to accent bits(no foundation, as I've not found a shade replacement for my staples yet, so I'd rather go without than look like an oompa loompa). I tell people to try using makeup to achieve those looks, as surgery is PERMANENT. I tell them to watch your channel, as you have a very educational way about your videos, and I have learned quite a few tricks to streamline and improve my cosmetics routine.
I agree that removing buccal fat is a trend that will lead to really upsetting consequences down the road. As we age we lose that fullness to our faces, so removing buccal fat is really prematurely aging your face. As your skin slackens with age, there is nothing to fill it out, and folds will be more exaggerated than they would have been-And buccal fat can’t be replaced or even replicated in any natural way, so there is no way to get that youthful fullness back.

Love the eye primer glasses hack idea. He was so cute! After going in with my eye cream, I sometimes use my Mac paint pot in painterly under my eyes before a light layer of concealer and it helps so much with the creasing I always get, the eye cream helps from it looking dry! You’re so right, eye primer is a great fix for so many makeup issues haha. My friend uses her eye primer in her smile lines and says it works to prevent creasing there too. I would like tips on contouring for different face shapes. Like, I use what I know when putting contour, blush and highlighter to balance out my diamond shape, but I feel like something might be lacking
As a "should be all of the time but in reality it's only when I really need to" glasses wearer that's an excellent trick that I'm gonna try next time for sure! I not only have product wiped away but also get red pressure marks there too, so if this helps keep that hidden as well then I'm a happy camper 🤓😎😁

There's this extremely dangerous thing of late where prominent people in the media are removing buccal fat to hollow out their face. For those of us who don't have much of it naturally, it's an irritating thing to be trending, as it's like, "Who did your surgery? I want to look like that." ((Yes, people have asked me that, and I inwardly go Mama Bear because I want to protect these kids.😾😾))
I like my face shape, and often will use colour to accent bits(no foundation, as I've not found a shade replacement for my staples yet, so I'd rather go without than look like an oompa loompa). I tell people to try using makeup to achieve those looks, as surgery is PERMANENT.
I tell them to watch your channel, as you have a very educational way about your videos, and I have learned quite a few tricks to streamline and improve my cosmetics routine.
I agree that removing buccal fat is a trend that will lead to really upsetting consequences down the road. As we age we lose that fullness to our faces, so removing buccal fat is really prematurely aging your face. As your skin slackens with age, there is nothing to fill it out, and folds will be more exaggerated than they would have been-And buccal fat can’t be replaced or even replicated in any natural way, so there is no way to get that youthful fullness back.

Love the eye primer glasses hack idea. He was so cute! After going in with my eye cream, I sometimes use my Mac paint pot in painterly under my eyes before a light layer of concealer and it helps so much with the creasing I always get, the eye cream helps from it looking dry! You’re so right, eye primer is a great fix for so many makeup issues haha. My friend uses her eye primer in her smile lines and says it works to prevent creasing there too. Great video as always, Robert!❤

I would like tips on contouring for different face shapes. Like, I use what I know when putting contour, blush and highlighter to balance out my diamond shape, but I feel like something might be lacking
Your laugh is fantastic.
As a "should be all of the time but in reality it's only when I really need to" glasses wearer that's an excellent trick that I'm gonna try next time for sure! I not only have product wiped away but also get red pressure marks there too, so if this helps keep that hidden as well then I'm a happy camper 🤓😎😁
