Geez, I remember when your first cover of this was one of the newest videos on your channel, since I started watching you in mid-2012. Having the audio from the stream water in the background was so relaxing. It's incredible to see how much you've grown and changed since then and it's good to see this song here again! (:
It's funny that your first cover was nostalgia because of the actual game and this one gives like nostalgia throwback to your year first Staff Roll cover :) Amazing!
Can't help but get emotional hearing you play this, NGL. This was the very first cover of yours I ever saw. It was and still is great, but it's even more great to see how far you've come and how much you've improved. Beautiful, really. Stellar work as always. Thank you, Mario.
What a way to celebrate the n64’s 27th birthday! Amazing job as always. The credits theme doesn’t get covered as much compared to other Mario 64’s tracks.

[2:25 Chorus: Mario, Waluigi, Luigi & Wario] Charles Martinet, you're a legend Hold the torch up high, we celebrate your career! And even though an era comes to an end All the hearts your voice has touched will still give a hearty cheer! 2:44 REPEAT CHORUS TWICE [3:20 Outro: Mario, All, (Wario)] Thank you so much-a, for to making our games-a unforgettable! We wish-a you luck, as our Super Mario Ambassador! On behalf of all the fans-a, we'd like to give you one last... WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! (Wah-hahahahaha!!!)
Man adding that Ba-Bomb Battlefield Reprise to break up the song's monotony is a stroke of pure genius. Whenever I hear Kondo's Original I always half-expect it to pop up at the end because it fits just so perfectly.
Your first cover of this song holds a special place in my heart, as it was the song I listened to on my walk home from high school graduation. Thanks for breathing new life into this wonderful track. Cheers!
Yo, that last part where you mashed up the Bob-omb battlefield music almost had me faint, like the music was already hitting me in the heart, and that bit just made my brain explode into space...
I've had a long day of job hunting, and I've been quite productive. Not only has this been the perfect coda to that, but it's giving me hope for the future too :)
This takes me back years ago to listening to your top credits themes medley. Between Wind Waker and this, I was sobbing endlessly. Those songs are so special, and you poured so much love and care into performing them with all the emotion they carry. And once again, you've brought me to tears. Thank you, Jules
The Staff Roll tune is probably one of the most triumphant sounding songs I've ever heard...and you just turned it up to 11 for this cover. You rock, Jules!!
I always, always cry when I hear this song, and this cover was no exception. Integrating the main theme at the end brought all the tears to my eyes. Amazing.
A history ends, an evil plan was foiled, a princess was saved, and a plumber-man is exhausted yet happy. A perfect theme to end the journey, as you, the player, look at how well you did throughout your journey both through thick and thin, also enjoy your blister in the palm from doing so many spins ;).
I remember when you first covered this theme, it was more than 10 years ago... I absolutely loved it. Today, the nostalgia is still as strong when I listen to your new cover. Plus, this cover has the Bob-Omb Battlefield theme in it; it was totally unexpected, but it fits so well. Congratulations!
Love this theme, was the first end credits theme I ever got to hear. Always get an emotional rush hearing it, massive waves of nostalgia coming from this one. And the Windows 98 screen in the back is a nice nostalgic cherry on top for the era when this game was in its prime. Very well done Jules, thanks for pleasing our ears as always.
this is the kind of music that completes a credits scene credits scenes alone are already nice and all, some show you your journey and what you managed to do, others just celebrate you beating the final boss/level or similar, and some just play nice music that makes you almost tear up, and perhaps even remix music you heard earlier in the game in the end, all credits scenes and themes are awesome
This is still such a good song almost 30 years later can't believe the game is so much older than I am lol. You absolutely smashed it with this cover and I'm very much looking forward to the rest of the list. Great work!
Damn, i still remember when you originally covered this song the first time. I had found out about you through CSGuitar89 back in 2011 and you have blossomed since then.
This one's such a classic. I knew this was going to show up on the top 20. I can't remember how many times I've gotten this song stuck on my brain. It so hummable!
While listening to this extremely good cover I think I realized why this song has a special place in my heart and my mind. I was 9 years old when me and my brothers got an N64. It was our second console, after the NES. Which means, I think, that Super Mario 64 was the first game I ever actually beat. No wonder this song just randomly appears in my head from time to time.
idk why this gets emotional for me. i remember hearing this or something similar in your PB record in one of the SM64 runs and man, seeing you guys hug just teared me up lol btw this sounds insane, keep these tracks coming man, love ya!
This is nostalgic to me for 2 reasons. First for your original cover, how could one forget! Secondly because I remember the day I first heard this song in-game after spending all night as a kid trying to beat Bowser. This song will forever be cemented as a core memory for me.
Best mario credits even tho i didn’t grow up with this game it just feels so nostalgic regardless also a good sign off song for Charles as well as celebrating the 64 era
Jules, this was my favorite cover of yours over 10 years ago, it brings back some good memories. So glad you're still shredding and having us along for the ride!
Would love to dedicate this master piece of rock to Charles Martinet we thank you Mario for all those wonderful years and good childhood memories. Awesome work as always Jules it's nice to see you still rocking strong.
Man, this takes me back. Your first cover of this felt like like such a finale to the channel to lil 12 year old me, only for you to still be making covers when I'm now twice as old. It's insane.
Thank you so much-a for to playing my game! I absolutely love this song. A standout track from an outstanding soundtrack, this song never fails to evoke a feeling of serenity and nostalgia.
Good shit, dude. Best song in the game too. It was an epic feeling when 12 year old me first saw this when I first beat the game back in the day. This takes me back.
not me realizing it's been 12 years since you first covered this song... but seriously, great work as usual. it's cool seeing you revisit songs every so often, it's immediately clear how far you've come over the years! (though there's still something about that rushing stream in the background, lol)
This takes me back to watching your runs of the game be uploaded onto the Jules Conroy during the pandemic. They were always a highlight for me and gave me something to laugh about in those times. I think im gonna go rewatch those now :) This cover is absolutely incredible and emotionally wonderful
This song always feels bittersweet. Like you've reached the end of a wonderful journey, and it's time to say goodbye.
It's the same with SMB3.
@@RetroFanatic-Trapster2And the conclusion to an epic NES Trilogy, nonetheless. 🙂

Yo I found him around this time as well :D. The old cover was always one of my favourites and cool to see him go back to it.
Oh ok I was gonna say I would be very shocked if he’d never covered this one before😅

A nice nostalgia trip back to the winter of 1996 being a kid 😊

He wore the metal cap, so we could *all* wear the wing cap... I salute you, and the beautiful FamilyJules~🫡
Thanks for uploading this on my 31st birthday. I was 4 years old when I got my N64 in 1996 and Super Mario 64 was my first ever video game
Thank-a you so much for playing my game! Oh, uh, and this track too, thanks so much! :)

It was already bordering on emotional (on top of being sick) but the addition of Bob-omb Battlefield at 3:01 hit like a truck
Koji Kondo was an absolute genius
You mean is... still

The random Bob-Omb-Battlefield theme solo at 03:00 kicks ass!
