Susan Shore’s device will become the gold standard in treating tinnitus. It is the ONLY treatment that lowers tinnitus volume. Shore herself said the device should be able to help everyone (as long as the patient can hear the audio stimulation) as ALL tinnitus comes from the DCN in the brain stem. An average of 75% reduction of tinnitus over 12 weeks. Not only did improvements remain, patients actually continued to improve after they were done with active treatment. Information about this device needs to get out. People with tinnitus need to know that there is a treatment coming out very soon that can suppress tinnitus at it’s source. Hopefully Dr. Ben will become a huge advocate for the success of this device as it has been proven to work through rigorous testing and will undoubtedly help millions of people.
@SAHM81 - I am very excited for the day that Dr. Shore's device becomes available. With evidence and research to support it, I vow to advocate for the device to help those who are struggling in the tinnitus community.
A cordial greeting, Doctor, very good video, but Cortexi's original product is not for the ears but for oral delivery. The counterfeit products that are sold, Amazon says that they are supplied in the ears, which is incorrect. I bought on the official website and I have seen improvement.
So basically an ad to say your treatment is the best option? I think Susan Shore is definitely something to get excited about, I'm no expert but I think her device may be more than just a habituation device, from what I've read it reduces the sound.

Absolutely! I appreciate your feedback and consideration. Thank you for sharing your thoughts-it helps me create content that's enjoyable for everyone!😊
Hey Ben, I've noticed some comments expressing frustration, and I wanted to say that whether the new treatment by Susan Shore is effective for only somatic tinnitus or everyone, I'm incredibly thankful for your consistent efforts. Your daily videos, soothing sounds, and dedication to working with tinnitus don't go unnoticed. I genuinely appreciate your work. Thank you! ❤ Please don’t stop do what you’re doing!
Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation! Your support means a lot, and I'm glad to provide content that's helpful and soothing. I'll keep working hard to assist those dealing with tinnitus-I'm truly grateful for your encouragement! 💜
I found your videos helpful in Summer/Fall 2021 when I had an onset hearing loss of about 20% with tinnitus in my R ear after tremendous neck pain about 2 weeks prior. I had a disc herniation C6-C7 and several trigger points (neck muscle knots) that I was able to treat with PT (for the trigger points) and discectomy for the C6-C7 herniation and my tinnitus went away almost entirely... would only return here and there often when I had very bad allergies or sinus/ear infections. Fast forward to Nov 2023, I had another "acute onset event" of hearing loss where I am now up to 50% hearing loss and this time with very bad high (oscillating) high pitch tinnitus in my R ear. I have fullness in both ears. Prior to the hearing loss I again had tremendous neck pain for about 2 weeks prior. I am getting PT (again) for trigger points in my neck, I have a disc bulge (no herniation this time), my masseter, jaw, and maxillary/teeth hurt (especially on R side) -- I can't help but think this again is a neck issue causing this tinnitus and hearing loss given the close immediate proximity prior. I was trying a JawRsizer (jaw exercise) which did cause some clicking in the jaw, so I stopped about a month earlier but not until I had about 10-15 "jaw dislodges". I also went through a tough divorce (so stress) and the neck pain. So my believe is this is also somatic tinnitus. My question is -- should I see a TMJ Dentist at this point? I've tried all ENT physician related options. e.g. steroids. I don't have any vertigo of any kind (so far). My ENT said I have "44% pressure and/or likelihood of Meniere's disease (cochlear hydrops)" -- I ordered a heat pad, mouthguard, and some ibuprofen to try to do what I can at home for TMJ possibility and reduce inflammation in my masseter and around the ear. But what else can I try? Also I've seen someone say Botox can be a solution for TMJ which may help alleviate the tinnitus. Any research or anecdotal takes on if this is worth trying? I'm willing to try most anything and help give more data points to your research and anyone else's. Thank you for your channel. Thanks to others who comment and share, it helps a lot. - Paul
Great video, concise and sensible... consistent with the fact that there are millions of sufferers yet no "pill" has been reported by the masses to be helpful. I am a recent sufferer (mild, ~8000 Hz constant squeal, worse in morning... woodworking/motorcyling/landscaping for 50/40/35 years) and I'm working my way through a lot of the online info very intensively. I also have the perspective of having gone through repetitive strain injury all the way up to writing a book with my therapist. So I particularly wanted to share with others that I see the same challenge for sufferers as with RSI: 1) Hopelessness; 2) It sounds like too many doctors are saying "it's all in your head"... or you need to stop your anxiety, etc. 3) Even if they don't have a pill, they barely sound like they have a distinct, tangible solution. (At least with repetitive strain, there's a lot of hands-on musculoskeletal therapy.) But with tinnitus, I accept what I'm learning in the preponderance of the evidence, that even though mine likely started from my ear 'health,' the symptom is now entirely 'far between the ears.' So retraining the brain's response sounds perfectly logical, with or without counseling. The entire scope of his recommendations, including not just what he sells, is in this video: ua-cam.com/video/msiv4AbZk8A/v-deo.htmlsi=c9tfNAykwJmoWRmQ
Everyone with Tinnitus is waiting for that Susan Shore device to become available. Hopefully it won't take forever to be available in the UK. I have noise induced Tinnitus that is somatic (my jaw or movement affects the intensity of my Tinnitus), so I'm not convinced that the device will only work for people that have specific issues with the jaw or neck etc
If people like Dr Ben, people with huge platforms promote this device, it’ll be a success, make lots of money and it’ll spread to other parts of the world quicker. But if these people continue to downplay the device in the interest of their business products, then the device might take longer to the detriment of sufferers everywhere.
@@SAHM81 he definitely downplays the device. If it is successful he will be out of a job only fitting hearing aids to old people. I doubt if these people want this condition eradicated since they make big money from suffering.
This man Ben remains amazing His dedication with this is second to none regardless who invents what. He will always be an advocate to successful treatment
I recently learned that you can get Tinnitus when you have food intolerance, like Histamine, Oxalates, and Salicylates or have MCAS. Have you heard of this? My Tinnitus started a year ago along with different other symptoms. I started to investigate and found that being intolerant to certain foods can cause Tinnitus. I hope to hear your thoughts about it. Thank you for all your information. I did get the ear maskers from treble health and I am very happy with them. Many Blessings 🙏
We're happy that you found us and are benefitting from our program! Tinnitus can be exacerabated from food intolerance but it likely doesn't start because of that. Histamine, oxalates, salicylates or MCAS could also impact tinnitus depending on the dosage but we recommend discussing the specific side effects with your primary care or pharmacist.
Thank you for your comment. I have learned a lot about Tinnitus with this program and I recommend it to my friends and family. About the food intolerance, just fyi very few doctors if ant knows or recognizes that these intolerances exist. Again, thank you for taking the time to respond. I'll continue listening to the meeting and your messages. God bless you and your team.
Hi Dr. Ben, you have destroyed my faith in my go-to supplement Lipo Flavinoid Plus. All the placebo effect is now gone. I will use up what I have left and not order again. What has helped the most is following you and your patients and guests on this channel. Please keep us informed on the latest research in bi-modal therapy. After 18 months with T, I think I have to get some next level treatment.
I want to thank you for all you do, I have been using your youtube sound therapies since I woke up with tinnitus in March 2023. I believe mine is somatic tinnitus as for years I have woken with very bad headaches and had upper back and neck issues. My volume/decibel level has lessened over time using sound therapy but it is still hard to sleep. Frequency is also alot higher than when it first started. I listen to your videos all the time as they too give me hope, thank you so much for all you are doing
Dr Ben, is it ok to use ear buds if yoy have tinnitus, some people online have said using earbuds made their tinnitus worse and by enclosing tbe eardrium tbe pressure and nearfield of the drivers can aggrevate tinnitus. I was given some earbuds for xmas to listen to tinnitus maskers but concerned using them may make it worse. Thanks in advance for your comment.
I have made myself a poor-man's DIY in-ear sound masker by cutting holes around the circumference of a standard earbud. This "fenestration" eliminates the sound blocking that the rubber skirt provides. Blocking sound, and noise-cancelling earbuds just make my T worse.
We recommend using open fit earbuds when using sound therapy consistently. Check out our blog article about this topic: treblehealth.com/are-headphones-bad-for-your-ears/
Keep in mind the volume to which you are using the sound therapy. Remember to keep the volume below your tinnitus. We do recommend open fit earbuds for sound therapy (i.e. bone conduction headphones) to allow other environmental sounds to get through.
Hi Doctor. How are you? Thank you for the insightful information. Many times tinnitus is caused by severe ear wax that needs to be safely and completely cleared by an ENT or audiologist. Does an audiologist do a much better job in cleaning the ear wax completely and safely because this is important to hear a real difference? It may take a few usages of microsuction not just once to truly clean hardened ear wax correct? Would you please clarify? Thank you.
Both ENTs and audiologists are trained to safely and effectively remove earwax. However, in some cases, insurance providers may require an ENT or primary care physician (PCP) to perform the procedure.

I am a licensed Scuba diver but it has been years that i have done any diving but lately i have been entertaining returning to the sport since i have tinnitus from serving in the military. I wonder if deep diving might improve.tinnitus since at these levels the pressure is felt on the ears and one must decompress in order to equalize the pressure in the inner ear. Thank you for reaching out. That's a great question. While pressure changes can effect tinnitus, it varies from person to person. Some may experiencing a decrease in tinnitus while others could experience and increase; so it's hard to give a definitive answer.
There is still a lot of research being done on these topics. The TENS machine is a common treatment for TMJ which shouldn't have any effect on tinnitus. Check out our blog article about GABA and tinnitus. treblehealth.com/what-is-gaba-tinnitus/

Long story but had a little bit of T for as long as I can remember only conscious of it at night but never really bothered me and never heard it through the day. But in January this year I lost my mum very suddenly. Quite traumatic as had to give her CPR. Two weeks later I got a terrible cold. No ear infection according to GP After what had happened with mum I wasn't in a good place and my GP prescribed some antidepressants. It was around this time I started with ringing 24/7. My GP told me it was all grief to go home and steam if congested and think positive 😡 I went to an audiologist who wasn't interested in the T gave me a hearing test (not in a soundproof boothe ears were screaming I could hear the chatting in reception and traffic outside) he said I had mild to moderate hearing loss and I must be struggling at work etc. I wasn't. He also said I had fluid in the middle ear. Then proceeded to try to sell me hearing aids. No better a few weeks later another GP said nothing could be done but would reluctantly refer me to ENT. 18 months wait so paid for a private appointment. He said the fluid was gone. I have tiny ear canals removed some wax and said my brain would get used to the T. Oh and suggested I saw a dentist as he thought I was clenching. I did this and now have a mouthguard. The T is better than it was. Previously I couldn't even have a conversation with someone without hearing it but now when I'm engaged in conversation it's not too bad. I'm functioning at work fine just trying not to react but it's still there 24/7. Could this be a spike for this long as I've had T but never really noticed it before? I'm no longer in the anxious state I was when mum died so thought it would subside once not as stressed? Or could it have been the bad cold and fluid? Living my life as best i can. Sorry for the lengthy post I've just been passed from pillar to post 😥
Hi, thank you for sharing with us. It could have been a combination of the bad cold and the grief of losing a loved one. @@treblehealth Understood. That's challenging. There is almost no support for any treatments here. I recently visited the newest "up to date" clinic and their advice was to listen to recordings of the sounds of nature 😞
Why no comment on craniosacral therapy? I find this surprising since you have had Julian Cowan Hill on your channel discussing this technique favourably.
Did you have proper ear protection? I got tinnitus after an MRI where they forgot to put my ear protection on right away. It produces very loud sounds.
my healthcare system is giving me corticosteroids to treat my left ear which massively spiked three months ago resulting in hearing loss in my left ear only. The steroids fixed my elbow and shoulder pain nearly instantly - loved that. But no effect on my severe tinnitus. They measured actual pressure loss and hearing loss in my left ear (it happened when I was sitting quietly in my office, calm and no stress. My ear just started ringing loudly accompanied by a rushing wind or an almost underwater sound and just never stopped.) I know this has to be something physically wrong with that ear (it's been looked at by 6 doctors who all say it's clear with no infection). I'm not imagining this sound. I refuse to believe my brain just 'came up with this sound' to fill a void from hearing loss. I'm a musician and maybe was experiencing some slight hearing loss and have had low level tinnitus past 20 years... but this all of a sudden BAM left ear half dead is too weird.
We're so sorry you experienced a sudden sensorineural hearing loss. We have a blog article dedicated to this topic as we know how scary it is to experience a sudden loss with accompanying tinnitus without reason. Check it out here: treblehealth.com/sudden-hearing-loss-and-tinnitus/
I've tried the tapping a couple of times. It seemed to make y tinnitus louder. Also regarding ear plugs: when I have tried to use them at a concert or when I'm playing music myself, I find that all I can hear is my tinnitus. My plugs are pretty old. Are there any you would recommend?
The best musician/filtered earplugs are custom. You can get these from your local Audiologist. The best universal earplugs are Loop Earplugs or Eargasm - both can be purchased online.
We're not aware of any research that proves how grounding can benefit tinnitus patients. Though, if this is a form of relaxation/meditation for you, then you may find benefit.
Dr Ben will you answer my question? After I playbmy in ear generators very low and take them out, in the morning time my brain plays the sounds back I can hear the Zen bells, the ocean waves and other sounds I play through these in ear hearing aide generators. Do you know why my brain would do this? Have you heard of others peoples brain recordings the sounds?
That is very normal! It will not last forever. Your brain has a lot of neurons that are firing when we use sound therapy and it is normal for one to continue to hear the sounds even when not using it.
Thanks for your question! While eating mandarins or other fruits high in vitamins like Vitamin C can support overall health, there’s no direct evidence that they specifically help with tinnitus. However, a balanced diet can contribute to better health, which may have positive effects on managing tinnitus. Always good to stay healthy!
Reach out to your local Audiologist for a full hearing evaluation. They will be able to guide you on the best hearing aid options based on your hearing loss and daily activities.
Neosensory quote impressive improvements for tinnitus but you don’t seem to like it? I was thinking of trying. It comes with a 30 day money back guarantee

I've seemingly wasted thousands of dollars on the Lenire device and now believe that people should be very wary of any device. This includes Susan Shore's device.
Like many other homeopathic remedies out there, acupuncture will not "cure" tinnitus.
Our central nervous system plays a large role in the perception of our tinnitus. We would be happy to discuss further in determining a root cause of your tinnitus and figuring out what the best strategy is for moving forward and habituating to your tinnitus. Literally just got back from the store after buying lipo flavinoid
Guys the Susan Shore’s device will be available outside Europe? (I’m from Italy)
I clicked the link to "Schedule a Complimentary Telehealth Consultation" but it took me to a sign up page for a monthly plan
@amekomidarake - for some international users, our website may offer a separate service
We have actually discussed this with him in another interview. Check it out here! treblehealth.com/julian-cowan-hill-most-simple-rule-tinnitus/
Tried Lipoflavio for 4 months $25 a bottle, yikes ! Did not work 🤬
My T started after an MRI with the poison gadolinium. Nothing helps . I’m getting used to it .
OMG.. what's that? MRI with that? Is it like the barium drink?
@@nnekanwizu7153 Gadolinium is the contrast that they used for MRI. It is a heavy metal injection directly to your bloodstream. They poisoned you
Did you have proper ear protection?
@@treblehealththank you
I've tried the tapping a couple of times.
Thank you@@treblehealth
Is there any reliable research that supports the use of grounding to overcome tinnitus?
We're not aware of any research that proves how grounding can benefit tinnitus patients. Though, if this is a form of relaxation/meditation for you, then you may find benefit.
What causes tinnitus? Hearing loss?
Great question! Check out our blog article that answers your question in depth! treblehealth.com/tinnitus/
I appreciate your in-depth research and opinion of the many treatments out there
Eating mandarins Can help???
Thanks for your question! While eating mandarins or other fruits high in vitamins like Vitamin C can support overall health, there’s no direct evidence that they specifically help with tinnitus. However, a balanced diet can contribute to better health, which may have positive effects on managing tinnitus. Always good to stay healthy!
Isn't the old tested by time drug, Placebow, pretty high on your list?
My tinitus is not a problem but hearing loss is big problem.
What can i do?
Reach out to your local Audiologist for a full hearing evaluation. They will be able to guide you on the best hearing aid options based on your hearing loss and daily activities.
I wonder if Ai technology will be able to expedite stem cell research for hearing loss
CURE PLIS
Neosensory quote impressive improvements for tinnitus but you don’t seem to like it? I was thinking of trying. It comes with a 30 day money back guarantee
Found out that I am unable to use new slim in the ear pieces secondary to tinnitus getting louder following immediately after use. Will try headphones next, heard better luck with Tinnitus population. Thank you Dr. Ben
What about gama 750 mil
Does tianeptine work
I've seemingly wasted thousands of dollars on the Lenire device and now believe that people should be very wary of any device. This includes Susan Shore's device.
Outstanding information Dr. Ben !
What about Akupunktur??
Like many other homeopathic remedies out there, acupuncture will not "cure" tinnitus. While some people have reported finding relief from tinnitus through acupuncture, more research is still needed to determine whether or not it can be an effective way of managing tinnitus. We recently published an article on our site that goes more in depth on the subject, you can read it here: treblehealth.com/acupuncture-tinnitus/

I'm sorry but do you yourself have tinnitus?
Yes, he does have mild tinnitus that he has learned to manage over the years through practices like sound therapy, mindfulness, and TRT.

Acupuncture does not work either
I think you need to fix your cortisol level. Stay away from toxic and stressful situations. Fasting and exercise really works. Limit your time on electronics.
As per Hashir Aazh, your tricks are avoidance behaviour, such behaviour maybe useful in short time but can backfire in the long run.
What are your views on this statement?

I'm about half convinced mold is the cause.
I am certain my tinnitus will stop on the day I stop breathing and go live with God, where there is NO tinnitus….
