It's placebo - a habituation device. This is literally on their website. Why pay $4000 for something that can be achieved with CBT sessions and mindfulness?
@@HearingTracker What specific research are you referring to? The fact that LTD cannot possibly be reliably induced with nonexistent signal timing and Bluetooth headphones with constant noise playing, or the fact that there was practically no difference (1 point in TFI/THI) between the audio only group and Audio + stim group? Keeping in mind this different was most likely placebo, as Neuromod has been plastering their aids all over the internet for years before the non-placebo controlled "trials" in the US?
I’ve have Meniere’s Disease for over 40 years, which includes tinnitus as a symptom. My tinnitus is at about 4500 hz as best I can determine. For most of those years I was able to ignore it, but as I age I am increasingly bothered by it. I’m nearing my 77th birthday. I got Phonak Lumity 70 hearing aids recently, thinking it would resolve my tinnitus. It hasn’t. I am using a CIN, not an audiologist, and am not satisfied. I’ll be seeing the ENT in whose office he works in two days to determine if I should return these hearing aids and try another like ReSound or Oticon which seem to have better programs to deal with the tinnitus. Thank you so very much for this video. It has been most helpful. By the way, you may be interested in learning that I was born with a submucous cleft palate (discovered at two weeks when I began to experience projectile vomiting which ripped the soft tissue open to reveal the cleft). ENTS’s are often curious about how much the two areas are connected and impacted.
most of the reviews I read on it from people that used it are either it didn't do anything or even worsen their T, and it costs a lot for these controversial results...
Many Lenire patients here talk of the treatment having a positive effect on anxiety and depression, and that in itself will mitigate the tinnitus. The audiologist told me my symptoms are borderline for Lenire. He was very cautious about promising good results. However, all the literature from Lenire points to high efficacy. My condition is worsening. I am inclined to pay the fee for the treatment, because of the ancillary effects on the emotional centers of the brain. Do you have any audiological opinion on neuroplasticity, the emotions, and tinnitus?
I have been using a Lenire for 11 months I am better. somethings things still set my tinnitus off and the Lenire helps me feel better. I use it 2 x day it`s working well for me no matter how loud it gets somedays i`m ok for me it is the right thing to help me.
$5,000 dollars. The Creator sold the patent for a dollar. So that should tell you quite a bit. I have been waiting for this device for 4 years. I know how much it costs to make this is disgusting.
Please look into this very carefully. It has made many worse. They used cleverly designed trials to make it look like it worked. Also clever language. You will not see any claim that it reduces loudness, because it doesn't. This guy is a bellend.

Hey Anthony, have a read of their research again. Matthew
