2024 Indy 500 | Jordin Sparks National Anthem

Jordin Sparks (‪@JordinSparks‬), a Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum singer-songwriter and actress, performed the national anthem before the start of the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday, May 26 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Sparks gained worldwide attention as the winner of season six of “American Idol,” one of the show's highest-rated seasons. Cumulatively, Sparks’ popular singles have sold more than 10 million digital tracks in the United States. She last thrilled fans by performing the national anthem at IMS ahead of the 2015 edition of "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing."

I heard some people complaining, but I thought her rendition was one of the best in recent years. Not overdone or overly drawn out. I would certainly welcome her back.

I used to say Kelly Clarkson should do it every year, but Jordin can come back ANYTIME. I dont care who you are, when you're standing tall at Indy, the national anthem is the most beautiful song in the world.
