You saved me a trip to Costco. I had tires ordered and appointment set. After your video I shopped around at one more spot. Mavis tire. They installed em and I actually saved money.
Had K02s originals on my 08 TRD OR good tires, and new K02s on 08 worked great loved them. Now my 2020 TRD OR has new K02s and still love them, way smoother ride over rough stuff and low noise which is great. Would recommend these tires.
Yeah I have no idea why this yuppie thinks he can only get 30k miles out of them. I had a 2016 sr5 with them that lasted 90k miles and still were going. Kid has no idea or bought cheap Costco duds
I was looking up load ratings for the k02, but my 265/65/17s stock Tacoma size K02s are an E rating and in 3 years, about 30k miles (+burnouts, slides and rough driving over rocks and sticks) I have never EVER had a flat or lost any air. I wanna go 275/70/17 (32s) next which I'll be getting a front lift 2 inches and disc brake conversion for the rear so it'll all be fine. K02 E, White letters out, indestructible :) Not great in the rain but definitely worth every penny.
Did you have any problems with balancing them or any vibration at highway speeds? I'm having those issues, I'm going to have to replace one of the tires because of that
My experience with the BFG KO2s on road the ride quality is terrible they are a rough riding tire my Tacoma is a 2018 TRD 265 /75/ 16 E same wheels and tires as your truck . I have 300 miles on them and I'm going back to TIRE DISCOUNTERS to have the balanced checked they have a 30 day ride guarantee so if they don't smooth out I'm going with something different i agree with most of what you said nice tires and they look great nice vid thanks .
My 2017 offroad trd 2 wheel drive originally came with 265/75R 16's as well 17" rims, I am suprised your truck only came with tires smaller then 265/75R 16's
Good video. Straight to the point. A little disappointed with thread wear. I just bought same tires for my 2015 prerunner. Looks great. Extra inch from oem tires makes a difference. I'm still playing around with the psi but 33-35 seems to be ok.
I have KO2s on my suv. I just bought a new Tacoma Pro with stock tires. The tires are not comparable as the KO2s are all terrains. But neither pair are meant to be driven at high speed on pavement...thus they won’t last long if you do. Find a tire that does all things well...but you will need to recognize a good off road tire will have a shorter tread life ...it’s the nature of the beast.
Thank you for at least covering fuel economy. I have a 2020 Tacoma sport and get 20-22 mpg. I want to change tires but not sure what. thanks. this helps
I just purchased KO2’s for my 95 4Runner. I was told they have a 50,000 mile tread life. Seems your’s are wearing pretty fast. Any thoughts on that? Great vid!
The stock goodyear wranglers lasted me about 35k and they were totally done, I wouldn’t have been comfortable driving them much longer. Bfg’s are known for their tread life I’m surprised you’re barely getting an est 20-25k miles out of yours. I’ve heard guys get 60-70k out of a set but those were the old ko’s.
Most definitely Not normal to have that kind of tread wear at 12K.. Those BFG's should at least triple that if not quadruple that mileage.. Balance, rotation (lack of), or hard turn and hard braking are the cause of this wear!!
Nice truck I've been thinking about getting a Tacoma also I envey you living in Texas I love that state I'm from Ohio but have been in Texas numerous times
I have had a set of ko2 on my truck a Tacoma for over 28,000 miles. They suck since day one make every road feel like a dirt road. The only thing I can say good about them is the treadwear is lasting way way too long for me. I'm still over 50% I can't wait till these piece of shit wear out
Dude this video is so much better from the other video you made when you got them. Nice job!!

Awesome set of tires. I have 87K on my BFG's on my 2015 PRO. They have stood the test of time.
Yeah I have no idea why this yuppie thinks he can only get 30k miles out of them. I had a 2016 sr5 with them that lasted 90k miles and still were going. Kid has no idea or bought cheap Costco duds
Great update! Thanks for the info
Hey are you able to set a new link bc the Amazon link doesn’t work anymore!
32 or 33 in tires ?
Arent those wheels powdercoated? Its not easy to scratch powdercoating.
how did you get pulled out? did you need to buy a wench or something?
How’s the wear pattern been with keeping around 30psi?
I love your truck. That’s exactly how I want mine to look like
What load rating did you go with?
In the 265/75R16 I believe they're only available in an E rating. Most sizes on a 17" wheel can be had in C or E, but not om 16s

Hi. Are they E loads or C loads ?
how much were the rims and tires cost.
Did you have any problems with balancing them or any vibration at highway speeds? I'm having those issues, I'm going to have to replace one of the tires because of that
After 12,000 miles they are at half? Is that normal? My friend said he has about 45,000 miles on his and they look like your basic all season now

what part of Texas are you from?
Did you rotate them 4 times ?
What do you do for work to afford all these vehicles?
He stiill lives with mommy.
Nice looking 265 75 16. What size were you originals?
265/70 16 is the original tire size
And 265/65/17
Serious question, can I put these on my toyota corolla?
Im honestly looking for the most durable tire possible. Price is no concerned
I see them on subarus, but usually they lift their subarus. Don't see why subaru owners don't just get a truck. Their $#!7 has no ground clearance
My 2017 offroad trd 2 wheel drive originally came with 265/75R 16's as well 17" rims, I am suprised your truck only came with tires smaller then 265/75R 16's
Nice truck! I was told by America’s Tire Co. that size tires would rub when turning especially when backing up. Did you notice any rubbing issues?
I didn’t have any rubbing issues whatsoever
Would the tires rub if u had mud flaps on your pro as I do !
They shouldn't. I have 285/75/16 and mine only rubs (a little) if I am flexing hard while turning. During a other driving conditions nothing.
I'll just watch this video!

I have a 2015 TRD sport. is there enough room where the tire is not hitting anything? if so what size did you get for yours?
@@b-lew777 265/75/16 plenty of room even with front and rear mud flaps. Glad I kept the stock rims as well. Nice quiet and smooth ride.
@@raypadora4962 good stuff. Appreciate you. Going to get those tires tomorrow morning
Hello would these fit on my 2018 sr5 ?
Yes they would as long as you get the same size as your stock 265 size tires
Great video!

The ko2 is the tire that does everything well
Thank you for at least covering fuel economy. I have a 2020 Tacoma sport and get 20-22 mpg. I want to change tires but not sure what. thanks. this helps
I lost nearly 20% in mpg lol
I just purchased KO2’s for my 95 4Runner. I was told they have a 50,000 mile tread life. Seems your’s are wearing pretty fast. Any thoughts on that? Great vid!
I’m sure that they could last MUCH longer then they have for me. I’m pretty aggressive on them. Thanks for watching!

My friend got almost 80k out of his on his wrangler
I worked at Toyota the stock tires melt like butter at like 6 k
Sure.
Nice truck I've been thinking about getting a Tacoma also I envey you living in Texas I love that state I'm from Ohio but have been in Texas numerous times
Nice video. If you re-gear you will get that performance back and mpg. Thanks for posting!
You should’ve got nitto or Toyo tires they’re much better
Thank goodness you’re sharing your correct opinion.
Im about to trade my raptor in for a TRD Pro tacoma. First thing will be to put these KO2 on it
I just ordered the 275's same tire! voodoobluetacolife19💙🌮
I just bought 275/55/20 Ko2’s for my Yukon
275/70/17 is the real deal.
Dope
Taryn Sutherlin cutie ptuttie
"I'm from Texas, fuck gas mileage." Hell yeah, my dood, MAGA.
lol half tread at 12k miles and don’t air down. I stopped there
Costco lied. It’s the STOCK size
Great video!! Cover your license plate my friend!!
😬😬 Appreciate the support! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Why cover the license plate?
Yea; whats the razon, you are not living in Mexico 😁😁😁

Costco LIED
Love your videos ! Can I get a like from you !
They don’t last long because you are doing most of your driving on pavement. Waste of money unless you daily drive on unserviced roads.
Awesome tires but dude, you look like Jeffrey Dahmer.
how often are you rotating your tires?
