I have a hp Omen 32 gb dddr4 ram with an rtx 3080 16gb laptop gpu. My settings were almost all like this allready. I had to change like 3-4 things max. But it didn't do much with me. I mean I get a lot off fps allready. Is the Nvidia rtx 3070 a very good card as well to play the newest games I mean? I didn't knew for sure and then doubted between the 3070TI or 3080. Or spending big on a 3090. But because I like to buy a new game laptop every like let's say 3.5, 4years (sometimes 3, and sometimes even 5 max but that happened only 1 because I spended a bit bigger than otherwise) I chose for the Nvidia RTX 3080 it will last me for 3-4 years again. I payed 2230eu for the gaming laptop. So not to much. But also not cheap offcourse.

@@GMODISM I'm on full fibre which gives me around 140 mbps, and use a fairly new Dell laptop, which is working great, apart from the live streaming. Tried some adjustments that you mentioned for Nvidia, but stream still comes out choppy...I'll test more, but it could just be the app causing the problem..?
did he just said "max frame rate: keep it on off"? everything is good...but I really don't wanna stuck on FPS cap at 60 in some games like forza dude...but everything else is really good other than that

@@NotoriousDave limit your fps to 30, turn on vsync on, change your resolution, and I don't think high performance Nvidia processor is good on low end pc..
i was doing some mw2 benchmarks because i was having a lot of issues running the game with my 2060 laptop which i mean is understandable, it’s hardware heavy game but i shouldn’t have only been getting 70 frames on the lowest settings and i noticed my gpu bottleneck was extremely high. every guide i’ve ever followed for fps has recommended turning “optimal power” to prefer maximum performance, so i followed and i did the settings as such and did optimal power and dropped my bottle neck from 60-70 all the way to 30 and the games running a solid 150-180fps on most maps with optimizations for in game settings from another video. this guide was a life saver and that one little trick actually brought my gpu temp down from 75-80 to 70-73 on load. so i appreciate it man. thank you.
My fix was going to NVIDIA GeForce experience and turning off battery boost 2.0 I think this turns on by itself after certain updates so make sure it’s off. 🙏🏽💯

But if you want to maintain a better battery span while gaming, i have a setting in lenovo called "conservation mode" which limits the battery to 60% of battery than 100% while gaming and plugged in. That way, it still in 60% but still gives performance. I think that feature is in most laptops but has a different name, just search it on google.
when you choose nvidia GPU display for default! then you must notice when you unplugs your laptop(running on battery mode, not charging), the display works bit laggy, you don't get it so smooth when it is running on optimus mode, isn;t it❓❓ if anyone ever faced this then plz tell me the solution🙏

if fan control is available use it or buy a cooling fan for you laptop. The settings in the video can somewhat help when you're playing games. But if you really want to reduce the temps limit the fps in your games and play in low, or clean your laptop.

in adjust image settings with preview, you have to pick USE THE ADVANCED 3D SETTING, if u want to use the manage 3d settings you were picking lol, otherwise there is no reason to change any of those
Yes I should remake this, but watch out for crap tips, 90% of these types of tutorials have no idea what they are talking about and can cause sneeky issues like stuttering
Nice vid good info. But if u have a gpu any more powerful than a 950m ur deff gonna lose a lot of performance by not using prefer maximum performance. It would only be best to put it on optimal on a machine similar to yours. Just about any gpu needs to be on maximum performance. And ur PCs power plan absolutely should not be left on balanced. Ur gonna take a performance hit using a lower power plan. It might be a bit more stable but it isn’t going to work as well
Damn sun, you're just wrong, lots of "experts" on UA-cam teach you tricks and settings that are total BS, I only try to teach settings that actually have been tested and confirmed to avoid the useless tips.
@@GMODISM my laptop performs like crap on balanced power plan and optimal power lmao. Mabye that’s just me idk. But if I set my desktop off of maximum performance and the top power plan it 100% makes a big difference.

Does your screen have 250hz? You don't need more fps than screen refresh rate. I got specialized vids for changing refresh rate, but this one covers it a bit too.

It will gi ve you 20 more fps at start until your laptop gets hot and starts thermal throttling. People with laptops should never use maximum performance modes unless they are sure they have enough cooling.
So if I turn off ambient occlusion in the nvidia control panel, I can still turn it on in game? Or does turning it off completely turn that setting off in all my games?

adaptive is by far the best. It is only power option that uses nvidia gpu boost efficiently and solves ALL stutters

Live streaming sports is usually a problem with your internet speed, while this may help it is probably that.

If you use "use my preference emphasizing" it won't use all the values you set in "manage 3D settings" making all your adjustments pointless
