Be a bit careful with these settings guys, they can in fact improve your performance in some games, but may also cause issues in certain games. Have had several optical bugs in a game and actually worsened performance in another. If you're having these issues, just reset the settings to default
@@lehoufa1997 the light bug is from the extra sharpen setting he had u turn on at the start of the guide. all u have to do is delete shaders then redownload them which happens once u relaunch the game. in the original vid where he first came out with this sharpen improvement he went over this, not sure why he didn't here.
thank you SO MUCH. I had micro-stutter in Warzone like from 10s-15s between and it drove me crazy! I think it was cause i have "on" on "low latency mode". So i turned it off and now my game is SOOOOO Smooth. thank you again
Just a heads up, the MFAA setting set to on can mess up your shader visuals in games. I noticed it on Rainbow Six where it was almost unplayable with how bad it looked.
A note he didn't mention during the video, that may be of importance to a few of you: If you choose to enable DSR factors, keep in mind that once enabled, if you were using a custom resolution (for example, to overclock your refresh rate) , DSR will revert you back into native, and you will be unable to set a custom resolution with DSR factors enabled. So, if you're using a custom resolution, best to leave that setting off.
I am extremely confused by this guide. Why exactly are you using "Fixed" over "G-Sync" ???? I have never seen any guide do this. Can you explain a bit more in detail as to why you are making this decision? It seems like a big change but you skipped over it pretty quickly. Thanks.
@@NEURO-TECH1 It absolutely does NOT if you know what you're doing. Forcing a game to sync to a fixed refresh rate will always have more latency than using VRR. So much misinformation here

Hello, I am very grateful to you and thank you. This video is the best tutorial on settings that I have ever seen and done. Unique and completely correct, the quality and clarity of everything became real and excellent. I wish you the best, brother
dude update video. background max frame must be off. if you set it 30 fps, it destroys your live streams at 60 fps. even though you can go live 1080p 60 fps, later youtube saves your video in 30 fps. twitch live only shows black screen but later the video is saved into 1080 60 fps. its a total mess. for one month i had this issue and last night i figured out it was a big problem.
OK, so this was really good, but what about the last two settings? Specifically the Adjust video image settings". Should I turn RTX Enhancement on? What should I set it to if so?
My pc does this weird thing where it sets my fps cap to 255. I have the xlr8 3070 and in geforce experience and in the gpu software it doesn’t stay uncapped, it just automatically goes to 255 even when i change it to no cap.
I messed around with that before and all I got from it was some apps trying to give me a seizure despite not having epilepsy. Never again. I only make just enough changes to avoid Screen Tearing.
Thank you so much! I had big massive performance issues lately. Back then when I purchased this laptop, I can run ArmA 3, Apex Legends, and Warzone fine, but after watching and optimizing my settings from more of these types of videos I was having performance issues (which I'm guilty of tbh like 'why should you change your settings when it's already smooth?'). I have a question for you and those who know I have a very good 1440p quality while playing a game but when u record using shadow play and then upload it to YT the video is blurry and sometimes annoying to watch, is there any solution for this? I do record on 4k and 150 bitrate and 120fps I really need a help if someone knows
I do know you can set the recording resolution in Shadow Play. Default for activating GUI is ALT-Z on keyboard, go to the gear at the top to get to settings, navigate to the "Video Capture" tab and confirm your recording settings there. I record all my gameplay video through Shadowplay @1440p and have never had an issue with my UA-cam videos being blurry. Hope it helps.

Hi! Thank you so much for this video. I am new in this world of setting up my PC for gaming. I have a HP Victus 16 (i5 11400, 16GB RAM, GTX 1650) and i will try this settings for Throne & Liberty. However, i have some cuestions: The GTX 1650 for notebooks can be adjusted just like this or there is another setting that i have to keep in mind when it comes to gaming laptops?; If i have an HP 27" 165Hz monitor, can i set up to 165 Hz my settings? I ask this because when i do it, the screen goes to black and comes back everytime that i play games or even watching videos, i have to go down to 120 Hz to not have this problem. It is the cable? It is that my GPU or CPU can't run at 165 Hz? Please help me with this, and again, thank you so much for this video. Greetings from Chile!
For the image sharpening i put the setting you suggest but when i click apply it says nvidia recommended is that normal or do i need to change something else
sharpening recommendation on a 1080p laptop screen? Also, i only have off or ultra options available for low latency and no "ON" option, should I just leave it on off?
only use image sharpening if you have a second monitor. then close the laptop screen, but youll obviously need a 2nd keyboard as well. i use it and it helps with my fps. this guy doesnt explain anything, once you have image sharpening enabled and working you'll see "NIS" in blue font the upper left hand corner of your 2nd monitor letting you know its working. if it's in green font that means it's not enabled. youtube "Panjno" for a better in-depth guide than this clown
Image scaling is an upscaler (and sharpening), so it takes a lower resolution and upscales it to your native resolution, but it doesn't give you the performance boost that DLSS gives. 4K DLSS Performance uses a 1080p resolution, and will give you better frame rates than using Image Scaling. Or are you talking about DSR where you can run a game at 4K resolution on a 1080p monitor? Either way. Keep Image scaling off or do as he says and switch it over to Image Sharpening and use DLSS in the game.
can someone explain to me whats the best option for low latency if i dont like using program settings? i tend to just keep it on in control panel and turn off nvidia low latency mode in game settings.
