The fact that you went so in-depth with explaining each option, yet kept it short and sweet for the most part, I LOVE these types of guides. This is 100% getting a like.
bro I specifically came back to this video after doing the settings to say thank you!!!! I can't be happier, at the minute I can't afford a decent gaming PC and would always been whining that I can't even play or enjoy playing Fortnite on my GT1030, I just run a game and it feels like I got a new PC, visibility / smoothness/ FPS so much improvment, THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU ARE STAR BRO!
Ikr, but he's just reuploading his old video tho 😂 Still pretty appreciate that the video is still here, I've listened to this over and over again every time I did clean install with my drivers.
This guide didn't change it, but I was that guy for a bit running 60 hertz on a 180. The difference is Immense in perceived smoothness and how fluid things look and feel.
**NOTICE** On laptops, Image sharpening depending on your specs, can really F up your fps in certain games, i put it on 0.70 and 0.17 like he said and was getting fps drops from 120 to 35 and always stuttering.
I am extremely confused by this guide. Why exactly are you using "Fixed" over "G-Sync" ???? I have never seen any guide do this. Can you explain a bit more in detail as to why you are making this decision? It seems like a big change but you skipped over it pretty quickly. Thanks.
thank you SO MUCH. I had micro-stutter in Warzone like from 10s-15s between and it drove me crazy! I think it was cause i have "on" on "low latency mode". So i turned it off and now my game is SOOOOO Smooth. thank you again
Much thanks for the tutorial buddy, I'm definitely going to give these settings a try, and thanks for being so thorough with your explanations of each setting.👍
Thank you so much! I had big massive performance issues lately. Back then when I purchased this laptop, I can run ArmA 3, Apex Legends, and Warzone fine, but after watching and optimizing my settings from more of these types of videos I was having performance issues (which I'm guilty of tbh like 'why should you change your settings when it's already smooth?'). Awhile ago, me and my brother was playing ArmA 3 and this issue is still evident and annoying so we stopped playing for a bit and I came across this vid. and holyyyy it gave me a huge performance boost. To anyone asking what my specs are I'll share it to y'all: OS: Windows 10 System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Nitro AN515-54 Resolution: 1920 x 1080 x 60 hertz Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 RAM: 16 GB (I bought this Laptop ever since April 2020)

I added 32 ram set and swapped the hard drive for SSD, little red machine running latest games pretty well when I can keep it from droning off when things get hot, damn fans man...😅
Hello, I am very grateful to you and thank you. This video is the best tutorial on settings that I have ever seen and done. Unique and completely correct, the quality and clarity of everything became real and excellent. I wish you the best, brother
I messed around with that before and all I got from it was some apps trying to give me a seizure despite not having epilepsy. Never again. I only make just enough changes to avoid Screen Tearing.
its a shame that u have 81k subs u deserve at least 1m subs man focus a little bite more about the videos quality , your videos are perfectly balanced explaining the details much appreciation
Be a bit careful with these settings guys, they can in fact improve your performance in some games, but may also cause issues in certain games. Have had several optical bugs in a game and actually worsened performance in another. If you're having these issues, just reset the settings to default
@@lehoufa1997 the light bug is from the extra sharpen setting he had u turn on at the start of the guide. all u have to do is delete shaders then redownload them which happens once u relaunch the game. in the original vid where he first came out with this sharpen improvement he went over this, not sure why he didn't here.
dude update video. background max frame must be off. if you set it 30 fps, it destroys your live streams at 60 fps. even though you can go live 1080p 60 fps, later youtube saves your video in 30 fps. twitch live only shows black screen but later the video is saved into 1080 60 fps. its a total mess. for one month i had this issue and last night i figured out it was a big problem.
I'm looking forward to trying these out I used your last setup before and my games look great and I see some things have changed I assume because games and the way they play keep changing, in other words keep up the good work and thank you very much for sharing !
Thanks for the help. Was facing issues running MK 11. Now things run smoothly, specially after fixing the max refresh rate. In my case I have set it to 100 fps. The complete UI experience has been enhanced.

I know you only do PC stuff but i have a question lol would you recommend turning Fidelityfx cas on or off for the ps5? An would it help performance an keeping a steady fps?
In the original vid where he first came out with the image sharpen improvement that u show at the start of this guide, u had us redownload shaders for COD since it causes a visual bug. Why didn't u talk about it here??? could it possibly cause visual bugs in other games????
My low Latency Mode only has OFF or Ultra, doesnt not have an on choice. what should I have it at? Your videos have helped me out a lot. Thanks for the time you put in to put these out.
sharpening recommendation on a 1080p laptop screen? Also, i only have off or ultra options available for low latency and no "ON" option, should I just leave it on off?
only use image sharpening if you have a second monitor. then close the laptop screen, but youll obviously need a 2nd keyboard as well. i use it and it helps with my fps. this guy doesnt explain anything, once you have image sharpening enabled and working you'll see "NIS" in blue font the upper left hand corner of your 2nd monitor letting you know its working. if it's in green font that means it's not enabled. youtube "Panjno" for a better in-depth guide than this clown
Image scaling is an upscaler (and sharpening), so it takes a lower resolution and upscales it to your native resolution, but it doesn't give you the performance boost that DLSS gives. 4K DLSS Performance uses a 1080p resolution, and will give you better frame rates than using Image Scaling. Or are you talking about DSR where you can run a game at 4K resolution on a 1080p monitor? Either way. Keep Image scaling off or do as he says and switch it over to Image Sharpening and use DLSS in the game.
thank you love the settings,i just wouldnt recomment to put image sharpening globally cause i had problem with that on some game so just use it for some games!
hey FourEyes, thanks for the new settings. It works great just like you said but I have encountered a problem and fixed (hopefully). Watching youtube videos started to flicker black screen entirely, so I turned off hardware accelerator on the browser I use and that issue was resolved. Just thought I would share with you for in case if anyone else seen this.
The funny thing is a lot of the settings don’t even work in modern games. Don’t even work half the time and they don’t really improve performance either everything on low actually decreases performance
Hi! Thank you so much for this video. I am new in this world of setting up my PC for gaming. I have a HP Victus 16 (i5 11400, 16GB RAM, GTX 1650) and i will try this settings for Throne & Liberty. However, i have some cuestions: The GTX 1650 for notebooks can be adjusted just like this or there is another setting that i have to keep in mind when it comes to gaming laptops?; If i have an HP 27" 165Hz monitor, can i set up to 165 Hz my settings? I ask this because when i do it, the screen goes to black and comes back everytime that i play games or even watching videos, i have to go down to 120 Hz to not have this problem. It is the cable? It is that my GPU or CPU can't run at 165 Hz? Please help me with this, and again, thank you so much for this video. Greetings from Chile!
If a game has shadows or graphical issues that make everything feel flat or dull.. I recommend turning Antialiasing - Gamma correction on. Play around with Ambient Occlusion. Performance seams ok for some games. Try Turning Antialiasing - FXAA on.
Let me break this down. A fast talker with a title like this will mine likes BUT NVDIA control panel from Circa 2007 has changed little and game engines have moved on. Default is fine. Burden of proof is on content creator.

yeah i aint updating to a beta release of almighty buggy windows for 10-20fps, not when im already reaching 300-500+fps in the few games i play
