I am trying to replace my Oxy2's main grips with Align 300''s grips because Oxy2's grips recently have a batch of mixed-up thrust bearing where they put the outer disk of the thrust bearing on the inner side and inner disk on the outer side. The radial bearing itself ended up bearing the thrust of centrifugal force because the disk is not tight enough to stop the sinking inner tube of the radial bearing. I am not sure about Lynx's commitment to continue the Oxy2 product after COVID disruption. I can not use Align 250's main grips because they don't have thrust bearing and the wear with each hard landing is noticeable. I don't know if Align 300's main grips have thrust bearing either, but I placed an order anyway. Wish me luck. I do FPV city diving with 250-gram heli and it needs very high precision/consistency parts.
Hi again. 🙂 The Icon2 / Brain V2 (in EU) is a awesome choise. It's rock solid, intuitive to setup, and stabile. And it works great with the Spektrum setup. I use it on my 500x with 2 Spektrum sattelites with a old DX 18 G2 TX. Do you know if the Micro Icon2 / Brain V2 will perform as good as the full size? And what did you end up with on Flight times on this setup?
I’m not aware of a performance difference…I believe they use the same processor. The only difference I’ve noticed is the mini has micro connectors so requires an adapter to get to connect a computer…and no Bluetooth option. I had a mini on a 500x…flew great. Flight time on the 300x is about 4 1/2-5 minutes…but I thrash that poor little helicopter 😂😂😂. Thanks for checking out the channel.
No, I use the ESC governor. I would try recalibrating it first...make sure your throttle is 0-100% when you calibrate...not a flight mode setting. Thanks for tuning in!
I belonged to the Flying Knight Club 20+ yrs ago when the field was in Rensselaer, Cool to see they still exist, There was a guy named Dave that use to like to fly "Hot " planes , Is he still there ? Where is the club located now ? , Last I knew was Ravena, But theres also a club on Garfield rd Flying in the farm field, Please LMK, I'd like to join again. , I use to fly planes, but with all the building going on , Ran out of fields, and Then Got into Helis, so I could fly anywhere, NOw cant hardly find any of them or parts, Every heli I Have/ had either they're discontinued or dont exist which is a kick in the Nuts when you can even buy a feathering shaft or tail blades,, Debating getting the T-rex-300, Seems pretty durable, but going to call align to make sure they're not going to discontinue the model or replacement part,, Glad I came across this vid to see local
She’s a beauty ! 👍🏼 Tell me, is it belt drive or TT ? Also, my T-Rex 450 only has 340mm blades (marketing for you). So what’s the blade length on this baby? 😁🚁
It has 230mm main blades, it’s belt drive. I think belt and TT have they’re advantages and disadvantages...for me it’s a warm up, toss around heli...for that belt drive is good...I like it. Thanks for tuning in!
@@rcflightz2058 Wow only 10mm difference in blade length to my 450! Did I see you doing a couple of loops in NORMAL mode?? I love pulling back on the pitch for quick stops but thought it was designed so you couldn’t accidentally go inverted - always worried me?? One other thing, I’ve always wondered what are the advantages/disadvantages of TT vs belt?? Love to hear your thoughts 🤔👍🏼🚁😎
@@nutleighgrove3658 you can loop in normal but you don’t have any negative pitch power so you gotta have plenty of forwards speed and get rite through it. I guess torque tube is more efficient…better for autos…just don’t even sneeze on the tail blades. Have an extra set of front and back drive gears on hand! I could go either way. Thanks for tuning in!
@@rcflightz2058 Thanks - yes I went for TT thinking it’s more like the real deal but I just kissed a few bits of grass with the tail and it really messed up my gears 😤 Unfortunately, the 450 Dominator doesn’t do a belt version 😕 ..might be an idea to loosen my tail blades a bit? (Ps. Got my mm mixed up, our main blades have 110mm difference). I see how you did your loops with pure speed, impressive! So is it possible with yours in ‘Normal mode’ to pull back on the pitch too quick and accidentally flip it on it’s back? 😬 or is it designed to prevent this ? (Unless you’re in Idle Up)
Very nice video, and piloting skills here Bud ! Nice handling for sure !
Thanks for the video, and the installation tips.
Thanks for tuning in :)

Sounds cool!
I think the best thing you can do on the Fusion 180 is upgrade the FBL to the ubrain2/uikon2 is a Huge change in how the fusion feels in the air.
You can do it...just go for it 👍🏻👍🏻
You can't beat the IKON. All my helis are setup with IKONs.
Simple…always works…room to grow…no brainer for me.

Great video, mine is not rock solid yet, are you using the iKon2 governor? I can hear my moter change speeds without me touching the stick,

That thing is zippy !
It’s great machine, especially for how small it is. Thanks for checking out the channel!
