Seeing this thing in person was really impressive. Definitely something to behold and a very cool promotional exercise for the books. Thanks for coming by David!
My grandma bought a red 1971 Mach 1 new off the lot and it was always her favourite car. She used to talk about it all the time. I can't wait to see this thing finished!
I love 1971-73 mustang better than 65-70 mustang his type of mustang get underpreceated I saw one yesterday I was disappointed I saw it and say is too long good thing I got a 1970 Shelby gt500 instead will it be wrong if I put the 1971 mustang running horse logo in the front grill of my Shelby beside the Cobra logo in the end the Shelby is a mustang but with Caroll Shelby work
This reminds me of one time I was out mudding with some buddies way out in the woods in NH and sent my truck to deep into the mud and got stuck. Then a big mustang lifted huge with sweet bumpers and light bars and 44” boggers on it to pull me out I wish I could put a picture on here of it. Greatest looking mustang I’ve ever seen. He goes to events with it if you see any mudding videos in NH you may see the mustang in it
I was like #1000 on this video, nice. Love the stories guys! Keep it up! You, Doug Demuro, & The Straight Pipes are easily my fav automotive channels by a wide-margin.
Having owned 3 different 73 Mach 1's I can tell you they would make excellent zombie apocalypse transportation. They are tanks. I hit a telephone pole doing 60 in my first with no seat belt and not only wasn't hurt, I drove it home. haha. In my 2nd I was rear-ended at a stop sign by a lady in a 90's Honda accord. Her car was totaled and I had a slightly bent rear bumper.
A friend of mine's mother has a '72 mach 1 that's been sitting in a garage since the 80s or 90s... I want to rescue it, but she'd never get rid of it for any price I could afford.
Where is it? Anywhere in Ontario? Does it have the regular chrome reverse wheels (Not the mags) Is it medium Gold Yellow? Does it lack the Hockey puck stripes? Trying to locate my father's old Mach 1 that he bought brand new in Sudbury in 1972. He sold it in '76.
I can tell it's not THAT car, it's a sky blue automatic car with a Cleveland 351. I've not seen the wheels, they're currently off it and stacked in a corner under some junk... Plus it's in Florida, quite a distance for a car like that to travel.
Next convention you go to, rent 2 side by side booths on the ground floor and arrange with the convention hall staff to roll your car into the building... And use it as your "table"... You'll have NO problems getting people to stop and talk to you about it/your books...especially if that car is featured in one of your books...
Ok I’m a heavy reader and a car guy with 69 mustang fastback. Always wanted to do up 71 mustang like mad max Falcon XB GT interceptor. Beat me to it. Awesome work can’t wait to read “Zombie Road”.
It's crazy I just run across this. I know the guy he bought it from always wondered what happened to it. I remember dragging that car out of the house that burnt down on top of it
brilliant vid! gonna check out the zombie road series- surprised I hadn't heard about it before. also, the mustang mach one build should be tax deductible as a promotion expense (note: not an accountant, sorry)
I am doing my 2020 Dodge Charger GT AWD light mad max/rally offroader. Gotbpsu guards, roof wrack, spare wheel with brwkxet mounted over rear window, got rims with nasty all terrain tires. Can't find lift kit, just need like 2 inches to feet bigger tires with spacers, to widen it. It's black on black leather, getting matt red stripes bumper to bumper too done. Need a lift kit, not spacers but legit coilovers so it rides good. Was looking at kids people use to put like 36" rims on their sedans.
I drove for 3 summers without brake lights.. kept pulling the headlight switch.. messed around cleaning all the grounds, sockets replacing all bulbs, fuses.. I finally figured it out. the brake pedal switch mount had got bent out of place. a 6 second fix
Cool as f***. If you like this you'd probably like the Mad Max inspired car those Aussie nutters at Mighty Car Mods put together. It was their first project with a V8 too and they did it right. Four words - Zoomies Through The Hood ;-)
James Price Supercharger and a Blower, I don't guess you could go wrong with 2 superchargers/blowers. Just remember to add the 2 magic buttons to turn them off and on as needed...
James Price That would be cool as well, but only if they had the on/off button like the super-duper charger from mad max. I don't see why a turbo couldn't have an on/off switch like the supa charger did. Feasibility equally as ludicrous...
Emil Lerp run a ball valve through the intake where the boosted air rund through itll make it to where you could switch the boost on or off on the engine kinda like roadkill did with the leaf blower monza and the boost caboose
Rule number 32 in a Zombie Apocalypse: Never take an elevator. Safety sensors prevent doors from shutting. Speaking of Safety Sensors... Rule number 68 in a Zombie Apocalypse: Never Jack a late model Mercedes. If a paper cup blowing across the road will activate the brakes, what would happen if a zombie is standing in your path, reaching over the hood, moaning "unh"? ... Yeah, you go no where! "unh..." Ironically, 68 is the speed limit in sex before you eat it. "unh!"
The best part is how much this guy loves his build
Not just him love that car🙂
Now all you need is a boring flamethrower.
Boring not a flamethrower*
Make it a little pipe in the center of the turn signals that shoots fire out of the grill
No no no.. flamethrower is old hat and Elon is... a hack. Napalm gun would be much better.
Seeing this thing in person was really impressive. Definitely something to behold and a very cool promotional exercise for the books. Thanks for coming by David!
Ed Bolian amazing to see. And probably a little scary to drive 😂
Ed Bolian have you read the books?
So how many times did he go to your house and try to steal your Lamborghini? :P
I believe Ed can't answer, he's sitting in his Lamborghini 24/7 with a Shotgun at the ready waiting for the sound of a Mustang arriving...
it is a really amazing car to see
This looks like someone's personal vehicle in GTA V
I love everything about this car. Muscle cars, monster trucks, and zombies. It's like my entire childhood rolled into one car.
Gold in rust!!! that's a flagship car for the vinwiki run.
If someone asked what the US was about, I'd show him this vid.
Uzer Naim *The south
show them a school shooting and a hospital bill

USA!!! 🇺🇸
Now that is the coolest thing on UA-cam today! Zombie Mustang! Crowds [of undead] beware.
Gus Kipper hahahahaha finally a mustang you want to go into the crowd!
Gus Kipper go fuck your self.
Lmao I found the mustang owners
My grandma bought a red 1971 Mach 1 new off the lot and it was always her favourite car. She used to talk about it all the time. I can't wait to see this thing finished!
My first car was a '71 Mach I...and now I have an ex Baja 1000 race rig.... I love this build! The best.
I love 1971-73 mustang better than 65-70 mustang his type of mustang get underpreceated I saw one yesterday I was disappointed I saw it and say is too long good thing I got a 1970 Shelby gt500 instead will it be wrong if I put the 1971 mustang running horse logo in the front grill of my Shelby beside the Cobra logo in the end the Shelby is a mustang but with Caroll Shelby work
I've been seeing pics of this Mustang all over social media this past weekend and was wondering who owned it lol. That thing looks badass!
This reminds me of one time I was out mudding with some buddies way out in the woods in NH and sent my truck to deep into the mud and got stuck. I actually read all those books (well, the audiobooks, anyway); good stuff! 😎
And now for something completely different! I love it. Certainly not what I was expecting to enjoy watching this morning.
This is almost exactly what I have always wanted to do with that model mustang.
This is one of the coolest cars I've ever seen.
I was like #1000 on this video, nice. Love the stories guys! Keep it up! You, Doug Demuro, & The Straight Pipes are easily my fav automotive channels by a wide-margin.

Low Elevation RC bruh where in Florida?
Am I the only one that’s living for these videos?
Nope!
me too. best part of my morning.
Glad you guys are enjoying them.
It's a cult
You must have a fucked up life
Love it. Best stories on the best channel. Bottom line
We're here cause if we had the $ or mancave garage, we'd all build our own versions! I like this guys style!
His face at 1:28 as he said people just walk by😂
This is an awesome channel!
SuperSaiyan3985, lol.
I love the brake light/tail light trick.
that trick dont work at night
P WrightisRight better get to where your going by dark.
Ed, I love seeing thiese videos and I appreciate what your guys are doing. Please keep them coming. More cannonball related content maybe!
Cole Davis would you please give my racing channel a Subscribe
If writing a countach into my books makes it tax deductible then it looks like I have magically become a writer...
This is one of the best uses of a 71 mustang
Respect man, things like thise one pushes more foraward others to create own rides, great job :)
It doesn't even need to be prepped for the apocalypse
,its a mustang remember
"It draws a crowd"
I love all things post apocalyptic! Awesome ride man!

Behold, the first mustang that was meant to kill a crowd 😂🤘
That is the most Mad Max car that wasn't in the Mad Max movies.
I feel like more people are prepared for the zombie apocalypse than they are for retirement
Man that thing is cool! Only thing I'd change are the big wheels. Cool!
*Right now the zombies are the NPC people that you need a proper car to drive through hehe ;)*
Ok I’m a heavy reader and a car guy with 69 mustang fastback. Always wanted to do up 71 mustang like mad max Falcon XB GT interceptor. Beat me to it. Awesome work can’t wait to read “Zombie Road”.
Best mustang body style imo.
Nice! Mustangs are my favorite cars.
Never heard of this, but this needs to be a movie or Netflix show!
No matter how old we get we never older then 12-16 year old.
Go to Ed’s house and steal his Lamborghini! Seems legit.
Lol the bad hombres comment was hilarious. Me and my friends used to call enemies bad hombres when we were little kids playing video games.
Last time I was this early the lot still had f150s
2:33 do it do it do It Do It DO IT DO I *DO IT DO IT DO IT!*
This guy is a legend
This, Is a piece of artwork.
It's crazy I just run across this. I know the guy he bought it from always wondered what happened to it. I remember dragging that car out of the house that burnt down on top of it
You had me at Mach 1👍
Best author ever, David convinced me to read his book and if I didn't like it he would send me a goat instead :-). He didn´t need o send me a goat.
brilliant vid! gonna check out the zombie road series- surprised I hadn't heard about it before. also, the mustang mach one build should be tax deductible as a promotion expense (note: not an accountant, sorry)
Damn I'm early, how's the weather over there Ed?
Still cold. Spring needs to get here fast!
I always liked the OBD 1 & older cars even pre smog cars too The book look interesting
Good luck with the books mate. I'll check them out
This is the BOSS!!!😃.
Friggin love it and where can i buy your book
Amazon
That car is awesome if i was going to build one id use a 87 chevy camaro because their extreamly popular around here theres four in my neighborhood

Im not a big Mustang fan but i love this build
That thing is BAD ADS! I want one.
I have always loved cars modded like this.
YOOOO THE UNION PACIFIC BIG BOY TRAIN!!
I KNOW that one's gotta be good
I’m building a zombie apocalypse baja bug, Dave,, any room in one of your books for it
Damn, I might have to pick up one of his books! Covers look great, wonder if the series is as good!
Last time I was this early, I still wasn't quite sure what the name of the Lamborghini test driver was.
Valentino Balboni? You talking about Valentino Balboni? I think you might be talking about Valentino Balboni.
Valentino bamboni??? Valentino bamboni?? Do you mean valentino bamboni? Valentino bamboni right?
It looks like a mad max car
Yeah, I was struck by the same thought. It looks a lot like the XB Falcon coupe from the first few Mad Max movies.
05:44 You should get a replica made... that way you're not hurting an original :)
Omg I love love love it!❤️
I drove for 3 summers without brake lights.. kept pulling the headlight switch.. messed around cleaning all the grounds, sockets replacing all bulbs, fuses.. I finally figured it out. the brake pedal switch mount had got bent out of place. a 6 second fix
This dude is in it! Cool. Going to buy the book now haha
What tires are those? Sizes?
Love it, except those rim. They just don't do it for me. But hey, it's not my car. :)
Steel rims all the way!You can bend steel and then hammer it,but whrn you " bend" alloy wheels, guess what😂😂😂
Does anyone know the year of the mercury in the book was supposed to be
Lmfao 😂😂 this is my neighbors cars
Cool as f***.

I loved that build personally i would have thrown a supercharger and blower mad max style on it
James Price Supercharger and a Blower, I don't guess you could go wrong with 2 superchargers/blowers. Just remember to add the 2 magic buttons to turn them off and on as needed...
Emil Lerp either that or quad turbos
James Price That would be cool as well, but only if they had the on/off button like the super-duper charger from mad max. I don't see why a turbo couldn't have an on/off switch like the supa charger did. Feasibility equally as ludicrous...
Emil Lerp run a ball valve through the intake where the boosted air rund through itll make it to where you could switch the boost on or off on the engine kinda like roadkill did with the leaf blower monza and the boost caboose
Awesome! Now build the train.
Fun build. I'm glad you used a 71 and not a 69 or 70
theres a 67 fastback monster truck around here a mustang 2 also
What kind of wheels are those?
thats a wild build. Still waiting for rob ferratti feature here
Reminds me of the red one in Cherry 2000
Siiiick car bro!
That's one beautiful car.
its built for hard to reach crowds
I have a 72 Mustang and I would love to do this!
Very unorthodox but I like it!
What rims are on that Mach 1 in the first couple pics?
That's one awesome build.

You already know he ordered Elon musk's flame thrower
Love the car.
Simply wicked
David, I feel if you write a Countach into the script then you absolutely can justify one as a “promotional” tool!
I would die happily if i saw a lifted countach built like a zombie survival vehicle
were can i buy his books ?
this would be better with video and audio of the cars, we wanna hear em rev
Do they have guard rail for Honda accord
Awesome built not bought
Where can I buy his book
I'm sure that driving this masterpiece help writing . Cool as hell.
