It was rare for Desi Arnaz to make a TV appearance after "I Love Lucy" was over, so it was always a treat to see him. I wish he had done more because he still had 'it.'

      Mr. Hatfield,
According to the Internet Movie Database, Mr. Arnaz Concentrated mostly on producing.
He produced 2,487 episodes of TV including some films.
This total DOES NOT include the shows he produced while working on "I Love Lucy".
On Mar 14, 1974, Mr. Arnaz Guest Started on an Episode of Ironside entitled "Riddle at 24,000". It was created as a backdoor pilot for a NEW Fictional Mystery Investigative series. NBC Decided to Pass on the show.

When the episode was done filming the footage from the 3 cameras were edited in the correct sequence takes to complete that episode for broadcast.
