Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is well known mycotoxin for its great public health impact.
Mycotoxins cause a toxic response known as mycotoxicosis.
Common diseases: Nephropathy, various types of cancer, alimentary toxic aleukia, hepatic diseases, various hemorrhagic syndromes, and immune and neurological disorders.
Mycotoxins are often detected in damp environments, and they occur most often in a wide range of moldy foods....
