NUECES River WHITEBASS 2024 - Light tackle fishing South Texas River! (Whitebass Spawn)

What is going on everyone! This video was filmed around the beginning of February when I made a trip for some whitebass in the Nueces. During their spring spawning run (December-March, typically), you can find huge numbers of fish in the Nueces. We brought our new pedal kayak and ultralight gear and got after them! Great video! From Rockport, fished same river in mid March but couldn't find any fish, I paddled up to rusty bridge and turned back to Hwy 59 ramp. Should I put in at airport rd ramp and go toward hwy 59 or go the other direction up river?

Last two years I’ve put in at airport and head upriver, always find some fish! I’d definitely try it next year if you haven’t before.
