The people we should hold account for this behaviour is the council.
Yes it’s one thing to be rightly upset at their behaviour but they are acting as they have been instructed. Someone was watching AB on cctv and told them to question and follow AB. There must also be training courses up and down the country telling the police and these safety officers to apprehend the public if they see *anything suspicious*. It’s the people in charge that know this violates your rights but they still go ahead with it.

Imagine how scared an elderly or infirm person would be. There is a person with learning difficulties who walks around my home town always stopping in doorways and looking in and through windows.
