1st defenestration of Prague sparked the Hussite Rebellion during the Luxembourg era
2nd defenestration of Prague is less known because nothing really happened and it happened during the era when the Poles were on the Bohemian throne

and the 4th defenestration was when the communists threw Jan Masaryk out of the (I'm pretty sure) toilet window, later calling it suicide.
As someone from Czech Republic, I can say this is how they teach it in school.

I've actually played around with a gamemode very similar to this, which I call "escort" where the CTs have the hostage from the start, and have to "escort" the hostage to another part of the map, with multiple ways to get there. The terrorists have to intercept the hostage and prevent it reaching the escape zone
It was much more fun than cs_ mode and prevents camping the hostage spawn. Also, bots implicitly understand the mode too! [as it can basically be thought of as just the second half of cs game mode.]
Now that I'm quarantine, I really should try to remake some of my earlier maps of this mode... 🤔

The game mode is already there as the Assassination Mode. An example can be as_oilrig in Counter Strike 1.6. It is not there in CSGO I think

No, it's not, but it's very close.
There's no VIP. There is instead a hostage just like the normal cs mode, and doesn't require any modding, other than a map being built
Also no dedicated VIP means it's up to whoever wants to escort the hostage

Office is way more fun but not balanced off course, Italy needs to be remastered, there is some parts of the map that are really shitty

I remember when this map came out, I grabbed a hostage and ran back to spawn and it worked. Needless to say it was fixed rather quickly.

thank you for making this. it has given me some great ideas on how make hostage mode better.
You know what ? I'm gonna say it. April's fool aside, this could actually be a good and interesting idea. I just want to see a server use this map, or for Philip to actually improve it, especially on the visuals, to test and see if this catch fire, for real.
I can already see one big flaw with this specific map: Doing the objectives *costs you all your equipment*. Because you die, and then respawn without it. Discouraging actually doing the objective.
So, maybe don't have the CTs leave an impression (of their body on the floor) to easily win?
Otherwise, this mode sounds a bit like the VIP mode, except you carry a hostage instead of escorting a player.
Or the CT could buy only kevlar and kit and win anyway since that's all it takes lol
Or the CTs could buy a calendar and know which month and date it is.
Pretty sure this is for April fools but also if this was a real map you get kicked after suiciding 3-5 times I think.

A one-way drop with glass like 3:00 would be a neat idea in a normal defuse map. Ts could shoot it out to spend the sound cue early in the round to give more options later on and force CTs to pay attention, just jump on it if they're in a rush, or jump on it while shooting it out to create some ambiguity so CTs aren't sure what you're doing.

I just want you to ask to controll your servers, as there is an enormous amount of kids who are kicking each and every person who kills them. I joined the server as a Terrorist, killed all CT's and got insta kicked by kids who were crying, without any permission to recconect. It's what our CS GO community looks like, and I hope you can manage to fix it.

Maan I remember the old hostage rescue days. Your new mode reminds me a little of the old Assassination mode.
I think that's a pretty interesting concept in the map changing under certain situations that give one side some advantage. For example when Ts plant the bomb it opens an additional route for CTs to retake or open additional routes for Ts/CTs when hostages get picked up.

When the bombsite in the hostage room is added I think this map will shine even more. I like the attention to angles and making sure there's jumps of all different skill levels to challenge even the globalest among us.
i played like 2-3 hours on your server today, and i had much more fun than playing the new added maps. althought they look great :) the people were very nice trying, and i hope i achieved something with the levitating hostage today xD

Office try hards who have perfected the art of supply room. You forgot meeting, long, vending, ledge, bathroom. TBH the map is a total treasure with plenty of cheese plays.

Finally! This map has been teased over so many years
Reminds me of SWAT 4 Vip mode (The hostage mode for that game), the SWAT team starts with the Vip on their spawn (which is controlled by a player) and must escort the Vip to the exit zone, the Suspect team needs to stun and handcuff the Vip and hold him handcuffed for like 2 minutes, at the end they shoot the Vip to win. The SWAT must rescue the Vip if they are ever handcuffed. It was such a fun game mode due to variety of routes the teams can take.

Putting windows everywhere in csgo is basically the equivalent to MW2019' map design with doors
I did think about something like this ages ago, the CTs starting with the hostages and they have to go on a journey and the Ts have to stop them
Its called escape mode in 1.6, only the Ts had to escape.
