In fact If I remember correctly, the production of The Doors tried to have Hutchence as Oliver Stone's Jim Morrison. (He died in a sad and terrible way).
Been a minute since you did an INXS song! You've done many of their classics, but I think you'd also love "Suicide Blonde", "Original Sin", "Disappear", "Bitter Tears", or perhaps their very first hit single in the U.S., "The One Thing". That one was a banger! And this is now six INXS songs you've done, the most recent being their #1 hit, "Need You Tonight".

An often overlooked aspect of INXS is how incredibly well their albums were recorded. Whoever produced and mixed their albums did an awesome job. Their recordings are always very dynamic sounding.
IMHO this is BY FAR the best song INXS did and definitely my favourite INXS track. Essential driving music in the late 80's. This is still a track I listen to regularly along with "New Sensation". Just awesome, awesome music. Even now. In the 2020's. Oh yeah!
The two of you are my favorite of the first time hearing shows. Watching you is better then listening to the music, your reactions are truly original and the joy you show Is certainly genuine. In my eyes, you’re just really nice people, and you show it each and every time in words and actions. Thank you for being you.
From America. My favorite band of all time!! Saw them in person here. Front row. One of the best nights of my life. MH died 2 months later. I was beyond devastated....like so many.
The tune they were playing on the piano as the camera moved into the room was the beginning of "Never tear us apart". That was the song that had the short but passionate sax solo that Amber almost swooned over! lol :) I saw INXS in 1997 just a few months before Michael died. Such a tragic loss. Let me tell you... in 1997 his voice was just as good and just as powerful as his recorded voice in the 80's Superstar voice who's likes will never be heard again.
Jon Farriss is a beast of a drummer. He's not a background part of INXS. Personality wise, as well as musically, he's always a standout. I can't suggest enough, What You Need or Suicide Blonde Live from Wembly Stadium in 1991. Please make sure you choose the remastered version so you can enjoy this show the way we did during that tour. They were known as one of the best live bands in the world for a reason.
I also saw them twice and both shows were fantastic. I did see one of the last shows before Michaels death. Although his life was in shambles and dealing with the brain injury, his performance was just as flawless as Wembley, years before!
Good times from the lost boys soundtrack is fire!!! It’s a duet with jimmy Barnes, he is a great singer also, it’s impressive that Michael can sing toe to toe with him
INXS in my top 5 bands ever. All members are extremely talented. Michael and Andrew, the guy on the piano, wrote the songs...Andrew all the music & MIchael the lyrics. They were pretty much in the top 2-3 bands in the world. Hit after hit after hit. Saw them live once, Michael glanced at me & I screamed, "He looked at me!!" like a crazed fan, it was hilarious.
So glad you guys have discovered just how good this band was. I have loved them since "Don't Change" and it hurt pretty deeply when Michael died. If you want to see baby INXS, do "Don't Change". If you want to hear their best song that never became a hit, and that could easily be on the radio today, do "Elegantly Wasted". :-D
I love INXS, I play their greatest hits every day. love to see you do more from this group. My favorite songs are What you need and taste it. but really any song from this group is so good. so many great hits.
INXS never disappoints, one of the bands my older sister used to listen to all the time. Here's some more hits: "Spy Of Love" "Mediate" "Elegantly Wasted" "Don't Change" "Beautiful Girl" "Not Enough Time" "Kiss The Dirt (Falling Down The Mountain)" "The Stairs" "Guns In The Sky" "Heaven Sent" "Good Times" "The Strangest Party (These Are The Times)" "By My Side" "This Time" "Baby Don't Cry" "Stay Young." Have fun choosing!
Thank you for doing more INXS!!! They have soooo many good songs. Disappear, Bitter Tears. Any song from their Wembley stadium show is great. They were phenomenal live performers, Michael's vocals live are as good as any studio recording. You should try New Sensation live at Wembley, to see how they do it live.

Saw them live three times in each time was something special above and beyond. Michael can not just sing, but the guy has rhythm as well, he definitely You have to get the crowd going🙏R.I.P
I've been to about 400 concerts. I've seen The Stones, Van Halen with Roth, GnR, etc... Michael Huthcence was by far and away the most dynamic front man I've ever seen. He had 18,000 people in the palm of his hand. He was all over the stage. He put out 110%. Sound crew were on their A game. They sounded great! The band killed it. R.I.P. Michael! Gone far too soon.
Such a dynamic, sensual, magical, band. Love Michael Hutchence SO much. 😭 He was our Jim Morrison. 💕

I am so stoked you are choosing this one! Yeah, I said stoked cuz I’m an 80s chick😁
Yes, please do more INXS. So many great songs. I was lucky enough to see them live and they were amazing.
INXS has a mix of rock, funk and soul.
Rock:
The One Thing
Don't Change
Shine Like It Does
Burn For You
Suicide Blonde
Funk:
Elegantly Wasted
I Send A Message
Original Sin
Soul:
Disappear
Not Enough Time
Beautiful Girl
Amber would love all of these
Literally every track off “KICK” is absolutely perfect!
I wore the kick cassette OUT!!! it was a great album❤️
Love INXS! Saw them twice in concert way back in the day.
Love INXS, so Aussie, so cool. My all-time favourite INXS track is Good Times sung with Jimmy Barnes (former lead singer of Cold Chisel). Such an epic Aussie Anthem. Strongly recommend you put that one on your list. You won't regret it.
You should watch their live performances. They sound so good
They were mind blowing in concert when i was lucky enough at 16 to see them in london....what a sound...
Michael can wear anything! What an awesome singer. One of the best male singers of all time.
Saw them live three times in each time was something special above and beyond.
Michael can not just sing, but the guy has rhythm as well, he definitely You have to get the crowd going🙏R.I.P
1st time i heard inxs middle school MTV but it was the one thing. My class song anthem is don't change
"Don't Change"! That song is sooo good.
Early INXS..
Everytime I hear and see INXS or any other Aussie bands on any reaction channel, it makes me proud to be an Aussie!! 😎💯
