Gosh, I really respect your knowledge of Chanel. It's awesome being a nerd/an expert on a topic and your explanations of all the launches were super helpful and digestible to a layman (me). I personally really appreciated the sublimage concealer and the tweed quads!

I'm a 62 yr. old who has been wearing Chanel makeup for 36 years, always eagerly awaiting the next launch. You do such a great job explaining everything. Ahh I loved this video! And completely agree the Mediterranean palette, le beige bronzer, and liquid bronzer were the best things this year. That said, I discovered their lipsticks and their nail polish and now I’m OBSESSED!! I would love for you to do a review on their liquid lipsticks. I still need to pick up the Mademoiselle oil.

Absolutely loved this video Erin, I really love Chanel makeup and beauty and appreciate you doing this collection of the year in Chanel! My favourites of the year were the Tweed eye quads, I also bought the 01 and 04, and earlier in the year I also picked up the Mediteranean eye quad which is lovely. I haven't yet tried the Paris-Paris perfume but will shortly in my quest for a new Christmas perfume. Thank you once again xo

I really enjoyed this video. The Tweed collection was my favorite and I’m looking forward to the blushes! I am hoping for the beige shade because I stupidly passed on it when it originally came out.
I loooooove the Chanel lip balm and creme blush in the same color it’s so natural and pretty 😍😍🥰 I also loved the Paris Paris perfume and lotion it smells just like a Barbie perfume I had as a kid lol I like it.
Love your channel! Can you please do a 'how to choose an eye shadow palette for your skin tone' tutorial with recommendations? I feel like you would be a great person to do this with your experience working in Chanel. I recently bought a new eye shadow palette and everything looks orange on me! Not sure if it's the quality of the palette or that I didn't choose the right palette for my skin tone. So I think this would be really helpful for me :) thanks and happy holidays!

I have the Mediterranean palette, it is subtle and gorgeous and classy. I also have an old blusher from the year before Fleur du Printemps which is gorgeous! Plus the WaterFresh foundation 🙋♀️🇬🇧

Beautiful presentation, I really enjoyed it. My favorite of the year is not a new launch but new to me, the Radiant Moisture foundation, the one that was just 3 or 4 shades. I’m combo/oily and don’t usually go for Radiant or Moisture, but I’m a little dry in the winter and ordered a bottle, it is Stunning! The best foundation EVER, I like it better than the Sublimage. Ordered a backup from Harrods and have a feeling they are discontinuing it. My next favorite is the Tendre Pink Les Beiges glow powder that we did not get in the states, I ordered it from overseas, beautiful finishing powder. Then the nail polishes from fall, Emotion looks different depending on the lighting, it’s pink in bluish light, and brown in warm light, brilliant. Finally, the Shimmering Amber top coat, I may order a backup of this. I bought it to try and salvage 893 Glimmer polish from two summers ago, which is a gloppy, uneven polish that looks horrible, clings to the cuticles and is streaky no matter how many coats I use. The Shimmering Amber corrects the uneven Glimmer shade, making it look smooth. I highly recommend this top coat for pale polishes that don’t look good, to help use them up. The shimmer top coat looks nice on red polish like Vamp, dresses up my toes for the holidays. ❤
I didn’t see anyone suggest to use a lip brush (or short eyeshadow brush) for the pot instead of a nail! Love your recs. Rewatching before purchasing.
I really enjoyed this video. What a great idea to review a year of Chanel launches. My favourite was Spring Summer and I wish the Eye palette was permanent. I do think that the pricing is got out of control in the second half of the year, particularly the new lipsticks and mascara. Also, the fact you can still buy the tweed eyeshadows kind of confirms they got too greedy
I love the enigma nail color so pretty 😍 especially in tan skin but works on any skin tone I got the orange tweed quad but so sad I missed out on the burgundy and gold fall eyeshadow quad. I wish the would make it permanent ☺️
I was in love with the idea of those tweed eye palettes. I bought your 2 favorites, but I was glad I bought them from a department store, because I returned mine. I wore Cuivre D'Or to an important evening event, used NARS primer under it, but none the less, it wore off in patches by the end of the evening. I didn't find out until I got home and got ready to take my makeup off. Just horrible quality. None of my other high end palettes would have worn off like that. If Chanel wants my money for eyeshadow they need better quality products, not just a fancy pouch. I did buy as many of those nude nail and lip colors as you did though. Big Winner! I want colors like those in Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. And I love the Paris-Paris. But they need more layering products so it doesn't disappear in an hour. I'd buy an Intense version tomorrow. First I need to say that you look gorgeous (as always but maybe even more) in this video. Love how luminescent you make up looks. From the pieces you selected I love the Camelia highlighter even if I don't use as uch I thought. I'm not really used to highlighter and I don't really know how to take profit of it. But the piece is so beautiful that I still love I purchased it. My evanescence nailpolish it's probably the item I've done the most use of all the 2022 purchases...and now, paired with the golden top coat Étoilé... I just don't use other thing.

Loved that Chanel did such elegant nudes in 2022. They were a must have! However, I would love to see how gorgeous the berry expansion would be because the lip liners are already there.
My favorite Chanel beauty purchases this year were the Les Beiges Oversize Healthy Glow Sun-Kissed Powder in Sunbath - Deep and Les Beiges Bronzing Cream in shade 395. ❤❤
Oh! And my favorite launch was the Chanel holiday gift sets launch. Even though it took me several weeks and a little bit more money to get my hands on one of these (I have the Cleansing routine set) since they did not launch in Europe this year :/

Hey Erin. I made my first Chanel purchases this year. I got the Holiday quad and the Rouge Ombre lip Laque for my birthday. I'm loving both. That beautiful highlighter was a limited edition. Based on your experience, do you think Chanel will come out with a similar product next year? That formula sounds just perfect; and I have the same coloring as you do.

I am obsessed with the les beiges Illuminating oil! I use it in my hair sparingly and it’s phenomenal. Did Chanel ever make a fragrance with the les beiges scent? If so I would love to buy it. I figured if anyone would know it would be you!
It might be worth taking the mascara back and exchanging it with a new one. It could be that your tube was end of line insertion which if clumping immediately tells me something is wrong in the tube.
Erin, I know you thought Chanel was trying to cut corners with Le Extrait lip, but I loved the slimmer design and never had to touch up my lipstick! Ironically, the only thing I didn’t like was not having a case for every shade I bought. I also love the new Coco Mademoiselle spray oil. It is going to be a Christmas gift from my husband this year. The shimmering gel lotion in Mademoiselle is beautiful but I’m not one to bare very much of my skin so I won’t be buying it. Merry Christmas!

They release 50 ml bottles of Les Eaux a year after the fragrance is launched. Still not a travel size, yeah, but much smaller than the original 125ml:)
hi erin! so i wear b30 in the regular water fresh tint and its a tad too dark in winter. i just bought bd21 in the complexion touch. do you think mixing them would work??

I wanted to, but I just couldn’t buy the Coco body gel…..I’m a big fan of the fragrance, but I have other shimmer type products I could buy for that purpose….
The new concealer is soooo nice but i wish the shade range was better ....i really struggled and had to depot some to mix a blue colour corrector in it was just either so warm (which is fine where im blue in the inner corner of my eye) or too light / yellowy
Also that new mascara was straight up trash lol i was lucky i got a sample but it was terrible. I think it was the wand that made it 10000x worse too
It felt like they didn’t put any in the tube. Dry
I think the worst from Chanel this year is the latest holiday collection(not all but most of it):
-Ombres De Lune quad - too orange/pumpkin with no dimension, it just look bad for most people
- Multi-Use Illuminating Eye Gloss - sticky, ruin makeup, totally useless and low quality
- Oversize Illuminating Face Powder- too big and too dark (both shades) for all people with fair or medium complexion. The fact you put it on your shoulders it doesn’t mean that everybody will do the same and it doesn’t make it a good product.

The Noir Allure mascara in my opinion is ok. I have a little one and so far so good. Maybe the normal size is not good but I think I’ll give it a try.
I tried in the store the new concealer and is good but the package is terrible. If they will change this I will consider to buy. I love Le correcteur de Chanel concealer and i’ll stick with this one.
I have Brun et Rose (I bought 2) and I think the tweed collection was the best for this year but I agree with you about the price. In Australia the price for one palette was $140 and you have 2g of product.
Overall I love the brand and I can’t wait too see what the new creative directors will do in years to come.

The Noir Allure mascara - the WORST!. Gorgeous packaging suckered me in. Clumpy, messy, just awful.
Chanel mascara, what's a fail... Smells so strange and, it feels isn't new... It feels more dry than other mascaras of chanel, but I like that mascara take care of my lashes, they are more longer and fat. At the end I prefer le volume for special moments and I just have to waste the new on my everyday, but I really hate that smells
