I’ve definitely decluttered because at the end of the day, I just wear what makes me feel the most natural in, so that way I get more use and appreciate them more! To me it doesn’t matter what the value of an item is, what it’s WORTH. If it feels good, looks good, then that’s all that matters because a foundation should perform it’s best if you want to use them all the time. 🙌🏻

I'm retired and so I don't normally need a foundation that lasts all day since I'm not working. Truthfully, it's more important for me to have a foundation that's a good shade match for me and has a texture that makes my skin look good. I'm really loving the new CT Beautiful Skin and the Chanel CC cream and Water Fresh Tint.
I had Bobbi Brown foundation as well, and exactly as you said: " hate used it up". One was starting to smell funky, 30% left so I am getting rid of it.
Have you ever tried the Pat McGrath foundation? I am surprised it's not in your collection. Some people think that it looks the same on the skin as the Chanel no.1.

You can actually make your foundations last a lot longer by storing them in the fridge when not in use. And also do sanitize the nozzle after each use so extra foundation is not clogging up and runs back into the bottle with bacteria after use. Foundations are my favourite make up product and I test most that comes to the market if its in my foundation preferance. I do own more than 80 different ones, counting all the different shades in each one, as I have most of my favourites in at least 2 shades to take me from winter to summer skin tone. As I change skin tone quite a bit from summer (medium to tan) to winter (light) due to use of self tan, and also prefer different formulas summer and winter, I keep all my summer base products (yes, also concealer and other cream products as bronzers/blushes) in the fridge during winter and opposite in summer. I think my oldest foundations must be around 4-5 years old, and they still both smell, look and perform excellent and just as my new ones. Also I do think that expiration dates are put to makeup products much to manufacturers fear of getting into problems, and brands eagerness to sell more. I would never declutter a perfectly good and almost full foundation that was 18 months old, if the look and smell and performance is still good, just because it says 12 months on the bottle.

I used to swear by Teint Idole! It's been a few years since I've worn it but it was a "holy grail" for a long time. I need to revisit Lancome foundations! xx

I was told it’s a supply chain issue. Chanel is struggling with inventory for some of their staple products. It shouldn’t be discontinued, they’re just waiting to restock! Xx

It's always so hard to declutter products you love. I feel the pain! I recently decluttered some blushes and lipsticks that had just gone bad. My favorite foundations I'm using right now are Givenchy's Prisme Libre Foundation, Dior's Capture Totale Super Potent Serum Foundation and Estée Lauder's Re-Nutriv Foundation. I like the N°1 Foundation by Chanel too and want to add it to my collection x
I think it’s once they are opened! If you pump the bottle and let air in the timer starts ticking. You’re probably safe if they aren’t opened but I would still not hold onto them for years and years xx

Hey, love your channel! We wear similar foundation shades so can I just ask if you were to purchase the nars soft matte again would you get it in Sahel again or Santa Fe? I’m demented trying to get a match and like you in the light reflecting I can make a lot of shades work but I’m nervous about the soft matte shades as it’s full coverage. Thanks!

That is a lot of foundation! Instead of keeping empty bottles why not take photos and add your comments to a spreadsheet with purchase dates etc. you should even log each one as you purchase it etc. Hope you have an assistant!!
I do think who love Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless foundation hold a secret we ,poor mortals, are not aloud to know ! I hate this foundation so much ! It breaks in my face like rubber, sit in my pores , like little white dotes ! If some of the beauty goddesses want share this secret I’ll be very much glad !
How interesting! That's what happened to me with Armani Power Fabric, I have no idea what causes it! Some foundations seem to sink straight into the pores lol I haven't had that problem with the CT but maybe a good primer would do the trick? xx

I wouldn't say it made me angry but it's an easy way to decide which bottle to declutter out of the three. Every time I grabbed the bottle by the cap it would fall and hit the glass vanity top. Is it a huge deal? No. Is it frustrating? Absolutely!
