What it is, is politics as usual, Judges are essentially politicians, They run for office in the lower courts like a politician. In the upper courts they are political appointees.......so. Often, if they have the legal leeway, They can rule in such a manner as to pander to whatever opinion is most popular. At the same time, contributing to, and failing to see the obvious hypocrisy in our legal system. We pay lawyers to make laws.....Then we pay layers to twist the meaning of the language, or find legal loopholes in the law....So we can pay lawyers to write new laws.

Its about preserving it as a piece of history, So our descendants can learn about it, What its design meant to confederates. What principals it stood for, and most importantly, Why it is a part of our past and not our future as a nation. Those that forget the lessons of history are bound to repeat it. At this point in the midterms, the candidates would be at the point where they would begin pivoting their platform and rhetoric towards the center in order to convince their base that they are all about taxing the rich or letting them know what pork barrel projects are on the horizon. This time it's all about Trump. Their current rhetoric may not appeal to the voters that , because of FDR, they will only vote democrat. They stand ,in my opinion, as one of the best series ever written hands down. I read them all to my grandson when he was younger and now at 16 he still views them as memorable. So sad.

My daughter just delivered my first granddaughter. She was taken very early by C-section due to complications. Her lungs was of course under developed, but other wise alright. I just got to hold her for the first time, and I'm in love. How could that child not have a right to live life?
