But no one is asking the jury to just believe Cohen…that only fools Fox viewers. For virtually everything Cohen said, they had an independent witness, financial record, audio of the conversation, etc. supporting that it was true.
And your point is the old mafia boss trick. You order a henchman to do your dirty work, then when they get caught, say “I had just NO IDEA what my employee was up to! And it’s coincidence it benefitted only me!”
So the legal system has the henchman testify that the boss ordered him, and the boss’ lawyer says “you can’t trust that guy…he is a convicted mafia henchman!”
But that doesn’t fool everyone…

Cohen pleaded guilty in November 2018 to lying to congress several times during testimony about a planned Trump business project in Moscow. That project was dropped during 2016, as the presidential campaign ramped up.
In a separate case, in December 2018 Cohen pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion one count of defrauding a bank (false information on a loan application), and two charges of campaign finance violations (re: payments to McDougal and Daniels).
Cohen was fined $50,000, required to pay $1.4 million restitution and forfeit another $500,000... sentenced to 4 years in prison (only served one, then served gone confinement for 3 years). And, bo surprise, he lost his license to practice law.
Cohen brought suit against the Trymp organization, asking them to cover his fi ancillary losses. That case was dismissed. However, the Trump org. did pay $1.7 million of his legal expenses, as well as some smaller payments.
Their star witness has already lied under oath. He got disbarred and went to prison. This is their guy. Wow.

As was pecker. Did u hear his testimony? Then the checks etc. They proved intent n paper trail B4 Cohen even took the stand. So it doesn't matter.
Your comment is just the old mafia boss tactic. The mafia boss orders a crime, and if the henchman he asked to do the crime gets caught, the boss can say “I had just NO idea what my own employee was up to, and it’s a coincidence the crime benefitted only me.”
So the courts get the henchman to testify that the boss told him to commit the crime. Then the boss’ lawyer says “you can’t trust that guy….he is a convicted mafia henchman!!!”
But no one is asking the jury to just trust Cohen, despite Fox using that as their straw man argument. For virtually everything Cohen said, there was other, independent evidence that supported it. Like if Cohen said he discussed setting up a shell company under a fake name with Trump…there is audio of that. If Cohen said he took out a 130k loan….bank records show that, etc.
He's not the star witness. That was Peckman, the first to testify to the WHOLE PLAN. Donnie's friend.
What crime ? There is no crime.

Did I miss something? The case was proven w the paper trail n pecker. Michael wasn't the first testimony.
Bet you that this “perjury” never gets prosecuted. Which is odd since Republicans are half the population (and of the legal system), and they easily could push for prosecution if they had evidence.
The real reason Fox and Trump are constantly talking of crimes, corruption, etc. which amount to nothing is that they have zero evidence of a crime, and lies and emotion only work outside a courtroom.
I despise Cohen and would love to see him get more prison time, but he won’t….because this is all Fox spin and twisted half-truths that has you fooled.
Check back in a year and you can see that Cohen won’t be convicted of perjury at this trial, because there is no evidence, and even Fox says they are like the National Enquirer running fake stories for entertainment that no one really believes (Fox lawyers said that in court).

Cohen said he discussed the hush money situation with Trump on this call.
Blanche said he didn't. But he didn't provide any evidence that proves Cohen didn't.
However, is Blanche saying Cohen NEVER spoke to Trump on the phone about the hush money
situation with Daniels BEFORE the election?
Or is Blanche saying Cohen did discuss it with Trump BEFORE the election, but just on a different call?

Trump lost by over 7 million votes in 2020, then along came January 6th and he incited a riot, followed by the January6th House Committee investigation, then he was indicted 4 times on 91 charges, then he lost civil lawsuits in NY to the tune of 83 and 354 million respectively, then he was labelled as an insurrectionist and violator of the Constitution, along came the recent GOP primaries where he did not perform as well as a one time president should have, in fact lost Vermont. So, how can he win the election in November when he lost thousands of votes in the last three years. Well, he can't, in fact he will get destroyed at the ballot box by Biden, case closed!
Maybe when he gets out of jail he can build that tower in Moscow and you can meet him
