Hey Sean, great video and tool, is the bolt bottoming out inside the cam establishing the final depth of the seal? It appeared to be the case, or are you just watching for the seal to even up with the front plane of the head casting?
Hey p2r i have a question? What is the best way too make hp for the j32a2? Is it going all ported on tye upper half or just doing the j35 crank and all the rest of tye motor? I would like to just do the top end and stay with stock internals
I'm not sure I like this. If you're trying to do a TB job and are replacing the cam seals incidentally, I don't want the cams moving around once the belt is off. By threading a bolt into the camshaft like that and torquing it, it would allow it to rotate and lose time. You could of course put it back, but for the less experienced, that could be an issue.
Well you could buy it just because it’s the right size for the camshaft seal and use a rubber mallet to tap on the p2r tool and the seal will slide in.
Find out socket 3/4” drive that fit diameter seal and a long bolt fit camshaft . That all for the job .
