HOW TO PREPARE YOUR VEHICLE FOR WINTER CONDITIONS

How to prepare you and your car to drive in winter. Winter conditions can impede your progress when driving and taking some precautions can help prevent getting into difficulty.
Driving in winter brings its hazards, and more preparation of just your vehicle, but the driver and occupants too.
In this video, we share some simple and accessible items you can carry, in case of slow progress or you become stranded and have to spend time in your car.
Some suggestions of kit you might want to pack in your car. Please add your tips in the comments.
1. Snow chains of snow socks
2. Snow shovel
3. Flask with hot water
4. Sleeping bag or warm blanket
5. Food and snacks
6. Torch
7. Warm clothes, including a waterproof jacket and trousers, hat, and gloves.
8. Walking boots
9. Microspikes
10. Spare Winter screen wash
11. Bag or grit / Rock salt
12. Phone charger
13. Tow rope
14. Jump leads
15. Power pack to charge your phone and to preserve your vehicle battery.
16. Also make sure you’ve enough fuel in the car too, maybe keep above 1/2 a tank in winter conditions?
