The Stephanie McMahon conversation in Here Comes the Pain works in multiple different ways based on your superstar status. If you're a face, with superstar points of 80+ in the main event, and in a storyline. She actually won't mind if you seduce her, but reminds your character that you two should keep the relationship 'professional' for the time being and that you should focus your attention on the superstar you're fighting that night and is making sure you're prepared. You then receive a superstar point for being encouraged. She only hates being seduced if you're a heel I believe, and if you're an undercard low tier wrestler she will receive a phone call instead of talking to you which leads to not good result either way no matter which option you choose.
So, you're saying Triple H - who was running roughshod on RAW with his "Reign of Terror" at the time in real life - would've been a de facto face had he transferred to Smackdown (which he did briefly, only to be immediately traded back to RAW for both Booker T & the Dudley Boyz), per the rules of actively scoring with the boss's daughter, according to WWE videogame logistics?

@@easy_nator_gamer8498 Title opportunity, you mean. Title shot is one of Vince's BANNED words/phrases, even though he used to say it himself when he was an active on-screen character in the 1980's-2000's.
For example, it was used extensively in the build up to Taker VS Rock at KOTR '99.
Vince: "So, you want a SHOT at the Undertaker at King of the Ring for the WW* title? No problem. Just this little hitch: Tonight, in this very ring, in a non-title match, you must be victorious. You must win the match, Rock, tonight, in order to get your TITLE SHOT at the King of the Ring!"
~Rock cuts a promo on the heels in the lead-up to his scheduled match, but Shane shows up on-stage just as the promo ended & Rock was about to leave the ring to his theme music playing~
Shane: "Cut The Rock's music! Since this is a night of stipulations, we have a stipulation for you this evening in your match between you & the Undertaker. And Rock, you'll find you exactly what that stipulation is 5 minutes before you come out, if you smell what the Macs are cookin'. Now, hit The Rock's music."
It ended up being a Triple Threat that included Undertaker's Corporate Ministry stablemate Triple H & when HHH came to Chyna's aid when she accidentally tripped Undertaker when Rock reversed an Irish Whip to sow dissent among the Corporate Ministry, HHH dropped to the floor from the apon upon hitting an Arm Breaker hangman's spot to stop the Undertaker from pulling Chyna into the ring by her hair & Undertaker soon thereafter staggered into a Rock Bottom/People's Elbow double finisher combo & during the latter, HHH tried climbing back in, but Rock's rope bounce/momentum boost once again knocked Triple H to the floor & Chyna was unable to stop the pin in time, allowing Rock to make it to his bout at KOTR, which he lost, all thanks to HHH running down to hit a Pedigree on him during a ref bump before the "People's Champ" was immediately drilled with the Tombstone Piledriver with follow-up pin to keep the title in the Corporate Ministry's hands.
I remember Raw 2. For some damn reason my character was enemies with Carlito and Trish Stratus who would interfere in litterally every god damn match I was having

To me the worst thing was being replaced in a special referee match. The whole point of being a special referee is to be able to attack, not count pinfalls for an enemy, do a fast count on an ememy, or just let anything go.
I do agree with that like I find it more annoying since I loved sabotaging my bitter enemy as a Referee
But not doing it too much.. If you're just whaling on the guy, you should get replaced.. Makes the game more realistic

Well, they did have some sort of a storyline in 1999 where the referees had a strike due to the superstars assaulting them and in the ppv unforgiven, almost all of the matches had special guest referees like harvey whippleman, tom prichard and steve austin with jim korderas as the exception

It's even funnier that it happens in 2k14 too. In Special Ref match you get the same scene but John is invisible... because he just wasn't in the game at all. It was just ref standing akwardly lol Devs just forgot.

I loved GM mode. It's unfortunate that no one else ever played it.
Sometimes nerding out over number crunching is simultaneously funny and entertaining, but that would require having a brain, so I can understand.
I remember one of the older games that if you hit the reff you would get DQ'ed but only if he catches you so if you ran away from him you wouldn't get DQ'ed 😂
Also, attack him once too often & the minute your opponent catches you off-guard with their finisher, the ref literally screws you by fast-counting you down.

In Smackdown for the PSX, when you created a character you had the option at some points to attack people backstage and such. If you did it enough times, other wrestlers would jump in and save the person you were attacking. It would also make you enemies with them. Cool feature.

I believe it was RAW for SNES if you punched the ref too many times he’d leave the match and it’d become a brawl.
Did it on the Mega Drive version too. I think I'm correct in saying it also occasionally happened in Royal Rumble.

I think Randy Orton should randomly appear at ringside, climb on the table, run around with the ring steps, annoy the camera men and get dragged away by security as a gimmick. Would actually make him interesting.
Guess what? I played the season mode of HCTP. After winning matches, I decided to do a post match attacks and then go backstage to talk to the superstar I attacked last week and selected “Bring It On!” to be defiant.

Wwf raw for the snes you could run into the ref knocking him over making it a no holds barred match until the ref gets up... Do it a few times and the ref walks out, the winner is then the last person with health. You could also knock the ref over whilst he tries to leave at which point he will get up and no longer be able to leave and continues to walk into the side of the ring..

The cool thing is on Special Referee for WWE 13, if you’re a different gender than the ones in the match (such as male), and the opponents are female, attacking any female once will immediately and completely drain your Special Referee bar.

I have had a couple of these happen to me, on HCTP and SVR and I have had the referee grab and bearhug an attacking superstar.
I don't really pick the post match attack in Smackdown: HCTP season mode, because those don't always go as planned.
Sometimes in SVR HCTP when you attack a superstar after the match you get beat up instead

I used to let my step dad win by doing fast counts when he pin people and when he gets pin I do the slowest one ever and on two I stopped and if he is in trouble I would hit my finisher on his enemy
