- In WWE Games that matches that are planned to happen will usually happen. However there's been some rare moments in WWE games were a match has been cancelled for a whole bunch of reasons.

Let's not forget the time on SVR 2011 during the Raw after the Royal Rumble where you won the opportunity to face the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. You are originally put in a match against Jack Swagger but then it was canceled due to the Undertaker getting in your head and Stephanie began to worry about you because of it and she gave you the night off.
How I know about this is that once you go to Swagger after having the conversation with Stephanie, he'll mention on that he beat the guy who is about to get beat by the Undertaker at Wrestlemania
then the backstage area(which is

The Edge/Maria hospital scene is one of my favorites I ever wrote/directed.
And the logistics of it, working with Yuke’s under our budget restraints, was quite a feat.

Edge's match wasn't cancelled, he rolled up Kennedy to end the match right after Maria fell and won. The bell literally rang before the button prompt.
There were 8 matches that were canceled, the three you’re missing are the match between John Cena vs. The Undertaker at the very beginning of WWE ‘12 Road To WrestleMania for Sheamus, a match between Jacob Cass vs. Daniel Bryan of WWE ‘12 Road To WrestleMania for Jacob Cass, and finally a Tag Team Match between Jacob Cass and Randy Orton vs. Arn Anderson and Animal of once again WWE ‘12 Road To WrestleMania of Jacob Cass.
