I remember that SvR 2006 Rumble storyline. I lost that match, and the "restart the match, the winner cheated" cutscene played. Problem is, the winner was the No. 1 entrant.

3:06 This reminds me of New Legacy Inc's Kane playthrough where RVD "won" the rumble by switching numbers. The problem is that RVD was the 2nd entrant in the rumble. Also when Vince selected six superstars for the restart, RVD was in it despite being personally disqualified by Vince, also Kane changed into his 1997 attire when Vince restarted the rumble.

Great to see these videos again. One case of being made to look like an idiot is in Here Comes the Pain where you face off against a superstar who's not usually qualified for the World Title - then one week you'll be forced to lose a match against them because you got beaten up before it.
The first time I had to face christian and edge by myself without Eugene I did the rko to Christian then edge came out of nowhere and tried to hit me but somehow just stood there so I did the roll up and somehow won but considering Eric bischoff canceled it off I was happy and devastated at the same time then I had another match but this time it was me and Eugene against Christian and edge but in a tlc match for the titles and won

What about in Day of Reckoning 1 when during a US Title/Intercontinental Title Number Contender match against Batista/Booker T and Triple H/Undertaker who kicked your opponent out of Evolution/New Ministry of Darkness the previous week asks you to use a weapon as "you'll not only punish your former faction-mate, but get the easy win" however you get screwed over as not only do you lose via DQ but Randy Orton/Big Show gets automatically named number 1 contender and wins what should've been your mid-card title match to win via dirty tactics, and to further emphasize you being a colossal idiot Batista/Booker T warns you a couple hours before said Number 1 Contender Match that your faction leader isn't to be trusted.
That's a good one!

The one thing I've always hated in WWE games is that you are always forced to play the Good guy in Story modes. Wanna play as Edge during SVR07? Suddenly Edge is the good guy while Cena is teaming with Umaga
In Smackdown vs Raw 2007 - in the "Behind every great man", the player is made to look like an idiot after toiling hard in a ladder match to retain his WWE Championship against Chris Masters, only for Trish to ruin the match and grav the belt for herself..... This should also have been in this list.....
