Two questions 1. Is it sufficient for a room of size 20 x 22 feet ? 2. Please explain the use of RCA signal out given at the back and adjacent to RCA signal in. I didn't get what u said in the video. Thanks.
Sorry but i want to ask should i use this as a standalone subwoofer for my sony bravia tv or should i just get a soundbar with subwoofer at the same price ? Thanks
Thanks for the review. I'm considering one of these for a 2.1 TV audio system and that will also provide "background" music in a combined kitchen / living room of ~20x33' with 9' ceilings. Doesn't every have to play loud, just clean, so it should be fine. I like the option of RCA pass-through, something most subs at any price seem to lack, since I might want to use a little K2020A amp for the main Neumi BS5s. That gives me the ability to go 2.1 with just the headphone out on the TV, the simplest set-up possible. Yes, a very economical system so I can afford to replace parts if some guest accidentally blows it up. Not unprecedented.
I have 2 of these subwoofers, they are nice but the auto standby/sleep function is very annoying since the subwoofer will turn off when playing at low volume. You have to increase the volume to wake it up again. I read there's a way to stop auto standby, it requires soldering a wire onto the internal relais, didn't try this myself.
3.5mm output of PC to Sub woofer (3.5mm male to RCA, Left and right cable) > RCA L&R to Bookshelf speaker RCA L&R. Adjust the knobs as your choice. Hope it helps.
@@SeanTalksTech I had already ordered mine and was just watching reviews to pass the time until it arrived. I received it earlier today and am pretty pleased with how it sounds
@EduanSteenkamp the say it can. First you need (pc , cp, etc.) a 3.5mm jack to 2rca cable - t5 input then connect the mr4 via 2rac to 2rca from the t5 rca output.
Thanks for your suggestion. I will try to improve. I had some comments saying I spoke too draggy in the past so I try to speak with less pause. I’ll try to find a balance. Appreciate your comment 🙏🏽
Great video, thinking about getting one of these..
Thank you! I think they are quite good. I’m still using it today 😄

Paired this with my Edifier R1280DBs speaker, sounds really good connected to my Sony TV
How do these compare with a subwoofer to a 350 or 360 DB?

Decent speakers, Thanks for posting this video Sean!
Thanks for the support my friend!
I got this one and i say it's crazy powerful and clear at the same time for that price! I added my T5 to my Teufel Ultima 40 and it's really crazy 🤯.

Edifier speakers are generally excellent in sound and when playing vocals! As well as for example S1000MK2 and S3000MK2, etc.!
I thinking about that sub for my Edifier R1280DBs. It's worth it ? My room is not big. 🙄
well explain, was planning qr65 or s2000 mk3 and to match the sub woofer
I have this exact setup and its awesome!
Nice glad you’re enjoying them! 😄
What is the bass knob setting on your desktop speaker? Just wanna know how to approach lpf on the sub.
Do you recommend pairing it with audioengine a1?
Just got the QR 65 does the T5 come with the cable needed to connect the sub to the speaker ?
Hello, yeap, the T5 comes with the cables required. =D
Yes
Sean.. may u share with me.. there are 2 knob back there at t5.. how was your setting?

Hey Sean, great video! I just have a quick question. Would this be compatible with my Edifier Luna speakers?
Whats the matchong mid high speaker for this?
Is it as good as Harman Kardon Soundticks 4 or at least almost the same?
how do you know what sub can be used for the edifier QR65
Yea I’m using this setup now with the QR65
@SeanTalksTech same the T5 sub I paid with will he here today
the punch it gives is insane
Sounds really nice with the bass kicking in!
@SeanTalksTech how do you think it compares to the 360 DB?
@@MrDman333 His set up with qr65 would deliver a much more detailed and powerful sound than 360db.
Hi, how well it does below 60Hz?
this subwoofer is 38hz- to i dont know but 38-hz is minum what u can setup u can eq from back of subwoofer
so i think it will kick pretty well
I've Vizio 5.1.2 soundbar (SB36512-F6) with no sub out.
Can i attach this T5 subwoofer to soundbar?
If its 5.1.2 it already has a subwoofer. 5 surround sound midrange/tweeter drivers, 1 subwoofer driver, and 2 above head midrange/tweeter drivers

Just bought it. What's your setting for the LPF?
60hz
Hi i am not very techy so how exactly do i hook these up together and to my desktop PC ? please help lol thank you in advance cheers from Canada

Does signal out send full range sound? Or filter low end and send mids and high's? I mean does it have crossover inbuilt?
I want to make sure of it.
Nope
My subwoofer broke for my living room do you think this would be loud enough for movies
Nice! Would probably also make a good companion to the Edifier G2000.
Yeah you’re right! It fits nicely with the sub out! Good one
can this be paired with MR3?
Yes
I have it and I think its boomy AF. I ordered a separate equlizer to tone it down because its too much - but given the price everything is forgiven.
Can you name the model of the EQ?
I didn't know you could buy a physical equalizer, i use equalizer apo but want to know what equalizer did you use
I tried to comment 2 times already that I bought an external EQ from aliexpress but it keeps getting deleted
@@madvada i just got this sub and i think it's pretty flat, set your lpf to 80 hz
@@madvada also, put a sock on the subwoofer port to seal it
Very nice review thank you
Thank you my friend. Hope it was useful

those t5 subwoofer is compatible to the other device or sound bar?
ua-cam.com/video/5M2FV21ipmY/v-deo.html
no LFE input?
Hi,i have mr4 can i connect to t5?
I have the same question. I think it's possible via the RCA cables bit not sure

I have Edifier R1855DB, I'm ordering it tomorrow. 😑
I also have the speakers and I was using them with a Harman / Kardon sub that I really like, but it keeps breaking. Hows the T5 paired with the 1855s?
Is it punchy or boomy? Watching video, it seems boomy...
Just get the svl sb1000 it can not be beaten 😬😬
😊👍👍
Thank you my friend!
No low n no deep bass
Wow I’m curious to know what do you normally listen to if this also don’t qualify as low and deep bass 😅
Yeah and I’m curious to know how bad is yours ear 🤣🤣🤣
This sub declares 38 Hz and up is not deep bass. Read before buying and comenting. 🙂 Don't expect deep bass with these Hz 😑
Still waiting for my t5 to arrrived.. wanna hook my edifier mr4 to it.
Many songs don't have bass below 30-35Hz so you don't miss much.
I wish you can have some pause for the sentence, coz sounds like a machine guns to me😅 not very comfortable to listen the way you speak.
