I worked for 4 years for a Fish importer. I have never seen Discus in that good of shape out of the bags. You are doing an amazing job. Can't wait to see more.

Still have discus from you guys from years back, would love to have wilds but here in Colorado seems like it would be quite the task to keep the water parameters for these guys. Great video!
Ditto here in West Texas. Water is just too hard. Maybe one day I'll retire and be able to take on fish keeping full time...

@@JackWattleyDiscus I did that, and I lost almost 200 discus, I used 1gm per 80 gallons, and salt, I put at night and they are dead in the morning, a friend sent it to me from Malaysia, everything was fine Gabe, ph 7.3 temperature 85, low ppm, air was fine, I have no idea what I Did wrong, I’m scared now to do anything with them

Incredible fish!! I need a cheaper hobby cuz I hafta have a wild caught Discus the size of a dinner plate.
I would absolutely rather handle my fish with my hand vs a net. Nets damage spines. Nets scratch. When I get your fish in they are always transferred to quarantine then to the show tank by hand.

That's a narrow way to look at things. Had it not been for the wilds we would not be breeding anything. Option 2 they become food for the natives. You decide now that you know the truth.
We should be buying more wilds actually, it helps the locals live and survive and also helps the environment
