Cory and @chrislukhaup visited the Europa Discus Center, a fish store that only breeds and sells discus (and happens to be part of the owner's house). Find out how the owner automates all the systems so that he can manage taking care of so many discus all by himself.

Red panda
Spotted leopards
Marlboro reds
Red cover is awesome
I love love Discus. Would be terrified to try to have them.
If you don't mind changing water, you have a good chance to be successful.
Don't be scared. Stick to the rules. Don't buy rubbish from everywhere. They aren't difficult. Get the right advice. Try and keep to one supplier.
I cannot help myself when it comes to Discus. I absolutely love them and have spent thousands of Dollars on them in the past. I do not have many anymore due to a smaller Aquatic space. Maybe more Discus in the near future. My personnel favorites are Reds and Spotted varieties. Thank you for sharing :)
Amazing all the way through. I like the grin on the guy as he prepared to answer your questions perfectly.
My mom really likes discus, so one of these days I want to make a discus tank for her. I just need to find where the floor is strongest so I can get a big enough tank for them.
Echt eine Spitzenanlage für Diskus mit lauter tollen, gesunden Tieren! 👍
Remarkable. I'm sure it took a lot of planning, trial and error. Fantastic that it's set up the way it is allowing him to manage everything himself. Anyone looking to set up a breeding facility, or even a smaller hobby breeder could learn a lot from him. this was really interesting.
pretty nice! I think you’ve been to Gabes at Jack Wattley Discus, I still feel he has the best, most prestigious set up, especially at his new location. His knowledge is second to none and he loves to tell it all. Please visit and document the new location!
Seeing all the color morphs is cool but I appreciate the wild types more.
What a watch!! Discus are on another level, beautiful set up that dude got
I love discus! I hope to have them one day, but I don’t feel experienced enough yet. Thanks for showing us such a cool breeder.
Discus are beautiful. Maybe someday I will try them out.
I watched a tour of this place on another youtube channel and his back yard is beautifully landscaped with bonsai trees. He's got a very nice property and takes good care of everything, as you can see in the video
Coralfish 12g I believe
At 2:50 i believe corey meant 12 inches not 12 feet, 😂😅
That was awesome. thanks for sharing. Those fish were amazing. The fish room was great. I turned a lot.
What a smart facility. And quite small too. I can't believe he's able to raise enough stock from a facility of that size. His business would be much bigger if he would scale up, since he requires a minimal of labor.
That was amazing. Greatly organized and efficient.
Aw man this is my version of heaven
The Cheetos and the ones that look like the Sun are fantastic. Unfortunately, short of hitting the powerball I won't ever have any Discus.
Beautiful fish and facility. Really shows good examples of perfect discus growout and breeding setups. Nice and clean water and minimalistic. People wanting discus should take notes! :)
I really really appreciate this video thanks brotha .. thanks for all your hard work 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
I still say Jack Wattley🥰 discus has some of the best quality and colors available in the line!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wonderful place. Fascinating technology. To a target a specific Ph value..will need a Ph controller calibrated to achieve the desired Ph value with the buffering capacity to retain the Ph parameter. It's complicated and costly. It's more important to keep them in stable values than seek a specific value adding chemicals to the water.
Those discus look fantastic.
Cory looks a bit under the weather in this video, do hope it’s nothing serious! Love you Cory
He's the best
Suddenly hearing german in the video I was like "Did the video end and youtube started a new one?" Heh... he kept talking and talking and he tried to translate it all.
Its great that he went and explained it all. Some people are like "its a secreeeeet"
Okay so first I set up my third aquarium, 10g. I had to upgrade that bad boy, to a 29. As dorky as it sounds, I like to put gemstones in my aquariums.
I have some Onyx, jade, amethyst and crystal in my freshwater 10g, thinking about using red jasper in my Amazon themed tank. 10G is a pretty fancy little half moon setup, on it's own round end table with a 18 inch slice of live edge wood underneath the tank, it made a really a nice looking display stand, much better than just the filing cabinet I used to have. I like the rounded front glass on the half moon tank. Amazing how much difference a new stand can make, I never gave it much thought in the hobby until later on.
I also put a live edge mantle above my 29 gallon, looks naturalistic, I like the look of natural wood furniture next to aquariums, it really gives you the feeling of being outdoors. I go to Menards and check out the live edge timbers they have, sometimes find a nice piece or two. Anyways, thinking about getting some angels for my 29. I left it semi open, so we can focus on the fish when I get them in, probably go with 4 until they outgrow it. I forgot to paint the back of the tank, prefer matte black. I can get a thin piece of acrylic and cut and paint it to fit behind the tank, did this with the 10G. Otherwise, a mirror surface looks good too on the Salwater tank.
How are they raising the fry?
Damn impressive!
Oh man show us more of that peace lilly!
Gorgeous! ❤❤
Cheeto Finger morph!!! Hahahahhaha
Corey- pricey discus. Imagine the overhead for the fancy chairs and artwork
One day, Hopefully sooner rather than later, I'll have these
@AquariumCoop Wow Cory that's cool
Discus fish are beautiful ❤
700 Euro equals $752.07 😮 That's pricey, baby!
12 foot hands? 🤨
I think he was going for inches 😅
@@simonspunereally…thanks…
12 foot hands so funny
Even inches is too much, what was he saying 😆
What's that in washing machines?
Is this an aquarium co-op secret slip #coryisagaint
I would be very interested to know their feeding protocol....beautiful~~~
Nice video
For a sec I thought those were slices of salami in the thumbnail
Bro can I use tap water For My Aquarium By Adding Dechlorinator ? Will My Fish Survives And Does glass get fade overtime?
2:52 you got big hands and that discus is huge too but 12ft long?!? ahahah
Question 🙋🏻♂️ is it possible to successfully keep Severum and Discuss together in a 120 gallon tank? If so, what is the best way to set things up?
Couldn't the acrylic lid be flipped over every so often to stop it from bowing?
Next time you check a wholesale list you'll see "cheeto fingers discus"
Loved my Discus... Bought 7 and they all lived for over 5 yrs... 2 even bread... It caused insanity in the tank...
Hey corey i've been a big fan for many years. have bought your products. What would be your advice if the average joe had a great idea. For a filter intake. What would be your advice be on marketing it..?? Keep up the great work. thank you.
And what about the heating system...???
Where are the fry? That many pairs there should be babies everywhere
I have seen breeding pairs of discus for sale for $400 to $800.
Probably germans are the best at discus breeding and selling!
👍🏻👍🏻
Anyone know name of strains. guppy he have, one he called "Best guppy in the world"?
Thanks
I believe it's a dragon mosaic guppy. ~Irene
Thank you so much irene😊@@AquariumCoop
@@AquariumCoop TCG red dragons.
12’ long hands??? Omg
To bad you were not able to bring him your extension net.
No wild discus patterns. Makes me sad😅
Y don't we ever see black discus
Can Cory get anymore cool?
He will find a way!!
@@RagePlay-ru2bh facts😎. Enjoy nature daily 💚
very clean water, but still the a big survival time of the airbubbles in a few tanks.... How can it be explained ? Calcium probably not, assuming it's soft water... strange. Or is it then all just a myth, the story about airbubbles..?
