    Christians case has always stuck out to me every time I’ve come across it on different podcasts. He didn’t kill himself he was set up and murdered! Dylan and the girlfriend had everything to do with it!! Why would they let their gravy train stop paying for everything especially when she had a drug problem?! I really hope the parents reach out to the general attorney and push until they open the case again. Those two are guilty as sin and should pay for what they did to him! It also makes me wonder if the girlfriend was a CI for the police department and that’s why it was brushed under the rug?

    I'll share a story. I'm a Crone now, so over 50 yrs ago, my neighbor was found dead. 1 week before the epic, 2 month, planned road trip, he was taking with a co-worker. Both of these single gentlemen, had saved their vacation days, for 2 years, to travel around America. They worked @ Lockheed, in Burbank, Ca, as did my Dad....so I know saving vacations was a thing. My neighbor was found on the floor of his bedroom, shot with his own handgun. The bedroom window, facing my parent's properties, had the screen removed: leaning against the outside of the home. That was not typical. The bottom half of the window was open. The gun had been kept in a bedside table drawer that was found on the floor, items from within that drawer were scattered. The home was a small, shotgun cabin style, dwelling. Not a large property, but it had an excellent view up the Big Tujunga Canyon, looking towards the Angeles National Forest. Perfect for a single man. The police determined it was a suicide. They had asked his elderly Mom if anything was missing. Head bobbing & tilted sideways, she declared she didn't think so....while admitting she didn't go inside, because the cabin was painted red, and red was the color of the Devil. Well, she's super believable! The police said my neighbor had killed himself because he was in poor health: he had arthritis. They refused to listen to either myself (who had been paid to do chores on the property) or the co-worker (who was a frequent visitor: they would bar-b-cue & take in that view) that the disarray in the small home was a clear sign that something bad had happened. Who saves all of their vacation time, for two years, to off themselves, on the hardwood floor, 1 week before the road trip of a lifetime?!?
    Lazy, incompetent, didn't give a rat's arse, police is who! This wasn't some backwater, poorly trained, newbies either....suit wearing detectives of the Los Angeles Police Dept. I lost my faith in our system, when they wouldn't even take fingerprints because " it was obvious what had happened"
    I've known a good cop or two, in the ensuing half a century. But it's pretty much the luck of the draw, what you're going to get: good cop or bad cop?
    Good luck.

      I am so sorry that happened to your neighbor. As a chronically ill person, I've had a very similar experience with doctors and nurses. I've known people who have had their teeth ruined by sub par dentists. Bad pilots have crashed planes. There are teachers who do way more harm than good, psychologists, lawyers... I wish everyone would take the time to care about the job they choose to do.
      RIP to your neighbor. God will judge us all. ❤

    The first case I remember seeing on TV and this case was mishandled badly. This case was of pure murder and greed from the girlfriend and friend who was mooching off Christian. The second case I believe the woman had mental issues that went unresolved for a period of time.

    • @mzcytin
      @mzcytin Рік тому +4

      The 2nd case had fled an abusive ex who was also a cop. Many people believe that is why her case was considered S. The evidence really doesn't add up. For the conclusion to be possible, she would've needed more than mental illness. Super powers would've been required to get the needle she allegedly drugged herself with so far from where she allegedly hog tied herself. It may be worth looking into on 1 of the other channels who presented all the evidence in her case for a full video.

    The hair on the back of my neck stood on end when I heard that part about Whitley wanting Christian to make her the beneficiary of a life insurance policy just in case of an accident at work yeah that's not creepy at all😏
    Imo I truly believe that the cops were to damn lazy to do their job. Just because it's the easiest conclusion to reach doesn't mean that it's an accurate one.
    Imo I feel that Whitley and His unemployed friend had the opportunity to kill him .
    Her because she was a greedy girl who saw potential gold mines and Daniel because I think Whitley was sleeping with him and manipulated him into helping get rid of Christian.
    That case absolutely needs to be reopened and then need to put more effort into Gathering all the evidence that leads to the truth.

    Kendall Rae did an amazing tribute video on this case a a couple years back 👌👏🏿👍💎. She met with and interviewed Christian's Family and a couple of his supposed "friends". It was just super intense, emotional and heartbreaking. Watching Christian's Mom going thru their Family photo albums filled with pics of Christian (and including even some of Christian and his "friends") just absolutely pulled away at my heartstrings. As a Mother of 2 boys myself, I know just how incredibly sweet, strong, sacred & special that Mother/Son bond truly & especially is!!! Listening to her speak so highly of her Son, it's like I could literally almost absorb & feel just her tremendous amount of real, true, pure, sheer, overwhelming & unrelenting pain coming through my phone & touching my own heart. Oh how I could just feel for that poor Mother on so many levels, I mean that ache in her voice is something I can still hear in my head 2+years after watching that video...I mean it really touched me someplace deep, it really, really got to me.
    But so now, 2+years after watching the tribute video that Kendall Rae made for Christian's Family and in honor of Christian's everlasting legacy and memory, I think I am finally now ready to watch another video made by someone else. And I honestly cannot think of anyone better than this always sooo sweet Southern Girl right here, right now. 👌👏🏿👍So I'ma get to it. Thankyou for covering this unbelievably tragic case, Ms. Southern Girl 🙏!!!

    The case of Cindy James has always intrigued me. It is by far one of the creepiest cases I have ever heard of. I have heard many different versions of her story with very little details. The sketch of the man seen outside her home is something that has never been shown. With regard to the voice recording, I have heard it several times, and it does sound like a woman attempting to disguise her voice. I remember when this case was featured on Unsolved Mysteries, and there were theories that she may have been suffering from multiple personality disorder, and that one of her personalities completely took over and killed her. Which is why the RCMP ruled it as a suicide. Another theory is that her ex husband may have killed her, but I don’t think there was enough evidence to prove that claim.
    I really enjoyed watching the video. You put a lot of time and effort into making these, and it is amazing the amount of research that you do that adds a little something extra that nobody else notices. Sometimes all it takes is one vital clue that holds the key to solving these mysteries. @southerngirl, keep doing your thing. We love you!

    Christian - murder - he had too much going for him and had his head on straight - bad police work/investigating
    Cindy - IDK - sounds like someone knew or noticed when the police would be there - weird that her perpetrator's sketch looks like a Planet of the Apes character. Her body was found the day I graduated high school. June 8, 1989. Seems like if someone was threatening her that bad and she was found beaten a few times, they would have just finished the job the first few times. That's the part that seems weird to me. Also seems odd that for someone who was so afraid of whoever....she told her parents that she admits she "knew more than she was saying and she would go after the perpetrator herself"??? Why would go after someone that you are afraid of unless the perpetrator IS YOURSELF. Thoughts ????
    Jessica - definitely murder - seems like someone strangled her with her purse strap and then staged the hanging.

    The first case is truly puzzling there's a lot of things going on and for police to just basically overlook things. It makes you think that someone in the police department is covering up for someone is what it's sounding like to me. Did they ever check out to see if maybe this girl was possibly messing around with a police officer. It's truly a case that's a cover up.

    • @dmreddragon6
      @dmreddragon6 Рік тому

      The Chief of police is likely the "dirty cop". He's the one that showed up to the scene, and shut down the investigation. He's the one who determined it a suicide w/o even seeing the crime scene!
      I honestly think that Whitley knew of goings on involving the chief of police, that he didn't want known. Then she had Christians blood on her hands, and didn't want to be held accoutable.

    👀 I can't understand how Jessica's case wasn't ruled a murder! It's seems nearly impossible to create such an outrageous "suicide" scene alone in the dark. I'm curious about benzo (Xanax, etc) levels in her toxicology report. Between meth & Xanax, they'd likely be the cause of respiratory distress. Yet if she wasn't breathing, how do the police reason the unreasonable?

    My grandfather was murdered in his home , middle of sunny Saturday afternoon, by people we all knew , police didn't even take a fingerprint, they stole his contract cingular flip phone, months later people told me his name was shown on caller ID , I called it pretending it was a wrong number got a name, reported it to state police because they had been going in the cell store paying the bill monthly, there's a theft ring involving police in Kentucky among other things , so this story with Christian it seems similar with corruption, my grandfathers death is decade old cold case that's very not cold and the PTSD investigating it myself has me left as the oldest living family member because the rest just gave up hope all dying off , it's not just Kentucky police in my opinion it's nationally here and there and may God help us all , oh btw that sheriff was eventually indicted by the attorney general of the United States for embezzlement of federal funds over 100k dollars

    I really feel for Christians loved ones. Despite the dirty police chief James Lee sabotaging the investigation, and losing evidence there is still enough to show that he (Christian) didn't kill himself. Yet no one has been charged in his death.

    That is crazy! It's almost smack you in the face obvious Christian was murdered! Yet in some other instances that I've read or watched the police will charge someone when is just as smack you in the face either not the person arrested or clearly an accident. I live in Canada and I believe it's the same here. My brother supposedly killed himself in 1991. His wife was openly having a very suspicious close relationship with one of his friends. There's way too much to get into on a comment thread, but same thing of like HELLO!!!! Anyway, love your videos!!

    If you’re a parent in charge of your child’s body after death, why in the heck wouldn’t you request an autopsy, and then worse, cremate your child right away? An autopsy is way more valuable than having people look at pictures and even if the cops and the state are pushing you to suicide theory, you’ll have independent evidence for the court!

    The lack of investigations in the first and third cases is absolutely infuriating. Christian very clearly did not kill himself, which would have been immediately evident had the Meridien police done even the most basic of investigations. No way would Whitley have slept through a gunshot, no way would Christian just want Dylan to have all his money. Did the bloody shirt stuffed behind the toilet belong to Christian? Whose knife was it and whose blood was on it? Did Christian have any knife wounds? Did Dylan or Whitley? Who moved Christian's vehicle? As far as no real evidence against Dylan or Whitley, there were plenty of circumstantial evidence. Dylan made the call to Christian to get him to come home; both he and Whitley were in the house; Dylan was trying to clean out Christian's bank account; both had gunshot residue on their hands; Whitley believed she was the beneficiary of Christian's life insurance policy; and both were being kicked out of the apartment.
    Seven years is a very long time for someone to be stalked and harassed - and so many elements of the Cindy James case don't fully add up. Based solely on what I've heard, I lean towards suicide.
    No excuse why there was zero investigation in Jessica's case - and certainly not likely to change with no autopsy and her body being cremated. I don't believe she committed suicide. Women typically don't put themselves on display like that. Did a medical examiner ever offer a time of death? I remember hearing doubts about Jessica having been at that mailbox all night and into the next morning due to traffic passing by and yet no one seeing her. Likely she was killed elsewhere and placed there. Why would her boyfriend change the passcode on her phone if this was a straight up suicide? Why didn't Jessica leave with the friend she contacted from inside the bathroom, begging for help? Definitely many questions but I think murder.
    Thank you for the video and focusing on these cases. Happy Thanksgiving!

    I know one thing’s for certain-a 17 year old child has NO business living her life as an adult. As a mother to two adult kids I would have to step in and send that little girl back to her family and let them deal with her. Homegirl was living high on the hog on Christian’s dime. Damn shame.
