Unlike other channels which use random stock footage, you make the effort to include actual videos and maps from the place and time. Can't have been easy to find footage from 1980s/90s Wildwood, but you did!!!! (and those of us who have walked on that boardwalk appreciate it!)
And no one will riot about it either. The death of women and their injustice is often treated as meaningless. At least this video will make a few more aware and perhaps citizens can reclaim their rightful power, reminding authorities that they are the source of their positions; they are not royalty.

Went there w/my family as kid, big busy boardwalk & knew it was dodgy after dark, & sadly not surprised by the corruption...don't miss it. Our parents, my 2 brothers and myself all lived in Alabama at the time and she lived in Florida…so we didn’t see her everyday, so it was easy for her to hide it from us. We knew he was a no-good POS, and we were relieved when she told us they broke up, but we didn’t know it had gotten that bad. And we regret every day that we weren’t as nosy as we should have been. I’m the oldest, then her and then my 2 brothers. And I don’t have any memories of being an only child….as soon as I could make memories, she is in all of them. I don’t ever remember being without her….and now that I know how it feels, it breaks my heart. Thanks for taking the time to reply to me. I appreciate it. 😊

I find it amazing that in the US it is the norm to just join random parties held by strangers, especially at such a young age. It's so sad, because so many lives have been lost by such behaviour.

The ones where the person has already died get to me the worst! Omg. Always seems like such a slap in the face. Also, the ones that take forever to solve 10-30yr cases, I always wonder how many other people they likely killed in that timeframe.

That judge is God and whatever we have done on this earth we must answer for unless we have gotten forgiveness through his son Jesus Christ. First, I just have to say this, a coroner shouldn't have that much power. I get that in some cases you may have families that cannot accept results but if there are three other coroners that come to the same conclusion then there needs to be some sort of system in place to take that decision out of their hands & it shouldn't have to wait until that person leaves their job. Second, with genic gemology now being a tool if someone committed a crime like murder & they have been able to get away with it because they aren't in CODIS they might as well just turn themselves in because they are going to come and get you otherwise.
Please see my comment on Coroner vs Medical Examiner. People who live in counties that use the antiquated Coroner system would be appalled at how little scientific experience Coroners actually have. Bureaucratic experience - sure. Elected Coroner = bad idea. Unless the requirements to become Coroner are as stringent as becoming an M.E. An appointed M.E. that is subject to popular/referendum recall is the best bet.
In Australia coroner's & the role they play is different. Coroners are not medical practitioners instead they are legal practitioners appointed as Judicial Officers with the legal responsibility to investigate particular types of deaths. Coroners investigate somewhere between 10% and 20% of all deaths in Australia. Coroners investigate certain kinds of deaths in order to determine the identity of the deceased and the date, place, circumstances and medical cause of death. Coroners also investigate the cause and origin of fires and explosions.
First case = the unfortunate girl was so drunk the police should have taken her to the hospital or other safe place. Police and authorities were incompetent and covered it up
First story hits home a bit. I live about 45 minutes from Wildwood and it's where me and my friends stayed prom weekend in 1992. I wasn't aware this that murder happened 2 years earlier. Wildwood has its share of drunk idiots but murders are very rare in that shore town.
To add insult to injury, it sounds like the corrupt cops blew off any real investigation into Kara's murder. The attitude seemed to be, "she's just a prostitute, so why bother?"
The last case is so puzzling as it makes no sense. Why would an apparently law abiding man do something like this? Maybe there are other cases he's never been linked to

So, after fighting for years to change the manner of death to homicide and matching the DNA, they didn't charge her killer with murder. Unbelievable.

People have no idea how dangerous it is to have a corrupt police department. They literally have no one to turn to and victims fail to get justice.
To add insult to injury, it sounds like the corrupt cops blew off any real investigation into Kara's murder. The attitude seemed to be, "she's just a prostitute, so why bother?"
You have great videos I normally watch them on my television so I can't write messages unless using phone. Just wanted say keep up great work

Mother's who protect their murderous sons are an explanation of why the sons are murderers.
What an asinine logic! 🤦♂️ A spoiled son or daughter usually *don't turn into a murderer.* Plus, denial is a thing, no mother or father *wants* to admit that *their kids are murderers.* If the sentence is fair but they still keep on denying it, *let them be.*
It feels like people in the comments don't have the capacity to measure the emotional toll that it is to realize *your kid is a murderer.*
Unless the parents are corrupt big shots who are able to buy the kid's freedom and get away with it, *don't judge what you don't know.*
Besides the obvious #1 question of, are u yourself actually a mother or parent? Even if u are my next question is, have u ever been through that? Has your son or daughter ever killed anyone and then your faced with that knowledge as well as the unimaginable questions of what u should do? Cause if the answers to one or more of those questions was no, then u really shouldn't b so quick to judge

@@redacted2275being a mother doesn't excuse you from moral responsibility. If my son killed someone I wouldn't want to be near him, let alone help him get away with it and potentially murder more people.
