    It puzzles me why when people hear SCREAMING and odd movements in the townhouse, they didn't call the POLICE! I would have and if it turned out to be nothing, that would be fine because if it HAD been(which it was)a life may have been save or the killer caught!

    Jonelle Matthews case really pissed me off. He did that shit and basically played around staying close enough to the case to see how long it takes them to solve the murder and that infuriates me even more. That was just a personal game for him. I hate law enforcement took soooo long to pinpoint him when it was right under their nose. Ugh.

    When dealing with corrupt police department, entire department, wouldn’t it be a little easier for them to mess with the DNA and put it on an innocent man? I don’t know, but something in my gut tells me that Rena wasn’t making all that up. That’s just my opinion though 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Thanks for doing the story about JB and Tracie from Dothan, AL. I was only 4 years older than them and their murder was so awful and heartbreaking for the whole area. There were so many rumors too and not just about the police but I'm glad it had somewhat of a solution. Mia Brown is another one from this area that is heartbreaking. She was found in her trunk too. Not connected to JB and Tracie at all though. Anyway thank you for the coverage.

      I'm from Troy, but was working at Wal-Mart in Ozark at the time. Back then, especially, Ozark was a very tight community. Yes, there was a lot of rumors, but there was also a lot of fact to many of those rumors. Most of the ones involved (in those rumors) have moved away... that tells me a lot right there. Not matter what happened, it was a very very sad and dark time in Dale County, Alabama. It really changed the community.. Ozark lost its innocence to me.... I grew up going to the skating rink, the movies over by the old Walmart... it sure has changed.

      That's why you have to be on guard within your own soul. There are truly good a holy people but there are others of us who wrestle with evil. It's a battle from the first breath to the last. As a priest I used to go to confess to once told me, evil lurks everywhere and you must be on guard for it but not fixate on it. He had seen a lot of death as a hospital chaplain, people brought in who succumbed to gunshots, random attacks, etc. Still had a great faith in God and people. He was a great guy.

    • @vixenghoul

      We in the in UK pronounce Reading as Red- ing too. I watch mostly American true crime whether on UA-cam or tv programs and noticed some pronounce towns or cities that are named the same in the uk as in America the same but some don’t, i thought this might be a state thing to how it’s pronounced. Woodsborough for instance I’m sure I’ve heard someone in America pronounce it woods buh-ruh ( uk way ) but some pronounce it woods bor row , but could’ve been another place with borough on the end. It just interests me on how differently diffent states pronounce the same name. I’m just fascinated by it and would happy watch a video about it. Sure there must be a video up somewhere about this. I love the American language. I know. I’m a geek lol

    • @mattkaustickomments
      @mattkaustickomments 2 роки тому

      @@vixenghoul I’m a bit of an Anglophile (perhaps because my grandmother was a Welsh war bride) and I get into these differences too. I imagine Reading, PA was named after Reading in the UK, but was never changed in pronunciation. Famous differences are in the ‘-hams’. Such as Birmingham. UK BURR-ming-um vs. USA burr-ming-HAM. We’ll never understand how you get “DAR-bee” out of Derby, or “BARK-sheer” out Berkshire-there’ are no ‘a’s to be found... And the whole “shire” thing is something else altogether. Americans butcher the British “-shires”. They give them a long “i” and rhyme shire with hire. When it is supposed to be pronounced “sher” - rhymes with fur or like “sheer”.
      Most Americans would pronounce Edinburg as EDD-in-berg, not EDD-in-bruh. Brits typically get the US state of Michigan wrong, they pronounce the first syllable as “Mitch” when it should be “mish”. Brits mangle Kentucky as well, putting the emphasis on the last syllable instead of the middle syllable.
      America is known to mangle borrowed foreign place names… Cairo, IL is pronounced “KAY-ro”. New Madrid, not too far down the Mississippi River, is pronounced “noo-MADD-rid”. The list goes on.

    How was that first case “solved”? Still sounds fishy to me. Did the killer dress like a cop? Did fingerprints on the car match? He lived 15 minute walk away and was never questioned or suspected? He’s a truck driver, so did he do other crimes or is that speculation?
    Little too convenient when a random POC is arrested and a difficult case suddenly solved 🤔
    The last case with Panky, is not solved either and needs more evidence, if you ask me.

I have taught her the dangers and been blunt about doing so ,but so many other missing girls mothers and fathers have told them the same things. until we make a sentence that is scary for these freaks they will just keep doing it. they get a slap on the hand while our children die or have mental scars that will never go away. BULLSHIT! he was uncomfortably close to the case from the start. He claimed he didn't do it just because he didn't know her or her family. But yet still did so much research on the case and yet was so willing to keep talking to the police about the case as if he was a detective his damn self. the fact that he would tell the police details about the case only the police would know...that's one of 3 things: either he did it, he knows who did it or he was involved. that's it. They called a miss trial? no, put this man behind bars, he did the crime.

      @michelleprieur1 2 роки тому +1

      I don't think it was planted. Let's say that the semen was present; that doesn't mean that it necessarily matched the man who was convicted. All it takes is a threat or a few hundred bucks to a lab tech to make a switch. Or maybe the evidence was lost, and a handy suspect pops up, and a coffee cup he tosses "matches ". A scary looking black guy in Alabama, a truck driver who wouldn't have had a firm alibi, is an awfully convenient solution .

Such an awful fate for these two young ladies also .I quite enjoy the solved murders on this channel myself .Where I live on the Choctawhatchee River we have a lot of unsolved murders and are a well known dump/murder site in this area but one Jane Doe was recently identified and they have a strong suspect in her murder .Hopefully my dear friend Tarayon Corbitt murdered here on the river August 10 1995 and still unsolved he will get justice one day also .RIP to them all .Sorry for the loss of your neighbor in such a horrible manner .

    It concerns me, to qualify as a church or a pastor in parts of America, there are no standards, training or oversight of those involved. Many disturbed and dangerous people immerse themselves in trashy, two bit "churches" as a buffer for their misdeeds.zz

    Another great job by law officers 👏. Young lady missing in December in a snow storm and shoes and coat are still in the house. Officer's it has to be a run away because it's December snowing and she would definatly nit need shoes or a coat to run away. Wow wow wow can you imagine the IQ of these Officer's. And when they did a yearly review of unsolved case's they look at the situation again and draw the sane conclusion. December snowing so I'm going to run away and don't need shoes or a coat for sure a run away definatly. 🙃

  • @yolandawilson6619
    @yolandawilson6619 2 роки тому +3

    I almost think the first case was a set up. It seems as if it would be pointless to leave them in the trunk if it was a random murder. It seems staged to appear to be a random crime that makes no sense. I also question the indication that it was a sexual assualt with DNA being found on the body of one girl. I lean toward the Rena Crumb story.

    • @VioletJoy
      @VioletJoy 2 роки тому

      However, there is no evidence to support that theory, which is why it was reviewed and not allowed in court. DNA is hard evidence. It's really not possible to sexually assault two girls at once (in the and way), but is very possible to flee the scene after an assault.

    • @yolandawilson6619
      @yolandawilson6619 2 роки тому +3

      @@VioletJoy There was a woman murdered and the DNA found on her clothing and body matched her brother. He actually didn't violate nor murder her. She'd washed her clothes at his home the day before. Come to find out, DNA residue can be left behind on surfaces, clothing, etc even clothes washed and dried seperate from someone else's. It actually remains in the washer. A Yale student was violated and murdered, she was found inside the wall in the lab. The DNA matched a man that had died a few years prior to her murder and had never attended Yale. Come to find out, he actually worked with the construction crew that built that lab years prior to his death. Apparently DNA can survive on the inside of a wall years after it's put up. It somehow doesn't actually degrade as quick as most unsolved or suddenly solved cases like to indicate where there actually isn't a DNA link. So DNA is a direct link to a person with the exception of identical multiples but isn't always indicative of a direct link to a crime nor guilt. Where is the rest of the DNA, fingerprints, etc? The perpetrator touched the car, both girls, etc. Why is DNA only found on one especially considering they were put in the truck together?

      @@staggerlee6794 Fair enough, sorry I misunderstood. Yeah, Pankey is a wackadoo. With McCraney, the DNA could have been planted, contaminated, or just plain lied about. I caught the part where it stated that the two girls had no signs of sexual assault, but DNA was found? On the outside of the clothing? That sounds off to me. It took the cops 6 hours to get into the trunk? DNA is not the end all evidence in every case.
