One of the best because of course the greatest singer is the one that was the first teen idol and the first one that girls went crazy over and who was nicknamed the voice, Frank Sinatra
Unfortunately the amazing "Tomorrow Never Comes" wasn't even mentioned -- his power, phrasing, what he did w-certain words, the glass shattering finish -- why ever it was overlooked is beyond me. I don't agree w-The Wonder of You. Bottom line is no list should be as short as only 10 songs -- it overlooks way too many that belong high on a list, like some from the great "From Elvis in Memphis" album. Anyone who goes by that list is foolish -- & missing out on a tremendous amount.
Agree! We so rarely agree with the formal lists that so many organizations, like Rolling Stones magazine issue anyway! We always wonder if there are any REAL Elvis fan's doing those lists to start with?
@@BlueSuedeConnection Thx for your response. I've never been a "go by the list" sort of person; I also don't go by anything written in books; haven't even read any books about him; I've been watching & listening to him since 1954 age 11, & the only 2 people I trust are Steve Binder, producer-director of the '68 special, & Marty Pasetta whose ingenious idea it was to create that runway for Elvis in Hawaii (Parker didn't want it but Elvis said build it). Way too much wrong information out there about Elvis both personally & professionally.
Very Interesting

Early 60s Nashville was his best voice with versatility
The 60's were, what we call, The Velvet Elvis Years! Agree
Elvis has no equal.Full stop.👑👑👑👑
Sinatra had no equal
@@joeyrossetti13Perhaps not in his lounge type singer but he was no equal to Elvis voice wise range or iconic status.
Sinatra had his own place in musical history, different, but as important. We play a lot of Dean and Frank in our household.
@BlueSuedeConnection So do I but in my humble opinion neither Frank or Dean are in Elvis league.
