Love elvis ❤😂😢😮😮😊😅😮😢
Elvis did record a Johnny cash song, a thing called love.
Why was Elvis’s wishes not heard? He wanted to be directly beside his beloved mother, I’ve been to Graceland and when I walked up to the Meditation gardens each morning I was so saddened each time to see it’s not the way Elvis would have wanted it,💔
Its just fabulous Elvis still hitting the charts
He’s the greatest
@@danthegiantinme8571 He sure is
Whole Lotta Rosie.
I wonder if Elvis is not the only white artist for whom it will always be necessary to insist that he was not racist and to say that the influence he had from black artists is nothing other than influence and not theft. then all artists whatever their fields, should all be qualified as thieves because an artist always has an influence and it is from this influence that he finds his style.
There's a great Album by an ETA called Gravelands.. Think hes called Jim "the king " Brown .he covered songs by singers who have passed away . My favourite is Whole lotta Rosie.....brilliant ..video on you tube
Elvis did sing " It'sJust a Matter of Time!" Elvis was and still is The G.O.A.T!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤!!
That's a different It's Just A Matter Of Time...
Elvis was my 1st rock and roll my mom would let me listen to in the 70's
One song Elvis started but never finished was Poor Man's Gold. So Pete Storm, another person and myself are the 3 that HAVE finished the song. And weird as it sounds. Until last fall. We were the only three in over 50 years to have done this song Elvis way. Many have done it Mac Davis way. But us three are the only ones to do Elvis version. I think he would have done a great job on it. I also think he should have done 100 more gospel songs as well. Very interesting video. I enjoyed it. Thanks for this. 🙂 EDIT: PS yes I did record it if you wanted to go hear it. 😁
I would have loved it if Elvis had recorded Hallelujah.
Beautiful story and they said he had over 30 charity in Memphis.alone Wow He had A Heart of Gold Rest in peace Elvis 🙏🏻 ❤
Would have loved to hear him sing Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered.
Did Elvis ever sing or record CRAZY by Patsy Cline/
No, I'm sorry, he did not. Great song though from a great and also missed artist who died too young.
Mustang Sally or In the Midnight Hour (there is a rumor he recorded it for a Vegas run), but it is in a can somewhere under the salt in Utah.
Feelings, Theme Song from Love Story, Eagles Take it easy and other of their Song, CCR songs, I will always love you by Dolly.
Funny I was a little kid when ELVIS did that show and when I read about it in the newspaper the next day o couldn't believe ELVIS was so close to me i live in Saginaw Michigan little did i know only two years later ELVIS would be here in Saginaw twice in about a weeks time April 25th and back on May 3rd and YES WE WERE THERE. Peace and GOD BLESS YOU ALL FROM SAGINAW MICHIGAN Dontoons
WOW! Great story and you are very fortunate to have seen him...how exciting!
Love Elvis would be an excellent song where those who love him could put their lyrics
He wanted to do I Will Always Love You written by Dolly Parton but she wouldn't give the Colonel half the publishing rights or something like that. Also it has always been rumored that he did a try out version of We Had It All (Waylon Jennings) during the Stax recordings but it was either lost, recorded over, or it's in the hands of a private collectors. If you go back and look at the list of rehearsal songs for 1970 Holly Holy was on there and a few others. He also liked the song Suzie Q
Interesting! That would have a great song for him.
Add Indiana Wants Me, Don't Pull Your Love
DON'T IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ELVIS GIVES ME THE CHILLS WHEN I HEAR IT ❤❤❤
Great song, a real classic
Same here, his delivery is sublime!
Rock Me Baby recorded by Slim Harpo, Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters with Johnny Winter, and Don’t Let Go by Roy Hamilton. I could go on forever. I’m 84 and always preferred the ‘56 and ‘57 live, in person, concert performances. I was able to see 11 of them. They were unbridled, raw and organic!!! INCOMPARABLE!!! Saw him over 300 times from a front row seat in Vegas; and while they were mesmerizing, they weren’t even close to generating the electricity of those early performances. You had to see him in person in that gold lame suit, looking like a “GREEK GOD” with women jumping from the balconies and older people leaving the stadiums with their fingers in their ears because the screams were so loud and piercing. This has all been documented with pictures in the newspapers in the cities where Elvis performed. By the way, you often couldn’t hear ONE WORD Elvis sang and no one cared. Would you, if you were watching a Greek God?
WOW Thank you for sharing your experiences ... What treasured memories you have. God bless.❤
Amazing! 11 time between 56 and 57? That is something, and I can imagine that gold lame suit, the scene you’re describing! Whew. You are very blessed to have such memories to sit back and relive from time to time. WOW. Thanks for sharing!
ELVIS COULD SING ANYTHING ❤
Bollocks! He did none of the classics in the mid to late 70's....more like a gospel service! No Burning Love, Suspicious Minds etc.....he didn't have the energy!!
That’s All Right, Jailhouse Rock, Little Sister, Johnny B Good, Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog were all in his 77 tour. He had his good days and bad days in 77, but my point was, he could still Rock n Roll even in the last year of his life. TCB/TLC
No energy, and emphysema among other afflictions.
what now my love,live 1973.
Axl rose is the king of rock n roll
He sang at Lisa Marie’s service at Graceland. He’s a big Elvis fan. Axl, the king of Rock n Roll? He’s not Rock n Roll, he’s Metal or Rock 🤣.
Elvis the best
Axl is a golden girl, sounds like a strangled cat. ELVIS is The King. Always
I Like When elvis was rock'n in 50s and 60s. But 70s was so much wild for elvis.
The worst Elvis! So sad
There were still moments of greatness. He could hit notes he couldn’t hit back in the early years.
@@danthegiantinme8571 You're right about that
We didn't get so much of. Elvis s music here in. Aus. Pity I missed so much but didn't stop me being a big. Elvis fan and still am. My husband was for. Roy but I was big for. Elvis. Charley was a great friend to. Elvis right to end of. Charlie's death. Just like. Ann. M. Was.unlike P. All she wanted was fame off. Elvis s name. Not any more tho. Elvis yes !!
What are you talking about??
I agree with most of your songs. That's the greatness of. Elvis. He was a man humble still don't mention Sinatra with. Elvis. Elvis was so much more than him. Kentucky. Rain. Beautiful. Thanks.
Consisted of 2 concerts 0:51 June 19, 1977 and June 21, 1977
3:35 When the album was first released on July 19, 1977 it was on BLUE vinyl, but a short run of black vinyl was also pressed. I bought my original BLUE pressing copy on the first day of release (July 19. 1977) at PEACHES RECORDS & TAPES in Memphis at a shopping center near the corner of Getwell Road & Park Avenue.
THANK YOU GUYS❤
Thank you for supporting us and watching ❤️
~ January and February 1969 is when Elvis made his "serious return to music" recording at American Sound Studio in Memphis. 8:54 ~ Elvis sold out 4 shows at Madison Square Garden on June 9, June 10 (two shows), and June 11. 9:13
Elvis' life changing moments... His famous appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show should definitely be on that list!
Correction: In the movie "Kissin' Cousins", Pappy Tatum was actually played by Arthur O'Connell. 5:44 Jack Albertson played as Captain Salbo.
There’s no record of Elvis performing The Impossible Dream after 1972.
It’s a great story and there’s so many just like it with Elvis. He had an amazing heart. I don’t think David would make up such an elaborate story.
Elvis' big heart
I like both of those songs They both sound really smooth and makes me be lifted up by his voice. And it chills me. That's what I love about Elvis Presley.
I have read Eternal Flame and Dream Angel, both great reads. Enjoyed them very much ❤
Nice Retro ⏰️ Clock
I LOVE YOU BLUE SUEDE CONNECTION
I like how depressed they sounded when saying guess what's there now...? 😂 Shame there weren't bigger stadiums back then, they should’ve built them specifically for Elvis to fill. I know if he'd come to England on tour he'd have packed out Wembley stadium solid for a year. I'm trying to estimate how many people Elvis performed to in his lifetime. My first guess was 2.5million physical fans attendance to venues but that's not based off lookimf at each venue and each year just an average of his vegas sized shows and a few of the stadiums which he toured several times. I think with Aloha, he may have the highest watched performances. They didn't keep accurate records back then unfortunately
Elvis Presley and Led Zeppelin were the Biggest Musical Acts to ever hit the Legendary Pontiac Silverdome...
Most Excellent ¿
My year🇺🇸🫡
RIP Elvis Presley, you are with your family in Heaven and the rest on Earth will join you one day ☦️🛐🙏🏻👍👌🕊🌈🌟💞💞💗💗💗💗🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Larry Geller was a big story telling full who was full of shit and making money from Elvis name
I must agree, Red, Billy, Charlie, Sonny, I think they loved him as a brother, Joe I think loved Elvis, however he was a business man also. Loving the show. Thank you ❤
😂❤😂
Elvis was allergic to codeine, and he knew it... But the night before he committed suicide, the intentionally obtained a bunch of extra codeine. He was sitting in a barber chair when he committed suicide, not on the toilet. The empty bottle of codeine was on the bathroom floor, along with dozens of other bottles and several empty syringes. There's no way he "accidentally" took every single pill and every single shot at the same time, knowing some of the pills guaranteed anaphylactic shock and death. He knew way too much about pharmacology to 'accidentally' take ALL of the drugs in one huge shot. It was completely intentional. Plus, his mother died on August 14th, and Elvis incorrectly thought she was 42 years old when she died. And Elvis had become an avid numerologist by 1977.. It was a portal to his mother. He had every right to stop the rocket ride.. He simply had enough, and he couldn't continue going on any longer, physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
I would be interested in speaking with you folks about this topic. A long time ago, Gail Brewer Giorgio asked me to illustrate the cover of a book she had written about Elvis. I didn't know anything about the project, when she told me to come visit her in Morrow Georgia. When I visited her, she played a cassette tape which she claimed was a recording of Elvis over the telephone... I listened intently to every word, carefully and dissecting the vowels and consonants and cadence of the voice on the tape. Afterwards, I told her "You're full of shit! This is not Elvis, and it's not even recorded on a phone!" I told her to fuck herself, and I got up and walked out of her house and drove home and never spoke to her again. However, she did write a book called ORION before Elvis died, a story about Elvis, but his name was Orion... And in her book Orion, he fakes his death to spend his life with his daughter... She wrote that book long before Elvis died, before any of the 'Elvis is alive' phenomenon started, and in fact, she was primarily responsible for the entire 'Elvis is alive' clown show. Elvis would have been so proud of me for telling her to go to hell!...
