Elvis didn’t like *musicals.* He once tried to watch Yul Brynner in “The King and I,” but it was a musical, and he left the theater! Yet, what did the Colonel sign Elvis up for? A bunch of musicals! Elvis once said he’d kiss a girl, sing her a love song, then get into a fight over her… Same old song, fight, and romance plot in all but one movie, “Charro.”
@@lynnvandyke1065 Not all the films were ridiculous. I do know what you mean though. Elvis often talked about it. Back then a lot of those type of films were popular for the teenagers. I didn't detect any real change between the first interview and the second. Elvis in my opinion remained consistently the same person throughout his entire career. It's a testament really to the man's humility. What I sensed was an introspective and somewhat lonely man, who was realistically aware that his great good fortune could turn on a dime. Diplomatic, honest,("I don't like myself when I am in a bad temper") kind, sweet and sincere hard working Elvis. :-). He feels lonely already. I hear him sigh..😢 He does his very best to please everyone. AND stands his ground. 😂It is a great interview with difficult and good questions. The man Elvis and his great personality is so near here..He is wise for his age and reflective. He is so cautious about getting into a wrong marriage and yet he did.
He had to follow through with his PROMISE to Pricilla’s folks. In order for her to come and live in Memphis, she had to graduate high school and he had to promise to marry her. He promised and both promises were kept by him!
@@littleiodine9480He cried the night before the ceremony, stating he was pressured to marry her.Three minutes before the ceremony, he tried to back out of it.Pris has done so much to try to ruin who he really was.Against Lisa's wishes, she made her movie flop Priscilla in which she wrongly fabricated situations and Elvis.Shd was the first to cheat just 6 weeks after Lisa's birth She broke up Mike Stone's marriage to a pregnant wife and became a home wrecker. She almost bankrupted Elvis twice. In March 1977 she placed a $700,000 lien against Graceland, hoping to steal it.Elvis called a manipulative diva She was the worst thing to happen to him.He and both Lisa left her out of his will .Recently, she was caught by Graceland in an attempt to sell fake Graceland artifacts. She is a real peachy gem. Not!!
OMGosh, amazing Soul, he was learned, searching for God and truth ... Wish he had more children and more settled in life, he was a deep thinker and honest in revealing his wishes and philosophy.
Really revealing interview from a relatively mature young man who was a deeper thinker than most: Mentioning he needs to use willpower with food and avoid alcohol to keep his weight in check; and Not wanting to rush into finding a mate but still needing someone to provide companionship other than his employed crew. These are issues he lost track of when the show-biz lifestyle and 60's social enticements got the better of him. But he definitely was a good guy.
When asked the question about his rented house he described it to a tee down the tge precise address . Who the heck does that. Shows himself as a humble , honest human being .
Oh yes ! He knew The Bible better than a lot of Preachers. He was a Pentecostal child of God who did go off the tracks but his roots were in the good soil. What a beautiful and honest man. Priscilla was out to catch him and he deserved MUCH BETTER. Have loved him for ages...I am 78.❤
@kayrudd7692 - Priscilla was young and beautiful. She loved Elvis. He was also lucky to have her, She gave him a beautiful daughter, but he couldn’t stop his cheating. That was humiliating for her, and drugs! Too much, She had to move on. Don’t be envious of Priscilla, That’s UGLY!.
Can you imagine if he did become a doctor?!!❤❤❤ I would definitely want to be seen by him!! (well, depending on what type of Dr he would be!!!)😂❤😂❤❤😂❤😂❤😂

He should have written a book for other young bachelors!
And he so handsome, he needed to be careful!!❤💕❤️💕❤️
ELVIS FOREVER ❤️
I like his voice and the way he talks. I haven't found anything bad about him yet.
Sounds like a nice, genuine guy.
@@littleiodine9480 , yes I know. That' s what I meant when I say "and yet he did". He didn't want to break his promise.
@@carlospatricio1625 , sí, exactemente.
Not!!
I really enjoyed and resonated with the second interview more, but it was a treat to hear both.
Yeah same for me to be honest. Thank you
❤miss you much!@@Hidden_Minds
@@camilleswope2765 thank you! Working on a new Elvis video/documentary at the moment
I would pick the 2nd one he spoke about being kind to other ppl and just really opened up about how he sees life
Elvis was authentic because his parents were
True. They were polite and warm, and so was Elvis.
Bravo !
Old old expression.Only The Good Die Young, that said with modern technology we all can learn and share how to be good.👍❤️❤️with love and kindness.
So intelligent
YES INDEED THE REAL THING MR ELVIS PRESLEY FROM TUPELO MISSISSIPPI 🎙🎼🎶🎸💯
Love you El, my friends ❤
OMGosh, amazing Soul, he was learned, searching for God and truth ... Wish he had more children and more settled in life, he was a deep thinker and honest in revealing his wishes and philosophy.
Thank you for this!!!! Love it 😘
Actually if you listen to him he is not only very humble, he is smart, and expresses himself extremely eloquently.
Yes exactly
Amazing never heard this one!
Brilliant love this, thank you
Really revealing interview from a relatively mature young man who was a deeper thinker than most:
Mentioning he needs to use willpower with food and avoid alcohol to keep his weight in check; and
Not wanting to rush into finding a mate but still needing someone to provide companionship other than his employed crew. These are issues he lost track of when the show-biz lifestyle and 60's social enticements got the better of him. But he definitely was a good guy.
Could Listen to him forever such a Lovely kind caring Man and very interesting ❤️👑🙏🎵🎶🎶🎹🎤
They both were insightful, but you see his growth and humanity in the 2nd one.
Was in Army in Germany at same time as Elvis. I am sure he could have got out of going to Army. That is why I like him. A good ole boy!
Love it
@@DEFENDINGELVISPRESLEY thank you Louis
When asked the question about his rented house he described it to a tee down the tge precise address . Who the heck does that. Shows himself as a humble , honest human being .
@@geoffreyparsons4353 yes indeed
I adored and loved him! Long live the King!!!
Elvis, always respectful and authentic❤❤
Your channel shows a love towards Elvis. For this a like you.
@@reginatyomkina2007 yes thank you and that always will be.
A beautiful soul.
Down to earth and a humble man
I AGREE DON'T BE CRUEL TO PRISCILLA... PLUS SHE WENT TO COURT FOR WHAT THE KERNAL DID AND ALOT OF OTHER CRAP.. SHE SAVED GRACELAND.💫💫💫💫
Wise beyond his years, Elvis was a one off. He was the real deal
My precious cousin. How I love and miss him
Are you related to Elvis on his mom’s side or his dad? Your very blessed 😇🙏
He was stunning
Elvis could have done anything and be good at it.
Can you imagine if he did become a doctor?!!❤❤❤
I would definitely want to be seen by him!! (well, depending on what type of Dr he would be!!!)😂❤😂❤❤😂❤😂❤😂
Elvis was no dummy. Thoses who say he was have obviously not listened to this interview.
I agree with you 100% Randy
Very thoughtful man.
Pretty damn sharp for 22 year old hillbilly. I really miss you Elvis, you were one classy human being!
Miss him❤
Rest Easy Elvis, Rest Easy Lisa Marie and Son
Your videos are really fantastic!
I wish all the best for you and your channel!💚☀️
@@marion_R I appreciate that, thank you very much!
Elvis was so well grounded. He had better scruples than many ppl claiming to be religious.
