What is wrong with coconut oil, would u mind telling me? I use a coconut oil and Shea butter mixture thingy because I have such sensitive skin, anything else makes my face e x t r e m l y puffy.
@@sydney8145 coconut oil can of course be used if it works for your skin type, just don’t use loads and loads of it because it can cause oily skin later on. but you can use coconut oil if it really does work for your skin and if anything else irritates your skin, go for what works!

A lot of people swear that it changed their skin, and part of its appeal are the quick results it usually garners. However, the Paula’s Choice website warns against using it for the long term, and recommends using it an absolute maximum of 2-3 times a week. If you want to get more into the specifics, the page on their website can tell you more.

My great grandmother would use potatoes for pimples in the 1930’s, and my grandma, momma, and sisters still use this on our face. My great grandma also carried around yellow lemons that were sliced in order to “clean the hands” when they were out of the home, and my grandmother and mother did the same. Turns out yellow lemons are natural antiseptics and are antibacterial. I come from a long line of medicine women, and these are just two tips that have been proven to work. 🥔🍋🌱🥑

I highly doubt it but if you must try. Do a patch test before. A lot of people are allergic or sensitive to raw potatoes.

Hyram has literally changed my skincare routine entirely!! I dropped makeup wipes, strongly fragranced skincare products, and other brands that weren't the best for my skin. I updated my skincare products about a week ago and I see a dramatic difference already. I'm 13 and my skin was covered in pimples and just felt gross all the time until I found Hyram. For me, as a previous pimple popper and pimple tool user, (before finding yours and James Welsh’s channel) I was so desperate to get rid of my acne and I didn’t know any better, which is why I tried these sorts of things. I was constantly seeing videos like this and tips online like these for acne that I of course, in my naivety, tried, thinking and believing they would help me :(. If I had of known then, what I know now I would never have treated my skin so harshly- also, I now know my acne was due to being dehydrated and clogged due to not having a skincare routine and probably inflamed from sun damage and using tools on it and popping pimples 😭. I was one of THE worst for abusing my skin but thinking it was helping :( I’m so so so thankful to James and you for your accurate, informative and truthful advice and information as I now have a skin care routine set up that’s working for me, I use a sunscreen and even know my skin type now too lol. So yeah, thankyou both so much 🙏🏼 p.s I’ve apologised to my skin lol, we’re on much better terms now :D

I realized my coffee scrub was too harsh AFTER it made my face feel like I rubbed it with sandpaper. Luckily, it works nicely in the shower as a body exfoliator, so I didn't have to throw the rest away.

For the potato girl, the “before” shot she wasn’t using a filter and the “after” shot she was so.. I think its fake and she just used the filter to hide the redness
I think before it was red from popping and scratching or something and then in the morning it was just a little bit healed because of 1. time passed 2. not touching it. It would probably look the same without the potato :D

That is for sure fake, in my opinion. And as you pointed out, she used a filter in the "after" shot. Plus the light was not natural, so it hides imperfections better.

Believe me if you have acne you have better skin then those people that have no acne. You care more about your skin and some people just do it for fun and after years go by they have in their 30 or 40 some wrinkles and their skin wont be that soft anymore. If you care about your skin and eat healthy then you will have flawless skin someday :) because you care!
