Hey! :) Loved the video, and at the beginning you said you'd be up for suggestions. I have one! I don't know if you've played this, but I would like to see something like the skyloft from Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. Basically a prairie or something on a few floating islands above the clouds. It's okay if you don't do it, but I just thought you'd like the suggestion. :)
This is fantastic. I'm a cosplay composite photographer just dipping my first toes into environment creation since hunting endlessly for stock images can be awful. If I'm wanting to go with Blender, what is Megascans? Is it contained within Blender or is it a completely different asset management system. I'm hoping I can get some basic info before trying to decipher everything online. Thanks!
Megascans is an asset library online where you can source 3D models and textures, much like a stock image website provides photos and videos for you to place in an edit. Quixel Megascans is a library made by epic games that has a ton of real world scans turned into 3D models ready for use in games and VFX. 3D models aren't too hard to install into Blender, and there's some good tutorials to explain this better than I could. I recommend Quixel Megascans, Textures.com, and Poliigon as some great libraries for paid and free assets, but there's tons of sites out there and they really help speed up the workflow for a solo artist. Hope this helps!
For still renders I prefer photoshop personally, but compositing nodes comes in handy for my animations mainly. In terms of software that offers node compositing, consider nuke or davinci resolve fusion. Also, blender has some built in compositing that can do a lot of the base work. Thanks!
I'm going to be uploading full walkthroughs without commentary. If you want a specific request for a tutorial, I can also do that! Thanks for the support!!
@@skilllanoodle I would be grateful for full walkthroughs without commentary about it 😊 I'm doing a study project for 3d class about cyber street so it could be very helpful for me. Tutorial on making architecture from pasting photos and blender nodes would be also very helpful. I didn't have it in class and it's complicated for me. Sorry for my bad english, hope it's understandable 😅
@@skilllanoodle Sólo tienes que activarlos en opciones de subtítulos en UA-cam. En este video los tienes desactivados. Has elegido la opción subtítulos no disponibles. UA-cam, él sólo los traduce a un montón de idiomas. Siendo UA-camr deberías saberlo, jeje. Un saludo y que vaya bien.
Let me know what you'd like to see next!
Great work! Very inspiring for me, as a complete beginner. Thanks!

Hi, is there any way of using compositing nodes instead Photoshop?

Can u make a Futurama Head in a Jar??
that would be awesome!! thanks for the idea (:
You have better mic than in the beginning. What mic do you use? Now it is great.
I use the shure sm7b, it's really good for vocals and speaking. Another good alternative is the Rode NT1 which isn't as expensive. Hope that helps!
@@skilllanoodle thanks. Cheers!
Hola. Por qué no activas los subtítulos en español?
Somos muchos en la comunidad hispanohablante.
Gracias y un saludo.
Estoy buscando subtítulos para mis videos en tantos idiomas como sea posible. Gracias por el comentario y perdón por el mal español.
