It shows that you have enough faith in your audience to generate engagement by themselves. It seems like such an insignificant aspect of a channel to be thankful for, but it really goes a long way. Your channel has an old school, pre-algorithm chasing vibe to it. It's sincere. With all that said, I think you could just about branch out wherever and your audience will follow. My belief is that people should subscribe and like videos based off the fact that they think the content is genuinely good and not because the creator told/asked them to do so. Having said that, I may start specifically advertising the Patreon a little more in future videos, but I won't do it for everyone and I'd keep it at the end of the video where it's the least distracting. I figure if I'm going to advertise something it might as well be myself rather than some sponsorship for a product I don't even use.
@Jethild yeah man, you should definitely plug the patreon more often. Not taking sponsorships is a big deal, so you've got to work around that in some way, at the very least. Again, your refusal to compromise on your productions is massively appreciated by a lot of us, even if it isn't mentioned all too often. I imagine a lot of your audience are old enough to know how YT used to be, after all.

I've always enjoyed your C&C lore videos. I am a fan of C&C and have played the 3 series of it. I can suggest about discussing the arsenal of those from Red Alert and Generals universe. I like to see what others you can do. I like sci fi too and it'll be interesting to see if you can do Starcraft, HALO, and Titanfall to list a few examples. Keep up the awesome work.
Well I've already done the arsenals and factions of the Generals universe. I plan to do videos on Red Alert after I get done with the Tiberium series. Doing both Red Alert and Tiberium at the same would be too much C&C for me personally. Like yes the factions and settings are different, but the core gameplay is still the same or similar. That's why I'd like for a new series to be something different.

I think the reason a bunch of us like your long form content is because it lends itself well to listening on the move. You have a good voice that's pleasant to listen to, and actually watching the video is often not necessary. So often I have a video of you on while cycling, or on the train or waiting somewhere

I actually remember playing Jane's World War 2 fighters on my dad's PC when I was kid. He's always loved playing those WW1 and 2 flight sims like Red Baron, Jane's, European Air War and the IL:2 games.

Big yes to Rise of Legends. Such an underrated game with some pretty cool lore interwoven. Awesome visual story telling through the landscapes & scenery of the world. Plus the soundtrack is very hard to beat. 10/10 would watch. Remaster Pls.

Love your in depth videos about my favorite RTS games and covering the Dune trilogy would close the loop on Westwood games, even though they only made the last 2 (first one might not be connected, but definitely inspired Dune II/2000 and Emperor: Battle for Dune). Also, the longer the videos, the better.
Even though those images for that poll werent meant to be examples i do think Mass Effect would really suit your style. Lots of details on vehicles and weapons used my the militaries and other organizations, plenty of governments/companies and the secrets they hold to dig into, a bunch of interesting solar systems to explore and explain.
Your videos sound very profesional. Like it's actual military intel. You could do something with Red Alert to have all C&C games. But I suggest also games like: Grey Goo, Supreme Commander and Mass Effect. Wish you a good new year.

what u say about Games Workshop is the reason that led me to stop playing/buying/being interested in anything related to GW that's, i believe, one of the worst decisions i've seen from such sort of company but i really dont believe EA would do anything like that to C&C anyway, i'll be happy to see any sort of content from you, you've got a pretty entertaining way to explain specific topics such as the Black Hand, the stealth technology, the railgun weapons, etc.. so i'm hyped for anything you'll prepare :D
Take you time with it. I do of course still want to see the Red Alert series of videos, however that is a secondary objective. The primary objective is for you to do things on your own pace and how you think it would be for the best. Besides the brotherhood of Nod for example has awaited for ascension since the dawn of time, what is me waiting a year or 2 more by comparison? That being said I did recently had intrest in the Pan-Asian Coalition of Battlefield 2142, so it is a welcomed surprise.
Grey Goo could be a good game to cover as its similar and created be many of the same Westwood guys that made C&C. It has a pretty deep back story in science fiction as well.
Jethild. The settlers, rise of an empire. Have a look at the level of details in the buildings, and all buildings can level up! And there is a lot to talk about since there are campaign only things too like siege trebuchets and such

There's so many RTS Game I wanted you to cover especially now some RTS Game is getting resurrected slowly by Company of Heroes 3, Age of Empires IV, Homeworld 3 and new upcoming Command and Conquer Spiritual Successor by THQ Nordic called Tempest Rising. If you do Lore video of CnC Zone, I hope you can do the Red Alert Zone but of course, that's would take a lot of time and efforts to nail one info considering, the uses of time manipulation and time machine that Red Alert always using. . I love to see you do StarCraft Video even I've seen many youtube video out there covering StarCraft Lore of each factions and galaxy, weapons and units including the source of minerals and vespene gas but, with your style probably it's gonna be good time to watch and digest good stuff. . i think the C&C fans here dont mind the long videos, there is alot of deep lore in C&C and if you do want to do shorter type videos then pulling another game could also fill that variety crave you want to do as well. whatever you decide to do we will watch

Idk if it’s just me, but I would love you see you play through the C&C RTS games and talk about lore while playing, albeit that would take a lot of work and you’re already giving us top tier content as is, I think it’d be cool and I love to watch.
The issue with that is I'm not good at playing games and talking at the same time. So I think that kind of content would be low quality compared to the current edited videos I do.
C&C only has a limited amount of content because they stopped after Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3, unless you count the Remaster of Tiberian Dawn. Don't feel bad about branching out and experimenting.
You could do Universe at War: Earth assault, theres probably only enough content for like 8 videos, but its an underrated rts im hoping gets brought back to life at some point. The factions are really cool, its just a shame how little actual lore we got on them.
Maybe cover some Planetside 2 (MMOFPS) lore, stuff about the Terran Republic (Loyalty until Death, Strength in Unity), New Conglomerate (Freedom over Oppression), and Vanu Sovereignty (Technology Equals Might), and related. Even the Shattered Warpgate incident and Expedition Oshur. Just an idea.
If you want series to do in between C&C I would suggest Ace Combat especially since the timeframe the games released is not the chronological order of the lore

i think the C&C fans here dont mind the long videos, there is alot of deep lore in C&C and if you do want to do shorter type videos then pulling another game could also fill that variety crave you want to do as well. whatever you decide to do we will watch
As much fun as the lore videos of command and conquer videos is, I think it would be fun to see you cover different games as well. I think it would be fun to see fallout lore for instance, if thats something that might intrest you to make. 😁

Idk if it’s just me, but I would love you see you play through the C&C RTS games and talk about lore while playing, albeit that would take a lot of work and you’re already giving us top tier content as is, I think it’d be cool and I love to watch.
The issue with that is I'm not good at playing games and talking at the same time. So I think that kind of content would be low quality compared to the current edited videos I do.

C&C only has a limited amount of content because they stopped after Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3, unless you count the Remaster of Tiberian Dawn. Don't feel bad about branching out and experimenting.

You could do Universe at War: Earth assault, theres probably only enough content for like 8 videos, but its an underrated rts im hoping gets brought back to life at some point. The factions are really cool, its just a shame how little actual lore we got on them.
Maybe cover some Planetside 2 (MMOFPS) lore, stuff about the Terran Republic (Loyalty until Death, Strength in Unity), New Conglomerate (Freedom over Oppression), and Vanu Sovereignty (Technology Equals Might), and related. Even the Shattered Warpgate incident and Expedition Oshur. Just an idea.
If you want series to do in between C&C I would suggest Ace Combat especially since the timeframe the games released is not the chronological order of the lore
