Note: The specific details of the battles themselves are just my opinion since battles in a multiplayer game play out differently every time. However, the canonical victors of the battle can (most of the time) be determined by the information given during the loading screens for each map.

For those wondering, the last 3 maps I covered in this video (Strike at Karkand, Operation Blue Pearl and Yellow Knife) I used a mod called Project Remaster. This mod adds bots and the 64 player versions of each map to the game's single player mode. In addition, this mod improves the graphics and adds new weapon animations and sounds; hence why the footage for those 3 maps looks a little different. You can download the mod from the website ModDB.
And the multiplayer isn't dead! There's still a small community using OpenSpy and NovGames to play :)
@Type 36 Hachimoto Project Remaster isn't dead. The userbase is small, but it's still around. Heck I'll play every once in a while. Sometimes we get a titan map with around 24 players going. Not the 48-player games I remember (or 60 in the standard mode), but it's better than nothing :)
you jave to do one about the units and vehicles, weapons to if you want to.
@@Darkdaej It would be awesome to have an option that allows to add bots to multiplayer to fill the max amount (ex: 64 player map played by 30 humans and 34 bots to complete 64) or a custom amount. When a new player joins, one bot leaves the game. I thought that this was already impletmented but I don't remember.
@@Adri9570 Well they did implement it in the reclamation project if it wasn't in the main game already. A couple servers I played on had bots if the teams weren't large enough, so you could have 6 people playing, three on each team with 21 bots on each team
I love the opening of 2142 so much....i wish some studio that does story based FPS games would make a game set in 2142 so we could actually....you know....get a story!
I think it would be awesome if Dice would revisit the story of BF2142 in a future sequel.
I completely agree, and maybe expand upon the lore, for example what did the countries in South America or in Africa ? And what about North America ?
@@pierrelaroche3921 The United States, or whatever is filling that role, probably went straight isolationist and took over Mexico and Canada. Other than that I haven't the foggiest what would happen to the rest of the Americas in this timeline.

@@pierrelaroche3921 well if you looked at it all the "battles" were essentially WW2 battle sites (some from BF2), granted not all WW2 battle sites were covered by the Battlefield franchise but in WW2 the American Continents were bereft of much of that conflict.
Fun fact, 3 of this 4 maps are remakes of battlefield 2 maps. These maps are Highway Tampa, Strike at Karkan and Operation Blue Pearl but in a futuristic version of the same places.
Ah the good old Karkand Map. This is my most played map in Battlefield 2.
Watching my childhood get covered after such a long time brought some tears, especially rewatching the opening little film o7
Canonically, Karkand was also the site of a battle between the United States and Russia, along with Wake Island.
Battlefield 2142 needs a sequel.
Loved the entire series, thank you. Almost brought me to tears with childhood memories, since BF2 and 2142 were my most loved and most played battlefield games.
Also, it's criminal that we never got 2143, especially since there were clear hints in the last stand dlc for bf4
I guess you mean 2142. But on the Last Stand in BF4, I am willing to bet that mechs will becoming to 2042 anytime now.

It's quite unfortunate the MP servers are no longer active for 2142, The game was pretty unique in 2007. I feel like other games have taken artistic inspiration from this game, IE Planeside 2, 2042, etc. EA should make a sequel or publish a game in the same universe.

Either way, I enjoyed this final episode so much. Also the many references to BF2, the game of my childhood. I pray that one day this gem will get the sequel it deserves. And that we'll see not just EU and PAC, but also USA and other major players thrown into the mix.
Yes, I mention the mods in the video description. The first one is called BF2142 S.P.EX, which is a single player mod that adds 64 player bots to most of the maps in the game. Unfortunately, it doesn't add them to Strike at Karkand, Operation Blue Pearl and Yellow Knife. So for those maps I had to download a second mod called Project Remaster, which adds the aforementioned 3 maps while also updating the game's graphics, soldier animations, and sounds. Both mods can be downloaded from the Mod DB website.

I can totally see this as future scenario for earth, but instead of the cold, its a warming planet where land will be more scarce, due to rising sea level and drought and instead of a flying titan it would be a giant sea vessel.
I was thinking about doing this for COD maps but had no idea how to do it till I saw this series.

Or were the animation changes from the mod which let bots function on maps larger than 16v16? Still intriguing.
For the last 3 maps I used a mod called Project Remaster, which adds bots to those maps as well as updating the graphics, weapon animations and sounds. For Highway Tampa and the previous episodes I was using a single player mod called BF2142 S.P. EX, but I didn't realize till working on this video that S.P. EX didn't include bots for the other 3 maps in this video. So I downloaded the Project Remaster mod to get footage of those maps with the bots. Both mods can be downloaded from ModDB.

I have a strange feeling that after the main story either human go extinct due to extrmem cold, or the society on both sides break down that people either scavenge to survive in their own or form their own community like in the walking dead, kinda depressing
