@@stuntedmonk Can't wait! I have been interested in selvedge denim for a while and I dont have a denim jacket yet so I went for this one! It was on sale and was already the cheapest heavyweight denim I could find.
@stuntedmonk Thanks very much for your response, jacket is very well made like youve mentioned, fit is perfect size in small, well to the point that I fear I may not be able to button it if I ever wash them! Would you know how shrinkage work on those? Should I size up to medium maybe? Thanks in advance for your input. Best:)
A good question but given this is my first denim jacket, I can’t say what my usual size is I’m afraid. Do look at the unbranded size chart, I think in my case I took them a little bit too literally and did not factor in the need for actual movement when wearing the jacket.
I find it a bit weird you say you don’t rate naked and famous based on one pair, but then go on to buy and praise unbranded, which is literally naked and famous but made in China. It’s not like unbranded are higher quality, better constructed, use better materials or produce nicer fabric, unless it’s purely the branding you don’t like.
Thanks for popping by! I bought the unbranded (which I am fully aware is N&F) as it’s a heavyweight denim and I felt ,therefore, a little different. It’s also, comparatively, cheap. The majority of N&F is generic weighted denim and, I feel, very gimmicky.
@@stuntedmonkfair enough man, ye they do a lot of limited edition gimmicky type stuff. They have the more standard line though, right. Like they literally do a type 3, 23oz, slubby denim jacket that’s comparable. Just seems like if you like one you’d probably also like the other 🤷♂️, either way it’s all good. Nice jacket man, hope it serves you well 👍
Love to see on someone.
I just bought this as my first piece of selvedge denim, just waiting for it to come in.
You won’t be disappointed. Something wonderfully substantial about this jacket

Critiques noted, and great job with the video, glad you like the jacket!
Just grabbed this jacket, and I'm looking forward to it. I never had a 22 ounce so I'm not sure if it can be worn frequently. Thanks for sharing
It’s pretty comfy. As it’s outerwear, which tends to be harder wearing anyway, you won’t notice it all that much. I love it, hope you do too.

22oz seems be a bit too heavy. I'm assuming this should only be worn in the winter?
I’d agree, also cool spring evenings, chilly autumnal days. But mainly winter.
Where these clothes at now?!?!
@@OldManSaints good question, summer is closing out, I’ll be back soon
Looking forward to a fade update on this one
You might have to wait a while, I’ve heard it’s pretty slow to fade!
You said you went straight from a size S to an L. What size would you normally buy? Cheers
