Agree that Max has all these cool older NF fabrics. You guys need to wear more of that historical stuff, Street Fighter collection, etc!
They need to sell the current inventory though 🤣
Fits were tough this week! Shoutout to Justin for the half cabs, true skater
I like a nice cropped jacket, which I enjoyed in the work shirts. I also wear my jeans higher than many, above the hips. I am interested in a type 2 in MIJ 12.
The heritage MIJ12 looks so nice, I thought the hemp pants would be my last purchase from you guys for a while but - man! I might have to grab that
That jacket is very tempting, but remember the heritage jacket is now a regular part of the MIJ collection. So if you miss this one, they'll be another around the corner.
@@NakedandFamousDenim Oh awesome - Thanks :D!
I have the Elephant 9 jacket and it’s so amazing. Great pick, Max. The Elephant 8 sounds fantastic.
Lemme buy it... lol
I really want the MIJ 12 type 2. I do need a type 2. I don't have any. I have a type 1 and 3, no 2. I need another type 3 too. I don't want my only one to be a 22oz big slub UB denim jacket lol. I spent all that money on jeans when I should have been thinking jackets. But I did get a lot of work shirts and flannels. I think I collected all the work shirts that were available in the last half year. Besides one cause only xl. I really like the loose weave flannel one. They just kept popping up so I just kept buying them haha.
You "need" to wear the stuff you got! You've got a closet full of denim that is begging to be faded!!
@@JoeyDecay If I get another jacket I need to save up especially for it, because it’s not a need at all. I am ok for jackets. The E9 is a daily wear jacket and the others are here and there, but not too much.
Tokyo Banana! They are the best! I love all the varieties, but the original is probably the best. It's like a banana-flavored Twinkie.
Also, banana-flavored gummies from Japan are awesome!
Banana flavored twinkie, that is exactly it!! I always struggle to explain what they taste like. It's amazing how popular they've become, whenever I ask people if they want me to bring them something from Japan, they often ask for Tokyo Banana.
I just got my first pair of n&f jeans yesterday. The left hand twill groovy guy and i cant wait to see the progression
It's been the longest wait for the MIJ12 and seeing the heritage jacket now has only made it feel even longer. 😅
The wait is almost over! It'll be coming before the end of the month.
I'd love to see a segment of how different people wear the easy guy. There seems to be a lot of confusion on Reddit: Wear high waisted or on the hips? Cuffed or stacked? Wear with untucked shirts or with tucked? Etc.
I just mean a segment showing off the versatility of the cut, because on Reddit opinions are usually black and white: some people seem to say it's a relaxed fit JUST for larger framed people, while others seem to say its a stylized fit meant to be worn low, on the hips, and really only suitable for slim folks. It seems to be
N&F's least understood fit. 😅
It's true, I think I'll ask the guys to cover it next week.
I wear all my cuts however I want. But personally I like the the higher waist fit. I always tuck in my shirt unless it is a work shirt or over shirt of some sort, but even my flannels. The true guy I let sit around the waist and I don't have as much as Vincent to cuff and I'm 6ft. I truly wear anything that has a high rise I have weird, easy, true, and 1 stacked guy, and even arrow fit. I don't like to put too much thought into the cuff or all that anymore, I kinda go based on mood. At work I wear my easy guy fit stacked on my boots, but they're really UB relaxed tapered 22oz big slub. I was cuffing a little but they already have a short inseam so I don't bother anymore. I feel like it's just up to the wearer.
The Top of the World skateshop shout out is major! Miss going there while at uOttawa
Jacket buttons? never the bottom and top button. Sometimes I leave the top 2 buttons unbuttoned. But to each their own, it's all personal preference and the look you want to express.
1:09 i actually have a denim hat like that from Round House workwear. I think they offer hickory stripe too, but they are MTO.
I wear my jacket mostly open, but if I do have to button up, I button every single one, there's no middle ground with me, lol. I would love to see more black jean fades, or a pair of overalls.
once you go type i or type ii you cannot go back Type II is GOATED with the Sauce Tyoe I also great
Love the new jacket
No bottom or top button on jackets. I do the same for my suit vest with 5 buttons.
I like the "dump dump" pockets on the chore coat. If you know who uses that term you are cool.
Our good friend Michael!
No bottom button, ever.
I leave my jacket bottom buttons open!
I remember I saw you leaving the bottom one undone and I started doing that. Then I was like is there really a difference? Oh there is.
@circa54 So much freedom. All button scenario would be extremely rare!
Suspenders > leg tourniquet ( belt)
My old fox fiber jacket is still hanging in there but it needs some repairs.
That's a great jacket to own!!
The classic look is completely unbuttoned.
It's true, personally I rarely button up a denim jacket.
I button the bottom button to the top hole
they dont call it a trucker jacket for nothing, you wear it sitting on your ass and for that the bottom stays undone! my two cents on the chore coat, in a dark indigo with the tonal stitching I feel it passes for a more dressy level up from the trucker jacket, a mid point before going full sport coat.
A chore coat with a sport collar (button collar) shirt, makes for a very chic combo in my books.
4:50 im barely 6 feet and in my true guy midnight slub stretch, i dont cuff them but 2" tops. Its how you wear at the waist too. I like mine right below the navel and without shoes the back slightly touches the ground, unhemmed. What if i want a nice Tokyo cuff? Cant do it with a 34" inseam, 36 yes. With a 34" its like an inch and floating. Yr guy's arguments for wanting a 36 are weak, even though im not one to argue for a 36", i can understand why one would want it. We dont all wear out jeans like Britney Spears in 2001. But i kinda like going with what im given an use my imagination, my true inseam is 32" and im 6 ft. How yr getting that big a cuff is from sagging yr pants.
I wear mine Steve Urkel style.
Still think it'd be funny if someone shows up to fit check in just a banana hammock
There is a thin line between funny and frightening.
"2 and a half, cuz it's cold"
