    375 hours to complete? On the Australian Security Academe website it says the course length is 500 house, so I am assuming a lot more things have been added since the making of this video?
    Is it possible to have an up to date video? I am considering studying this cert.

      Hi Jamie... I’ve not studied for ages. How are you going with the course now?? I’m a boomer & have been thinking of doing this course for years, but haven’t been in the position to do it. But now I’d like to do this course. I’d be interested in knowing how you’re going?? Please reply.
      Cheers

      If the Units match yes. It will depend on the year completed and what the Units were. Gov Investigation is about compliance enforcement in particular :) Good Question

    Can you have a criminal record and still carry out this type of work? In WA they discriminate against people with a criminal record. So I’m wondering what other States and Territories do with regards to clean criminal records.

    • @jamiepenney3720
      @jamiepenney3720 3 роки тому +2

      No. Must not have a criminal history.

      @@jamiepenney3720 So, someone with a criminal record no longer need to pay taxes, follow the road rules, get a licence to operate a vehicle on public road, vote, pay taxes?

      @@jamiepenney3720 You’re saying someone who has been convicted of a crime can’t work? Can’t work in this industry? How about they do? Then what are you going to do about it?

    • @jamiepenney3720
      @jamiepenney3720 3 роки тому +2

      Not saying that they can’t work. There’s laws that state depending on criminal history and charges, you won’t get a licence as a private investigator.
      Not even in security.

      @@jamiepenney3720 And why is that? People who have a criminal record get punished, right? But then after they aren’t consider part of the community? Obviously they aren’t because they aren’t granted the freedoms the rest of the population are allowed. Why should people with a criminal history follow any laws if they aren’t considered part of the community?

    I see Victoria discriminates against people without a clean criminal record also. A Police Office, living in Carnarvon, WA, has his Lawyer goes to court on his behalf, because he is charged for not obtaining permission from his Commanding Officer to conduct a high-speed car chase. Gives some crap excuse about not realising how fast he is going because it’s a modern car and you just didn’t realise. Next time you are fought speeding try that one on and see how you do. HOW ABOUT LOOKING DOWN AT THE SPEEDOMETER YOUR CLOWN! This Lawyer gives some bullshit excuse about the Cop maybe later wanting to leave the police force and get a job in the Insurance Industry and how he loves cars. The lawyer asks for a Spent Conviction for this offence. The judge fines him $500 plus court costs and the cop is granted a spent conviction. What a fucking joke the system is!
