The firefighter was so offended to be accused of being a cop. The most genuine of the lot

Lol why would he be mad
Retired firefighter. I can definitely say this is so. Loved my work. 9/11 SAR and I was honored to help families get closure.

Good point. Lmao
He also picked the most obvious cop as undercover cop ... lol . point of an undercover cop is not to look like a cop in the first place >-

lmao period
I thought the same
Guessed it. His story was so smooth, too perfect. Easy going, likable and normal. Everyone else stumbled on the answers except the fireman who almost WANTED to be named the cop.
And his the only one out of everyone who looks at everyone's movements. Most of them are just focused on the task at hand him nah he has to scan the room and people.
I knew as soon as he said he worked for a limo service lmao. It was just to clean the way he came off. Also he seemed very comfortable while giving off a semi nervous vibe.
He was the only one to get caught up in a lie and nobody seemed to have caught it!
What lie
I knew it too. He was super relaxed and enjoying himself. Like when you're a teenager and you act normal and relaxed (maybe more than usual) when you're lying 😂
Seeing that he had a 90% accuracy rate of finding an undercover that’s pretty scary no wonder how many kingpins and drug lords are able to get away for a long time
90% accuracy? He sorted out 3/5 correctly, making it 60%
@@Kugelschrei He is actually at 0%. He was in a situation where he did not have to wonder if there was a cop somewhere he flat out knew there was a cop and it was definitely one of 5 people and failed to figure out which it was. Being runner up still gets you busted.

Amazing interaction with the fireman veteran, VERY good example of how you can disarm, or simply warm up a man a little bit by getting him to talk about something they like.

The reaction he had when the fireman said the difference between fireman and police was a huge giveaway. Between that reaction, his obvious nerves, the dental comment, and his vague response to what he did before, he did give himself away. The other potential was the girl but that’s because she gives off a military vibe.
yesssss. I noticed the same thing
The girl had me leaning towards her because she had perfect form for her pushup. Thats not normal unless youre trained.
Even the way she was standing on the beginning with her arm in the back I thought she’s cop
EXACTLY! THOUGHT THE SAME THING ABOUT BOTH!
Yep. That girl did give off suspicion for me, but I was thinking it could be just as much Military. Then you see how she's dressed, the boots, the form on the push ups, and her overall body language, it screams far more Military than cop for sure.
Great job buzzfeed for not spoiling the undercover to us too soon in the vid, making it more exciting to watch and think for ourselves

Her body language
You could tell it was him by the way he was standing at the end. Parade rest is a natural instinct for either military or LEO’s. He never mentioned military so it’s definitely law enforcement.

When he said the precinct number i knew it. No1 else gon remember a precinct number when callin the police
The limousine guy and the girl gave very unique vibe's, the girl was very confident the guy quiet nervous, the others displayed casual neutral behaviour, but those two personalities threw me of, and I knew it had to be one of them two.
Coz they black.
She looks like a student of psychology. Just taking it all in. She looked like he's gonna guess correctly
Knew it was him before he even spoke. He smiled like a cop.
He also stands like a cop. With his arms behind his back. My ex was a cop and he always stood straight with hands behind his back and even when his fingers were in front he'd stand the same.
Yeah 😂
Hard
Yeah he was the most entertained . Had he been on the job still he wouldn't have done that though
The limousine business gave it away for me. A lot of ex law enforcement go into that field of business after they’ve retired
I knew it was him from the start. If you look at their expressions in the beginning, he was scanning the room and grinning - and everyone else was subdued and looking down.
Yeah as soon as he hid his hands 🙌 game over.
I knew he was a cop just based off his stance. He had his hands behind his back the whole time. Everybody else was standing the exact same way with their hands in front of them.
He also had them by his side near his waste. When you have a lot of training it becomes a habit especially for conceal carry. You want your hand to be near your weapon.
I realized who was the cop because when you are the protagonist, you always want to pay attention to everything, and Mark was the only one listening to all of them and looking in all directions the whole time, he seems to be the only one actually enjoying the role playing
A bunch of them stand with hands behind their backs.
He also had a little lie in there, he said he had to call them up because his house was burglarized and then right after he said they call him while he was in Spain
The female had her hands behind her back too!
I called it right. The firefighter said some things that actually evoked a genuinely offended reaction at 8:12. The ex-drug lord might have caught this if the cop had been within his field of vision at the time. Arguably though, that cop would have managed his reactions better if he had been within the field of vision.
He gave himself away too with his reaction to the “best dental” comment. He just made it undeniable when the FD guy was talking
It's not a continuous shot, so not sure if those two scenes are sequential

Actually the fireman gave the cop away, when he told the difference between cops and fireman, the limousines guy released a whole bunch of pressure with discomfort, in a clear dislike of his sayings. Also the cop was ready to drop the company name so fast without being asked, it looked like a prepared story to me. He was the most nervous, the one that was open mouth laughing all time in a clear attempt to look calmed and chill, also watched all the environment and the other persons like really really many times. That's a guy who likes to be in control of situation development. The fireman was the most transparent and lovely guy of all. A man you can trust. I think the girl is a cop anyway. BUT THE COP WAS NEVER REALLY UNDERCOVER COP. AN UNDERCOVER COP IS AN ACTOR ON TOP OF SMARTNESS. This cop was more like a regular police man I think, the one that gets immediatelly discovered and killed
Honestly you could say a lot of things about the rest too. Its easy to pick random things about someone when you already know the answer.
Bro chill with the adderall
From the pushups I knew the woman wasn't a cop.
@@tragile9108 I thaught when I saw a women ( black jack dealer ) knock out 3 Man push-ups .... that she had to be in the army or just a regular police officer ( not a undercover )
There's actually a pretty low chance that organised criminals will kill an undercover cop after finding out they're an undercover cop.
They typically try to avoid killing police and journalists because that turns a sentence like this guy's six years into life.
The primary risk from discovery is losing the case entirely.
Why the hell is there a sledgehammer on the table? Just wondering

For sure because he talks about it openly people who stay quiet stay quiet
He probably did, but so do heavyweights like cartel drug lords when they get caught. They even sellout their own family members and politicians, lawyers, businesspeople, and cartel allies just to get lighter sentences or to secure the stability of their drug syndicates so that their children may inherit and continue the drug trade. Only ones who are known for not snitching are the old guard of cosa nostra Italian Mafia. Even the new generation of Italian mafiosos snitched to a certain degree. The guy in this video was a mid size fish in the drug world. They all fold and tell. Some more than others. Very rare are those who strictly live by a moral code of no snitching no matter what.

I just want to express my gratitude to the fireman who worked 9/11. Those men were subjected to horrors unimaginable, and were left with lasting health issues that the government did absolutely nothing to help them with. Livelihoods were lost due to medical bills all because they cleaned up a literal terror attack, working around the clock, on regular job salary! The way these heroes were treated is a great shame of the American Government.
I have so much to say but no energy to write it. But I agree. Just disgusting
They do war veterans the same way.. Those guys should never be homeless.. and they should have the best of medical care, especially mental health.
Literal terror attack? You mean a controlled demolition
This kingpin sounds like he could be a cop with these mad interrogation skills. So combative lol
2 sides of the same spectrum actually...
They're more inquisitive than cops they do that for a reason.
I read everything I could get my hands on about body language when I was young, and watched heaps of videos as I got older. I was a manager of a menswear store for 15 years so I got to practice this stuff.... and you were using a lot of the same techniques (and asking questions is a big part of it. Like asking a question that you know they will lie about.... small stuff like you ask the car they have then you say "is it the best car ever made". They will obviously say yes, jokingly or not, but they are lying and their answer will give you a "tell". Poker players do this a lot). This adds to body language as they speak and move. It looked like you were using all those "skills". Well done to you. Just my observation though, and I could be wrong, but I'd like to know if you would tell me.... cheers mate.
I KNEW IT! His mannerisms and reactions gave it away. While the Boss was taking people off the list you could see him getting more and more nervous that he'd be right. Good show 👌🏾👌🏾
I knew it was him just because of the way he reacted to what the fireman was saying about cops.
YES!!!!
Moustache is a nice man you can tell he’s been through it 👍
i still think the guy with the mustache is the real undercover cop...
Notice how the cop was the only one who didn’t have his hands on the table. He was hiding something.
No wondered I didn’t get hired at interviews… literally don’t know what to do with my hands.
I picked the right guy before he even started asking questions. Reason: body language. the way he walked in and stood "at ease" with arms behind. Only cops or military stand like that but cops do moreso who have been out in the streets. It's an authoritative stance. The lady did too so I thought it could be her also.
For me it was his response to “cops want it for free.” He didn’t like that.
or maybe it was that he got called out at the very beginning of the video… nd looks like a cop lol
I could tell right away. First, owning a limo company felt like a good job for a retired cop. They spend a lot of time driving while on the beat, and they got the hookup on cars in great condition for super cheap from the city impound auction. Next, when questioned about his job history, he gave the appearance of answering, without actually answering directly and fully, which showed that he was hiding something. Lastly, the way he phrased his answer regarding cops having the best dental care as "is it?" instead of "do they?" implies personal ownership, acknowledging that he has the police dental care program.
Great analysis
@@Lescouflair thanks

damn just noticed it. 100%
it looked like that for the guy with the wrinkles the cop didnt look hurt at all ur tripping
The minute his face changed I knew it was him
This is a perfect example of why he did 6 years 😂
You could tell from the start because he was smiling when the kingpin interviews the other people. He triws to act natural and lowkey when other people are tense so he is basically an experienced liar
Really love Marte's personality, the way he is smiling and chill, allows the guy to do a kimura, shows compassion about the burglary... its just these little details that make him a very likeable person
I knew it was him because you could see him look offended when the firefighter was slagging cops off
Only 6 years? Yeah you definitely told on somebody.
It’s funny that the ex-kingpin completely oozes confidence, until the mustached man sits down. Then he immediately backs up and takes his arms off the table.
Because that was his old supplier
"I told you Julio I'm gonna get you your money back!"
When an alpha steps forward, everyone knows it.
yes, true, and you can see the uneasiness that fireman brought on him
That was him giving him respect. Giving someone respect can be a psychological move. He was not scared of him, because what’s going to happen on a Buzzfeed video? Everyone is just chilling.
The problem with this test is each of them could have been under cover for specific missions. Even though I got it right there's no one all personality for the type of world.
Its not the personality it's the mannerisms.
The jujitsu really threw me off, but when it got to the last two guys, I forget what the one interviewing them said, but the cop did this massively huge nervous swallow. It was so noticeable it was comical. The interviewer caught on, but still went for the jujitsu guy.
The cop when asked questions he was giving very extreme answers. For example he said he own a limousine company, then jumped to a story about being in Spain, and didn't give a clear answer about his past jobs, said he was a personal trainer to avoid working for his dad????. If he was a personal trainer he most likely would have continue with a body physic that reflects that discipline.
I know the jujitsu guy couldn't say what kind of green he smoked, but I think he said that to seem cool.
If he would’ve looked at the line while the firefighter was talking he would’ve seen the cop react to what was said 😂
“It’s in my blood” love his sense of humor😭
You don’t get 6 years in prison for this type of crime without helping the government. He deff snitched on his codefendants
And on his rivals.
Nah. If you read his case, his was a small time operation so they cut him a good plea deal.
What gave Mark away to me was that he had a sly look in his eyes and he was the most gregarious. The other four looked too sincere and not nearly as social. And you need to be both deceptive and social to work undercover.
Yes, I thought similarly. He was too relaxed and enjoying everything, almost like overcompensating. Definitely the odd man out.
As soon as he said "you guys got best dental service" or something like that he the old guy and the girl were checking/cleaning their teeths...
The cop’s facial expression became sooo animated when the firefighter spoke. When his excitement quickly turned resentment at the end of the firefighter’s retirement comment, I realized who the cop was. Before that I was lost. Lol
I knew it was the cop from the onset.
Only a cop would know about body language enough, to form a fit of nervousness. By rubbing his palms together, when he should've been acting tough.
His story was also actually a story. He told it like a story. He didn't talk about it like it was his history. Something he had lived through.
He knew the precinct number. Had pretty white teeth. Great dental service. And then, he was the only one actively reacting to the fireman's cop/fireman narrative.
Dude could literally relate.
There were too many giveaways. The guy should've gotten it right.
Yep from the get go, if you go back pause it upon their presentation to the individual. Only one looking around at the others with a 'this is wild huh guys' smile.
The rest were solely focused on the individual they were going to fool. As their minds were focused on fooling the individual and thus reading him.
Awesome
EDIT: He probably would have loved his over the shoulder adjacent position and watching the other folk sell their stories. He's gigglin, lovin it.
Then when he's almost picked he swallows
Civil service dental and vision insurance are both actually crap.
Mmhmmm
Bro was licking his lips like they were glazed with chocolate frosting. Like he was so obviously lying that I thought he was trying to reverse psychology. Kinda shocking how bad he was at lying. Guess the kingpin thought the same thing, just w the guy he chose. But then again, not much to expect from an American cop lol
well, the reaction to the firefighter comment was behind the guesser's head, so you can't bag on him for that.
The best part was the mention at the end for Conbody. I think it's really great he's giving redemption a shot by growing his own business in the fitness niche, instead of going down hell's street one more time. Let's go Conbody!
KNEW it was the limo driver/owner.
Judging by how nervous he was, couldn't stand still, but yet staying attentive.
😂
Gave it away quick.
Even with his quick answers.
i guessed him as well but only because i figured, he wanted to come off as nervous to counter the exdruglord’s theory that confidence would come off an ex undercover.
I knew it was Mark! He said he had to call up the local precinct when he got burgled, but then 2 seconds later, he said they called him up.
No i think he meant his employees or the security guards told him about the burglary and then he called the precinct?idk
Dude was only "close" because of the order they were standing and the side he started from.
I’m glad he turned his life around. Seems like a cool guy. As well as the other people he interviewed. Especially the fire fighter.
I nailed it down with Mark: when he was about to name the police precinct number, he tries to deliver a doubtful answer, but not over acting it at the same time, delivering the right answer. A few more things give it away, but I had to watch it 3 times before seeing the answer.
bro... love the videos...this format is killer. I love to read body language. make more like this... you are cool and a great host for this. got my subs and like
You know for an ex drug lord. This guy seems like a really nice and good guy. Like I want to be his friend
Me too
Yeah most are that’s how they sell drugs bruh lmao it’s all customer service till somone doesn’t get paid
Make a mistake, cost him money and see how nice he is.
@@Lenslows bro drug lords don't sell to the end customers, they sell to other dealers :D
Buzz feed one of those channels where you can just leave it in the background playing
Mustache dude is definitely a firefighter. I think the nervous guy is just playing with the guy
Edit: called it.
3:34 I love how when he mentions dental work, all four in the back run their tongue over their teeth subconsciously, I did it too
At 8:10 the cops face is priceless at the subtle insult from the fireman
I remember working years ago at a Timmy's (Canadian coffee/donut shop) on a major highway and we always had to give the cops their stuff free. Must be an international thing!
I could tell it was him from the jump. Easy to tell as his story was well thought out. Typically most people act more like the rest of them. Short and succinct when they are being interrogated. But take that with a grain of salt 😂
Well, that and he wasn't even an undercover cop...
@@lanmandragoran8337 He said he was. He just said he wasn't on a narcotics team.
Every probing question this guy asks is basically "are you a cop?"
"Do you like donuts?"
"I bet you enjoy eating bacon"
"Were you trained by the force to do pushups?"
"Ever ride a horse in times square?"
"Oh you seem like you're cuffing me"
yea this is for the likes. Internet fake face is on. This isn't how it happens in real life whatsoever...
The ex cop was smiling through out the entire video when the rest were being interviewed...
I like how he's trying to do something better with his life. Even if it's forced, or an act..he's still doing it.
Just because someone sells drugs doesn’t mean they’re a terrible person, hell most would rather do something legit they just don’t know how.
@@TWHowl Not a single drug kingpin in the entire would ever change his life, until they get caught.
your view is MAYBE true for the very little footsoldiers pushin some dope to get by, but the higher ups dont need that money.
they do it for power, because thats more addicting than their merchandise.
Leos it you’re wrong about that bud… I changed my life… completely
@@mysticalraven89 good job man!
I knew he was the cop, lie sounds ridiculous
3:30 he gives himself up , responds to question as " is it the best " and looks away instantly realizing he just agreed to the other guys statement about him having good insurance from police force due to his white teeth
This was the most New York thing I've ever witnessed.
I started saying "no, how YOU doin?" just by watching it.
He got him when he asked him what precinct and he said right away. “45”
Exactly and he said he knew the precinct number because he called the police. Then he says the police called him on his trip.
The old guy screamed firefighter to me from the jump
I literally knew it was that guy just by his phone holder 😂😂😂 when my suspicion was confirmed I literally couldn't believe that's all it took for me to know....and I'm not even a drug lord 😆😆😆
Allegedly lolol
