ARE YOU SHITTIN ME? I grew up in the Mad Dogs & Englishmen/Joe Cocker/Beatles/Stones era. I always loved this song. I never thought I'd hear a cover that could do it justice. Respect & Love.

Warren Hayes & Susan Tedeschi voices rock together, what powerful vocal chords God blessed them with!
God didn't bless them with good voices, soulful voices come with time, practice, passion and in a lot of cases pain, it has fuck-all to do with religion.
Haynes gives a bit of the Cocker feeling to this on his vocals. Great band all around and a pleasure to see Chris Stainton still doing it with style.
Warren Haynes is underappreciated. Vocals and guitar--the whole package.
If I remember correctly Joe Cocker's keyboard player jumped in on this one that day! I love this tune!

The Crossroads festivals were some of the best things to come together live in person and on tv ever . The best talent on earth were at those shows

Derek has an uncanny ability to showcase every musician on the team, and add his unmatched sound at just the right time and Susan gets it too. They are about as awesome as it's ever going to get.

TTB is becoming my most favourite band in the whole wide blue world.
Sweet Jesus this is radioactive it's so hot! WOW! Everybody's killing it. Derek's out of his mind! Susan is one of the finest vocalists I've ever heard (And a damn good guitarist.) But I'm taken by the utter joy that is O'Teil Burbridge! I love seeing gifted people performing with such joy and love.

An amazing band paired with an amazing mix. It doesn’t get better than this folks. TTB are keeping great music alive, their mix of r&b and blues is so unique. The soul in their sound is unmatched. Susan Tedeschi is a great writer with an unbelievable voice. Derek Trucks, well, he’s Derek Trucks. The greatest guitarist of this generation, and arguably the greatest living guitarist, never ever fails to disappoint. He’s so technically proficient and has established his unique style, truly amazing. And of course, this husband and wife powerhouse recruited some fantastic musicians to play with them. True music lives people. Listening to the radio, most people are disappointed, as am I. However, all styles and genres have their gems. I’ve only recently discovered TTB and I can’t get enough. Love from Ohio.

Damn, sounds the Master of Space and Time is on the piano.
Had this playing in a rotation while I was doing other things, heard the piano intro and first verse and thought Mad Dogs and Englishmen had come up. Then the second verse Susan's voice came in, I had to run to the computer and give it thumbs up, BRAVO! Great version! What a message, needed now as much as when it was written
She certainly filled in the gaps from the original live version - although those gaps/chorus lapses are part of the charm of that rendition - with fire and soul. Awesome version. A real plus seeing/hearing David and Cesar with this band!!
Anytime- Everytime I watch Tedeschi Trucks Band, they're all having so much fun, laughing smiling what more could you ask for✌️♥️☮️🎶🌻
This is and has been my favorite Sunday Jam for years. Min 4:44 makes my soul shine a little brighter every time. No better song for the days we live in. TOGETHER its the only way to live!

A beautiful, one of the best, "hippie song", with a genuine 'root love message for Humanity'. Makes me remember and celebrate the memory of the greats Joe Cocker and Leon Russel (R.I.P. both), and, why not, all the "Mad Dogs and Englishmen". A memorable rock show/record/movie!
Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks are doing a documentary about those very subjects... Joe Cocker, Leon Russell, Mad Dog & the Englishmen. They just released a preview on their UA-cam channel - Tedeschi Trucks Band - about a week ago. It looks very cool. Not surprisingly, they are both VERY big fans of the era. ✌

Yeah , seriously this song is , what I consider , one of my most favorite hidden gems and I couldn't imagine any other ensemble expressing homage with such a genuine execution. Reeeeeeeeeespect

It's absolutely marvellous ! Tedeschi Trucks Band is a Miracle ! A gift to the World. It's hard to believe that such a band could exist today. Such an incredible feeling, such a passion in their music. They are living legends.
They should release the entire set of this pre-Tedeschi Trucks Band stuff. Would buy in a heartbeat.

What a band. Watch clips of the 1970 Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour (Joe Cocker) and you will get a sense from where this energy originates. And look at Chris Stainton 46 years later, he is unchanged.

Allman Brothers, otiel, Warren and Derrick , what do you expect? Chemistry is unbelievable especially with two of the best guitar players on the planet. Would have loved to see nashvilles jack pearson together with Warren and skydog jr. Otiel was the perfect bass player for the Allman Brothers Band and I hope with the passing of Gregg Allman in 2017, they put together members from the ABB family because they "just dont Make em like they used to". Thiers no substitute for old school southern rock and roll period!!
