PLEASE play the tribunal expansion next!!! I really don’t want this series to be over ... I think you need to start it before the heart is destroyed but, it really wraps up the entire story Please play it next, I look forward to everything you release brah
AKTUALLY (extremely smug and pretentious voice)... Tribunal takes place after you've defeated Dagoth Ur and completed the main quest. In the lore, ending the Tribunal is the 7th trial of the Nerevarine (defeating Dagoth Ur is the 6th, so base Morrowind actually has an incomplete main quest). For a deeper take, read the article about the 7 visions on UESP, it makes sense upon reading them that the last one is about the Tribunal and not Dagoth Ur
Honestly, despite trying several times, I was never able to get into morrowind as a game. I still like the lore and story though, so these videos have been a great way see things in more depth!
Awesome we're done with the main quest can't wait for You to cover Tribunal and blood moon DLC as well as the add-on DLCs😊 We can honor the 6th house and the tribe unmourned by listening to dagorth waves.
Great video my guy, been real entertaining to see your journey playing through my favourite game from my childhood that i still return to every year. Looking forward to the videos on the expansions :)
Thank you for your hard work and patience playing through Morrowind. It was nice seeing your perspective of it since you had played Oblivion and Skyrim first. Looking forward to what is next.
Great finale to an even greater series! One of the best in MW content and the only one I've seen in this format, loved it! Now go for Tribunal!, but before you start, a note: Tribunal was intended to be installed by people who had already completed MW, but, in typical Bethesda fashion, they botched the integration with the main game and the assassins appear too soon (they shouldn't appear until you've defeated Dagoth Ur). So the best way to play Tribunal is to reset the assassin's quest via console (I believe you can find how in the UESP) and then go on about your life in Vvanderfell (maybe make some side quests...) until you're suddenly attacked when you go to sleep. That's when Tribunal starts. Also, when narrating, keep in mind that the assassins haven't appeared until that point (yes I know they attacked you when you were low level, but just ignore that and pretend it never happened, believe me, it will all make sense if you do). For Bloodmon it doesn't really matter, they learned from Tribunal and made a standalone expansion (Tribunal is not a standalone, it happens after the main quest is complete, I can't stress this enough because so many people don't realize it and end up with the wrong impressions). And finally, for the other factions, Mages Guild has the best storyline (it has the BEST quest in any elder scrolls game, and it's the best by a long shot. won't tell you which one it is, you'll have to find out yourself 😜). Fighters and Thieves Guilds are tied (they're actually one story from two sides, my suggestion is to make 2 characters and experience each one separately). And the houses are all independent, make a different character for each house if you want the best experience, and you can try to roleplay a little bit with them, you'll have more fun 😊
I love how Wulf's appearance in the Tower of Dusk all but confirms Talos' divinity, and that he is actually three men who became one God: His name is Wulf, referencing Ysmir Wulfharth. Tiber Septim/Talos of Atmora/Hjalti Early-Beard himself, and Zurin Arctus, which might explain why he's there in the first place, since it was Arctus who activated the Numidium and it would only be logical for him to show up at Red Mountain. The Heart of Lorkhan was supposed to be the Brass God's power source after all. As much as the people of Tamriel complain about how absent the Divines are, it's interesting that Morrowind has a few of them show up in the flesh here and there (won't spoil any more than that though).
Such a gift to see you finish the main quest and hear your thoughts on the experience man. I know the game is flawed and has quite the learning curve, so I'm glad you enjoyed your time with it despite its flaws and somewhat outdated mechanics. Morrowind is such a narrative driven game and your style of video-making really suits it; pretty much a match made in heaven haha. PS: There's a cut Dagoth Ur line where he mocks you for getting the "false copy of Sunder" which is really interesting. Always liked the idea that you could get faked out getting the wrong tools if you weren't thorough in your explorations of Vemynal and Odrosal.
What a journey! Couple of notes: Completing the main quest definitely affects some of the other main quest lines, especially the Temple and Great Houses as your Hortator title lets you bypass quite a few things, for better or worse so not sure how to deal with that. But the same goes in reverse, achieving high rank in the Temple and Great Houses would have allowed you to bypass parts of the main quest. + In Ald Daedroth that Orc sheogorath worshiper hanging out with the scamp is a funny part of a Temple quest. Shame he died but oh well. And finally, definitely save Morag Tong for last, as it’s the one faction that really cuts a lot of other stuff short as it involves eliminating a lot of NPCs naturally. Congratulations!
30:32 There is a theory that says that Wolf is actually an avatar of Talos. I don't remember much of the details of the theory, but it has something to do with the coin he gives you.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game, I'm playing through it myself and I'm having a good time with it. It's definitely the most inspired game in the series but also a product of its time. The Skywind project shows a lot of promise in remastering it, but who knows when it's gonna be out. Also 30:30 Wulf isn't really a person. He's probably an avatar of Talos that that's only meant to speak with you, and he only appears there at that point in the main quest. That's why no one recognizes him.
Dagoth Ur sounds... nothing like I expected. It's for sure the voice actor that does the Nord and Orc etc. Voices in Oblivion, though. I love Morrowind but I've never finished it.
@ABardsBallad I was expecting something more Dunmer, especially with how gravelly their voices are in Morrowind, but I guess his clean almost radio announcer voice is a good differential from the norm :)
@@The56567878 oh that's so cool. I've never been great at following VAs, but dang does he have a great range. For example, I only learned yesterday that Linda Carter (the original Wonder Woman) was the VA for the nord and orc female npcs!
In my personal opinion regarding ethics, the better choice is to side with the Sheogorath worshipers against the ordinators so they can share the location with the Ahemmusa Tribe.
future note for future runs of morrowind, make sure to soul trap those golden saints before killing them, their souls are some of the best in the game for enchanting gear
Perfect! Hope to see you cover some of the side quests as well. The DLC is fun also lol. You really been putting some hard work into the videos man 🤌. We see it 😎
My friend! That’s too generous of you!! I really appreciate it! :) I’m excited to get into the DLC’s! And honestly, all of the other quest lines that are in this game!!
Excited for the next Elder Scrolls! Here’s what I hope to see: Expanded Storytelling - A more immersive main quest with deeper moral choices that truly impact the world. Let players shape the fate of entire regions, not just individual quests. Improved AI and NPCs - Make NPCs feel more alive with dynamic routines, reactions, and consequences based on the player's actions. Enhanced Combat System - A more fluid and tactical combat system that makes both magic and melee feel equally impactful, with better animations and responsiveness. Bigger and More Diverse World - A larger, more diverse world with multiple cities, landscapes, and cultures. I'd love to see more unique biomes and weather systems too. Co-op or Multiplayer Options - A multiplayer mode where you can team up with friends to explore or tackle dungeons would be amazing. Deeper Crafting & Customization - More detailed crafting options, including customizable homes, weapons, and armor. Improved Modding Support - The Elder Scrolls community is legendary for modding-let’s make it even easier for creators to enhance the game and add new content! Can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!
The Tribunal are some of my favourite characters in fiction. Imagine being handed the choice to become perfect gods in a world of imperfect gods. To reach out and usurp the; vain, cruel, self-righteous and unknowable to replace them with your version of perfect leading your people into a golden age that only ended when their divinity was lost. Now imagine the cost is to betray and murder your closest friend and leader. To draw the hatred of the gods you once looked up to. To deceive your followers. To live a lie in the name of progress... Vivec knows what he did was morally wrong. But I don't think a day goes by in his infinity (pretty sure they were able to just reimagine their own back story with their divinity) that he doesn't regret making what he considers to be the right choice. He is on a plane of existence above all mortals, yet somehow below the divine. It's a lonely place to be an immortal demigod warrior poet king and I think it's one of the most engaging back stories I've experienced in a side character
I never used Silence and Sound magic in Morrowind as to how messy it gets with the npc battle ai. Silence cancels out the FIRST spell use you can cast until the effect is over but never repeated. Sound reduces the cast cost of all spells by the amount of training vs affinity chance, but was badly programmed to INCREASE that chance so you get fried by even lowly bandit wizards?! Anytime I get these artifacts, I sell them to the Zeniab 9000 Merchant or to Creeper. OMW does somewhat fixes these bugs, but they are still bad and do NOT affect scrolls as they are tethered to your physical stats rather than magical!
I too wish we had an more engaging 3rd act. It would have been great if the skirmishes into Red Mountain, to get Keening Sunder and kill the Ash Vampires were done with a band of Buoyant Armigers and members of the Ashlander tribes. Then once that is done you got a full on assault with the great houses and Ordinator's against the Forces of Dargoth ur. Giving us a grand battle... They could have stopped at the chamber before meeting dagoth ur.. holding back the enemies while we have the final battle. But it was probably technically not possible.. I mean.. 1 companion fighting along you is already dangerous.. especially since they do not accept being hit (as far as i recall) It does feel flat to become war leader of the houses and tribes.. and not wield that power for anything.
@@ABardsBallad Oh I wouldn't worry about killing a god. If all the AI Dagoth Ur videos (great watches) are anything to go off he just left his world and came into ours.

Hell yeah, we ending the prophecy with this one boys!
Haha you love to see it! I hope you enjoy this one my friend!
It’s weird hearing Dagoth’s lines without Young Scrolls music behind them!

@ABardsBallad better do the factions first, the DLCs are both difficult if you're not leveled enough.
Really enjoyed watching the main quest looking forward to whatever next
That’s great to hear! Again, I really appreciate the support!
Great series finds an end. Thank you!
Played the game as a kid, but never finished the main plot. Finally got to see the ending.
