@@Fracture.Gaming It turns out I was mistaken about tavern brawler, which I shouldn't have been since I was using it just prior to watching this video. Which is embarrassing. Rechecking things, I can confirm it's from the Ring of Flinging, not the Tavern Brawler. Still the same thing, though. It's added to all the damage of something that's thrown, period. Opening the door (or I guess in this case breaking the bottom) triggers the trap, which is how you died. Krieg's trailer is one of my favorite pieces of game-related media, the voice acting on him is superb, I just wish Borderlands actually did something interesting with the character. I love that you've given him a second life in Baldur's Gate 3, if anything I just wish you gave the sane voice a bit of spotlight too.
It’s Larian studio, it is expected. Much like they loved the barrelmancy cheese build in dos1/2, they pretty much love the creativity of players using unorthodox methods to win battles that they refuse to “patch” it. They only nerfed environmental effects in BG3 because it’s much closer DnD 5e than their own homebrew games, so it’s doable but not without its difficulties. They really want players to have as much freedom as they can without punishing players or shoehorning them into the hardcoded combat system since DOS 1, which is probably why people love them so much.

Well don’t forget that I did have one party member with a build that absolutely slapped. But yeah you can get away with a lot of fun builds without min maxing!
I have been trying to recreate the glitch with the cage. And for some reason, if ANY part of the cage is attacked, the entire cage takes a TON of fire damage causing the entire thing to collapse. And it's only the cage too, not the goblin locked inside. I have no idea what causes that to happen either as at the time of testing I turned off the giant brazier to ensure no outside interference. It's like there is an invisible alchemist fire or something attached to it. It's also what downed Krieg.
Honestly I ran into your videos recently as I’ve never played any of the divinity games but after watching your lv 1 play-through I’ve been loving your content
I'm using a similar setup as your Karlach, but using Eldritch Knight's weapon bond, the Ring of Flinging, the Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo, Lightning Jabber, and Tavern Brawler. Pair this with Fighter lv. 11's three attacks per turn plus Action Surge and you can get 6 throws of the Lightning Jabber, which adds a lightning damage roll upwards to 15. I believe Elixir of Bloodlust also works with this, allowing even more attacks. A good way to get the achievement for getting 5 attacks in one character's turn.
I love this video, it came together exactly as well as I was hoping it would! I'd never tried something like this before, so it was nice to see everything work out as planned. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
It's just amazing, my friend! I already played some stupid ways in Divinity OS2 and was about to find something similar in BG3 and this is just fantastic! Thank you for all the effort and hard work!

That fight with the dwarf and the zombies took me back. I did it as a warlock with high charisma, so of course I convinced the fellow that I'm gonna help him out.... then I put all those corpses in a barrel and he no longer had anything to raise, plus I used the whole first turn to nuke on him with Hold Person shenanigans.

I did something similar. I created a Gnome Barbarian named Short(est)King who threw people around like he was part of the WWE. Eventually I multi-classed as a Barbarian/Monk, where I proceeded to also punch everyone within arms reach. It was hilarious watching a little person smaking people around with their friends, especially when I'd make Gale cast enlarge on Short(est)King.

You just inspired me to make a dwarf berzerker who only throws axes. And food. And hafling. *Chuckle*
this shit is fun in act 1 i wish u goodluck doing this in act 3 :D lol hope u do tbh cant wait to watch that!
It's just amazing, my friend!
I already played some stupid ways in Divinity OS2 and was about to find something similar in BG3 and this is just fantastic! Thank you for all the effort and hard work!
I am playjng through as a proper choatic dark urge. I am going to watch up until I have played so far and then I'll be back once I am done being evil.
I must say this video showed me how useful throwing or consumables, that being said I will continue hording and never using anything with limited uses. Good Vid, the voice lines were super entertaining
I’ve hoarded so many potions, bombs, arrows, and scrolls for my level one playthrough… gonna just start unloading my inventory on enemies
Your Krieg has the shiniest meat bicycle. This is ART.
I can’t believe I missed this comment, thank you so much!! I’m glad you liked the video, I’m really proud of this one.
The cage in the goblin fortress is trapped, so you hit it and it went boom lol.
Gales severed hand kill me from laughter. This is hillarious, thanks man!
Man for a relatively small channel your video kicks ass, great editing, hilarious meme worthy gameplay! Subbed!
Thanks so much, I'm getting better all the time! This idea was really exciting for me, I'm so glad people like it! I want to try it with other characters and maybe in other games too

i just watched 49 minutes of a game i have 55 hours in and rethought every single decision ive made in that time. You had way more fun than i thought i was having, GGs what a build guide for lightning dmg stacking
I'm glad it's not just me who found the Gith patrol to be INSANELY humbling
this was such a treat to watch, thank you for making this
Damn you making Maya his dream visitor hit me a bit harder than I was expecting
This was such a great video! I can't wait to see how your Krieg handles the rest of the Dark Urge, I just beat that last night :)
THIS WAS AS MUCH FUN AS A MEAT BICYCLE BUILT FOR TWO!!!
Nice little touch making the Dream Visitor look like Maya.
I see Krieg got the Bloodless debuff, how nice of him to be Astarion's personal caprisun
37:28 that goblins cage has a trap if you try to open so it blew up when you touched it also 43:36 Im glad you used that bomb because that thing can dig underground and run when its health is low I had so much problems with it since it was running around 70 health and all you can is one shot it before it runs that bomb saved you
It was wonderful. The video. It was unique, it was fun to watch. Although the summaries were short, they were detailed enough. Edits was good. It was nice. Thank you.
This LP just shows how good Barbarian is in BG3. Funny dialogue options, insane damage, and more
I had no clue they made tavern brawler that damn strong. I'm gonna make a dwarf that throws hammers.
It is pretty busted...
this is outrageous! feel like you r trying to turn baldurs gate into a Monty Python movie lol
I did get pretty into it with this video... I was really proud of the idea and wanted to make sure I gave Krieg the performance he deserved.
great video! can’t wait for the next adventures of karlach the pike throwing demon
With Krieg as best supporting actor ;)
The Returning Pike is ridiculously good.
This is the first challenge video I've seen on this game and it's perfect
So happy you liked it :) I think I'll try more roleplay videos with other characters, and finish this one out too (eventually)
omg that intro was hilarious! I didnt not EXPECT such good voice acting.
~ gone are the days of the tentacrrrrggggllllllllleeee !
Haha I wish I could take credit for that, but the voice lines are pulled directly from Krieg in Borderlands! Every line is one of his actual voice lines.
Missed opportunity to make them run around the world naked.
"Krieg wont hurt innocence" *cuts hand from random guy in a portal which would most likely lead to him bleeding out*
That was a weird hallucination for sure, thank goodness it’s completely unrelated to this severed hand I just found in my backpack
I'm saving this to watch after i finish my own playthrough
I hate and love that your builds worked as well as they did!
why do Kreig voicelines work so well in this game? Hearing them in the wrong context is even funnier
I don’t know but they just do. They’re so perfect
Oh god, imagine that throwables build with that legendary triden that comes back when thrown
It’s so good, you massacre your primary target and do tons of AoE damage too
I am now doing a Krieg Dark Urge playthrough, thank you for the wonderful idea lmfao
Phrasing! Are we not doing that anymore? Dual-wielding salamis... priceless.
Found the all Warlocks vid, laughed and enjoyed so much, subscribed from that. Watched the Zhalk cheese vid, then this one. I just started a new playthrough, and was fully intending on using Karlach anyway, so definitely doing this now. Brilliant video and channel. I wish I could subscribe and like more. Love the roleplays and cheese vids equally. Really hope Krieg lives on.
Krieg will continue slapping people with his meat, but it’ll have to wait at least until I get a run started with each of my different video concepts for BG3.
I have a few different styles of video concepts with varying levels of roleplay vs gameplay and want them all posted so I can see what people think and improve the concepts moving forward!
@@Fracture.Gaming All good I look forward to whatever fresh hell chaos you produce next. Stay cheesy and awesome mate.
I feel bad for Alfira… woulda been neat to get a bard companion like her.
The concept is great bro, had me laughing all the time :D. Keep it up.
Krieg is love, Krieg is life
