- linen thai fisherman pants (like Capri length palazzo pants on me), the drawstring waist is so comfortable when you travel, you can wear for a few days before needing to hand wash, and gives the appearance of wearing a skirt sometimes when you want to be a little dressy but not full-blown "I'm touring a cathedral" dress - merino t-shirts - AllBirds ballet flats - 2.5 litre Lululemon crossbody bag - a pashmina for evening chills, balaclava in dusty regions, covering in conservative regions, warm layering at 30,000' !! ... and I'm good to go ✈ 🚆 🚢
Could you share the size you went with in their items? Similar to most of your other clothing sizes or did you choose to go up/down? I've got a lot of stuff from Woolx but want to get bottoms from Wool& since Woolx doesn't do anything but leggings and heavyweight pants.
@@ItsTheKellys Thank you! I've got several pieces from WoolX but love so many of the different options Wool& has. The pants are #1 on my list to order so knowing your sizing is a huge help.
It was YOU! You introduced me to Wooland. I remember watching a video of your 100 day challenge. Lol. I've gone down the rabbit hole. I'm currently doing my 100 day challenge in a Maggie. I completed my 30 day challenge last year in my Brooklyn. My husband and I have completed the 10x10 challenge. He did his 100 day challenge in a wool& prince shirt. I just bought a Laurel which will be my 30 day challenge for this year. I am grateful to you for starting me on this journey.
I just received their catalog in the mail and I didn't give it much thought. After seeing your video, I will be purchasing a few pieces for my travel wardrobe. Thank you. Perfect timing!
Great pieces! It would be good to share the specifics about care and storage of Merino wool. Most are hand wash and storing with moth balls in a storage bin is best to keep bugs from eating it! Could be a deterrent for some folks. I am going to check them out. I have a few pieces and want to get more.
Just got my first Wool& dress. Love it and definitely want to build more into my wardrobe, especially since I'm traveling more for work and want to stick with carry-on packing
Love this video! I'm a Wool& fan and have a few of their pieces. I did the 100 day challenge in a black Sierra, and it's still my favorite piece. I have 2 other Sierras, a top that is no longer available, a summer top, the Axis crop leggings, and a shawl/scarf. They are a big part of my regular wardrobe, and are great for travel too. They look great on you! Very flattering and so fun!
Thanks for this video! I was looking for a store to purchase plus-size merino wool clothes. Some of the items will be great for my fall cruise. My favorite pieces are the swing dress, wrap dress, scoop neck tee, and culotte pants. Also, love the color selections.
Thank u for this updated Wool& video. Just got their leggings, much more comfortable than wearing athletic wear leggings under the dresses. Can’t stand leggings digging into my waist. U are the best!👍
I actually got my first dress from Woolx and I love it and I noticed Quince started carrying some merino wool along with their washable silk and cashmere line. I'm also looking into alpaca wool. But I'm obsessed now because Wool& has more styles and sizes ( hopefully for petites soon) Thank you Lauren as always for the updates!! I don't think they do the 100 day challenge anymore or they probably got inundated with requests so they had to tighten the rules or change the amount of the gift card, but I'll look again. All those colors look smashing on you cause you're so pretty you can wear anything ❤ is that skirt a persimmon coral or red?
Love your videos. I have looked into Wool& before but have not purchased. Today, You convinced me to order some items. Also, did I mention you look absolutely fabulous in this video. You glow!! 😊
Hey "bag lady"! 😅 I didn't know it had been that long since you had a segment on merino wool (ie Wool&) !!! I am so glad you have because always have to take time to explain to people why merino wool, not just any wool, is great for travel... down to your undies! - resists wrinkles, hang for a bit and they fall out - resists stains - lasts years if hand/gentle wash - stretches, resists snags and burrs - cool in summer, warm in winter - great layers pieces - evaporates sweat - don't forget underwear and socks (!) - antimicrobial (wash a t-shirt or dress once every three or four days, rinse out your undies and socks overnight and they're dry in the morning!) If any burgeoning travelers are hesitant to commit either due to pricing or they believe wool is itchy...... just start with one piece, like a t-shirt. Also, try leaving cotton behind and trying synthetics like synthetic traveling pants. You'll never be bogged down with the weight of cotton. PS cotton doesn't quick dry, forget about washing it overnight, it snags, it doesn't resist stains et cetera et cetera et cetera et cetera.... and don't even get me started on dungarees when you travel! Now I can just forward this video 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
I am currently traveling a whole year with 3 Wool& dresses plus 3 linen dresses. I'm thinking I could probably done the whole year in 4 or 5 wool& dresses instead😂.
I will take a look. I purchased from Branwyn after your videos talking about them and LOVE the merino bra and underwear. I also love Unbound Merino so I’m excited for a new place to check out!
Oooh, I was hoping that raglan tee would be mine to take to Iceland and Norway this summer, but it's currently sold out. Not giving up hope, though! I'm also considering the leggings. Thanks for showing all those awesome pieces, Lauren!
I bought a bunch of merino shirts before my 6 week trip to Australia and New Zealand, and I even got a bunch more while there, especially from Icebreaker. With how long you can wear merino products, how often do you try to wash them, and do you hand wash or use the washer? I can imagine it’s handwashing while traveling…
I'm eyeing several things from Wool&... can't decide which dress to try. I think maybe one with sleeves - I'm ALWAYS cold and it would be nice to have a dress that covers my arms. I wish they had a store for in-person try on. It's so nervewracking choosing a size online.
They do have a long sleeve long dress that I will likely be getting for more of my modest travel countries. They also have a midi length one with 3/4 sleeves! With sleeved dresses, I find that I like to size down, because I like the top to be tighter rather than loose.
Thank you for sharing….I’m now so intrigued and would like to try some merino wool, but they are not that affordable. Also, would you please consider comparing or ranking all of your hybrid trunks…you at least have 5 or 6 of them, if not more. I know your favorite is the monos, but would love to see how it compares to the level 8 hagent & freeloop, the July, the MONOS, and the Carl Friedrik! ❤
Yes I’ll do it towards the end of the year though because I know I will end up with more. I am working on a level 8 comparison version for June though!
Going to the Netherlands in a few weeks for the second time this year. Will be a quick trip. Ordered a few items because I am going to, that’s right, back in a carry-on!!!! Will be good practice. I’m only gone for 5 days. Easy, right?!
I found Wool& after seeing your videos and am building my collection! Curious about the leggings. Have you worn them in hot weather around mid 90’s temps? Wondering if it’s just too hot for that.
I have the sleeveless dress and one with sleeves, two t shirts. I love the new culottes and long sleeve tops you shared! When and what did you pack for Norway? We are going in August and I am clueless on what to bring!
Well I went for the Northern Lights when it was freezing, so I had to pack a bit differently than you would. I would think about the activities you want to do, and which pieces you are comfortable rewearing, and go from there!
Merino wool and wool arent the same thing. I'm the same with wool - I get so itchy, but merino wool feels like the softest cotton shirt or a favorite pair of pj's!
What color did you have in the Sofia dress? I see a color called “ochre” but it looks very yellow on the website and your dress looks like more of a dusty soft teracotta pink?
My leggings have a tiny bit between the legs after a few years of wear, but nothing like what my other leggings that aren’t wool have! (Like my lululemon ones that are horribly pilled)
Don't think that I could ever do a 2 day challenge let alone a 100 days in the same outfit as I am just too sloppy. Perhaps you don't have such a problem but I was wondering how well stains wash out of the shirts. I usually wear patterned tops because they are less likely to show subtle stains. Thank you for your review of this line of clothing, do they restock often, they seem to be out of stock on items.
I actually was able to just splash water on any little food stain and it came right out! If they are out of stock, they are usually getting rid of that color to introduce a new one!
@@ciannacoleman5125 Thanks for sharing your experience. I am giving them a try, I don't usually wear t shirts but I need something more sweat controlling. Have worn superwash wool dress socks (mens) for my whole adult life.
@@cr-dv3or I wouldn't say they "control" sweat, but they absorb better than other standard fabrics without looking wet and dry super fast. As someone in a hot and humid summer climate I have been very satisfied with both their signature jersey and ponte fabric. Also these are definitely nice t-shirts. I wear them as business casual and can quickly turn the into "professional" by tossing on a blazer. I love the slight sheen the fabric has.
